I/3 Types of club cards
Personal Card
The card is in the individuals own name; individuals request their cards to be made out in their own name and each card has its unique PIN code. When requesting a personal card, applicants declare by signing the application form that their employers have been informed of their enrolment to the Danubius Bonus Programme.
Company Card
The representative of a company requests a card with a PIN code in the name of the company. A card may only be applied for in the name of the company by an individual entitled to represent the company, and this is declared by the applicant signing the application form on his own responsibility.
When applying for a company card, the company may request several cards (up to a maximum of 9 cards). In this case the companys bonus points are collected on one account. Every card has its own PIN code and card number enabling point collection and redemption in our hotels. We accept a request for the use of the collected points from the person entitled to represent the company.
II. Termination of Club membership
DHMS will terminate the Danubius Bonus Programme membership if the member:
-
violates the rules, as laid down here, of the Danubius Bonus Programme,
-
requests termination in writing and returns the club card to Danubius Customer Service,
-
does not collect or redeem any points during a period of 24 months.
Should club membership be terminated for any of the above causes, the club member shall give instructions on how unused points shall be redeemed before the date of termination; if no such instruction is given, the collected points will be cancelled upon termination.
III. POINT COLLECTION AND POINT REDEMPTION
III/1 Point collection
-
Based on I/1, the club member collects points according to the value of the services used: one bonus point after the HUF equivalent of 10 Euro spent (incl. VAT). Points will be accrued after the use of any other services that are listed in DHMSs point collecting system and the club members are notified accordingly.
-
In order to collect points, the club member has to provide the 12 digit Card number (or provisional card number) on the order form, as an identification of the order on which the hotel will credit the bonus points.
-
Should the club member fail to provide the Card number on the order form, the member may request, in a subsequent manner, the crediting of points by writing to Danubius Customer Service and sending both the order form and the invoice paid. Requests for subsequent point crediting will be accepted within 1 month of the date of the performance of the service.
III/2 Point crediting
IV. BALANCE OF POINTS AND INQUIRY

Our club members will receive statements on the balance of their accounts quarterly. The statement will be sent to the address given on the application form.

V. METHODS OF REDEMPTION OF COLLECTED BONUS POINTS
The points collected by club members may be exchanged for services listed in the DANUBIUS Bonus Programme Redemption Catalogue and other services, as determined by DHMS.
Ordering services:
The services requested will be confirmed by DHMS (subject to availability of the hotels). Club members may request the services chosen either from the hotel or from Danubius Customer Service in accordance with the following procedure:
-
A Voucher Request Form has to be filled out; this can be found on the Danubius Bonus Programme INTERNET site or can be requested from Danubius Customer Service.
-
The service requested is confirmed by the chosen hotel/service provider in the form of a Voucher.
-
The Voucher can only be used by the person specified on it and only in the specified hotel/service provider in the given period of time and for the listed services. Should the club member not use the bonus points personally, the member may request a Voucher for a person nominated by the member in line with the above rules.
-
Club members have to submit their Vouchers to reception on arrival at the hotel/service provider and hand over the club card used for point redemption. The Voucher is valid only together with the card. For redemption of the Voucher, members have to use their unique 4-digit PIN code.
-
No bonus points will be accrued on the use of services listed on the Voucher.
-
The voucher may be cancelled and exchanged for points prior to arrival; in the event the member fails to cancel the Voucher, and/or opts not to use it, he/she shall lose the amount of bonus points corresponding to the value of the service.
-
Vouchers entitling guests to use non-accommodation hotel services (such as spa, wellness, fitness, beauty farm, restaurant services) may also be requested at hotel reception.
-
Non-accommodation Vouchers may not be exchanged but are valid through 31 December of the following calendar year in the specified hotel for the services specified.
