Fitness Room
Work off the stress of a hard day or keep in shape while on a leisure break in our fitness room. Fully equipped with a treadmill, stair stepper, rowing machine, weights and a universal weight machine, the fitness room also features a sauna where you can relax after your workout. Normally open from 7:00 until 10:00 AM and 5:00 until 9:00 PM, we can open the room from 6:30 AM on request.
The fitness room and sauna is available to hotel guests free of charge. In the castle district our guest can found a jogging path through the medieval buildings. King Run is 3600 m & Queen Run is 2000 m.
Directions & Transportation
The city centre is just 10 minutes away by public transportation. The International Airport is 24 kilometres / 15 miles which can be reached within 40 minutes, 3 kilometres / 1.5miles from downtown business area. 250 kilometres away from Vienna.
Coming from Vienna you will enter Budapest via Motorway M1. Getting closer to the city first follow the sign indicating Erzsébet híd (Elisabeth bridge) until you arrive to a huge junction with an over bridge. Drive straight ahead avoid the over bridge and follow the sign showing Margit híd (Margaret bridge). Driving along Alkotás utca and passing by Déli Railway Station, you will finally reach Moszkva tér (Moskva square). Drive straight up the slope and at the top turn to the right to Várfok utca. At the end of this street you can enter the Castle District via the Bécsi kapu (Viannese Gate). You will find the Hilton directly next to the gothic Matthias Church.
Please note, that in order to protect the historic Castle Area gates are put up at entrance of the district in order to restrict traffic. Hilton Budapest guests have the privilege to drive in and out free of charge. They will get magnetic parking tickets at the tollgates, which will be validated (cost covered) by the hotel.
Checking-in and out
Upon check-in Hilton Budapest provides a streamlined and efficient process, enabling you to relax in your room as soon as possible. We will require your address and credit card number and ask you to complete and sign a simple registration form. Please check-in from 2:00 PM at the Reception Desk in the main lobby of the hotel.
Checkout is a simple process and can be carried out at the Cashier Desk in the main lobby. The hotel's checkout time is 12:00 PM.
Hilton Budapest Concierge staff will be happy to assist with your entire luggage.
Security
Hilton Budapest wants to ensure that our guests enjoy a safe stay with us. To achieve this, all guest rooms are fitted with smoke detectors and sprinklers, in-room emergency exit maps, an electronic room key system and safe deposit boxes. Trained security staff patrols all public areas 24 hours a day, and we test fire alarms on a regular basis. All staff is fully trained in the hotels emergency evacuation plan.
