Nice big room for the 3 of us. Extra bed was made up when we arrived. Bags got taken too room, check in was straight forward.

Beautiful historic property. Made me feel like Royalty. It was very noisy at night and in early morning hours.

The Danubius Hotel is very, very good hotel in Budapest. In fact, the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best not only in Hungary but in Europe. The guinea fowl with noodles in paprika sauce is exquisite!

Excellent location close to both Buda and Pest side attractions. Though the lobby area looks dated, rooms are in good condition with comfortable beds and spacious layout.

Absolutely loved the Danubius Hotel Astoria. The location is perfect, our family room was very spacious with a beautiful view to the city. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good too.

Ett utmärkt hotell centralt i Budapest med väldigt nära till allmänna kommunikationer. Fantastiskt vackra miljöer som för tankarna till en svunnen tid, vilket gör att man kan ha överseende med vissa skavanker. Väldigt hjälpsam personal. Vid frukosten finns det en kål- och morotssallad som man kan äta väldigt mycket av - så god.

Very comfort room and place is excellent

The Hotel's city centre location was excellent, enabling us to choose to either walk, bus or metro to all parts of the city. The Hotel has a unique sense of history with a mix of restored and well maintained facilities, and the large room sizes gave it a feeling of grandeur. Their staff were excellent and accommodating.

Great Hotel with Great Staff.

We spent 5 nights and it was a great place to stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food to choose. Service by all staff were very friendly and courteous at all times. Location was perfect

A wonderful hotel! Location was outstanding. The breakfast amazing. Cleanliness was excellent. People complain about Eastern Europe but it is a cultural phenomenon. Walking through the city was easy and local transportation readily available. It is now one of my favorite cities. I can't wait to go back and will definitely stay here.

Excellent hotel, great location, very helpful staff

Lovely traditional hotel excellent restaurant experience at dinner and breakfast. Room much too hot, shabby, not well cleaned. But bathroom fine, lots of hot water, good shower. No additional facilities like sauna or anything but well placed for the city and access to airport by bus link. Waiters were lovely. All staff very helpful.

An amazing tradition hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful Decor of the old style. Fabulous location close to transport, shops and tourist attractions. Also close to Xmas markets. Easily accessible from airport through bus transfer system. Dropped and picked up from the hotel. Only gripe was lack of tea and coffee needs in room. Did bring us kettle and bits when requested but not really topped up. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay at this Hotel. Would stay again

Breakfast great, room has everything you want and spacious. Hotel has class and is in a great area close to everything and a discounted car park near by. Remember to show your car park ticket to the hotel reception.

Jättefint hotell med tjänstvillig personal och bra bemötande. Perfekt hotell att bo på om man vill ha nära till mycket. Bra frukost. Budapest är en härlig stad att besöka med massor att se och uppleva både dag- och kvällstid. Perfekt tid att åka i maj. Rekommenderar bra promenadskor då man upplever stan och sevärdheter bäst till fots.

A great stay from start to finish. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. The hotel had atmosphere, charm and character - the cafe was really good. The fabric of the building might be in need of a little TLC but the location was perfect, though being in the city centre a bit noisy at night. Overall a great place to stay though.

A viagem foi bastante agradável, chegamos ao hotel de metro e foi super fácil (apesar de ter umas escadinhas na saída do metro, mas tínhamos pouca bagagem), ele é central e bem comunicado com transporte público. Os funcionários foram solícitos e simpáticos. O quarto era bastante confortável e limpo.

조금 구석진 방을 준것과 비좁긴 했지만 가격대비 만족하며 특히 조식이 다양하게 매일 조금씩 변화를 주어 좋았습니다.. 반가운 인사또한 유쾌한 숙박이 되어 좋았습니다~

Grand classic hotel. We had a very spacious 2-bedroom suite for a couple and older child. Modern facilities, public transit out the front door, retail and restaurants in the area. Very good value.

Good: Во-первых это настоящий классический отель: чемоданы относят к вам в номер, заказывают такси если нужно, я попросила утюг - горничная сама погладила мне платье за 10 минут и без дополнительной платы. Шикарный завтрак, очень вкусные блюда в ресторане. Номер очень чистый и удобный, убирали каждый день. Отдельно хочу выделить красоту интерьера, все на высшем уровне и в самом центре города! Good: Расположение-лучше не бывает! Метро у входа в гостиницу, все достопримечательности рядом, прогуляться в любое время приятно, в какую сторону от отеля не направишься, везде исторические места! Отличная звукоизоляция - жили в Делюксе у лифта, боялись, что будет шумно, очень к этому чувствительны, но нет, не слышали ни шума с коридора, ни соседей, ни улицы. Завтраки сумасшедшие, потом целый день не можешь дождаться, когда же наконец проголодаешься! Ведь хочется же с удовольствием посидеть где-нибудь в ресторане, а чувство голода после обильных завтраков в Астории никак не появляется! Bad: Вроде бы убирали внешне неплохо, но когда искала закатившуюся ручку, заметила клубы пыли под кроватью, под достаточно высоким креслом. В общем, "Ревизорро" бы оторвалось!

Good: The location is great, right above the Astoria metro station and across the street from a tram and a Hop On- Hop off bus station. We liked the warm and cozy atmosphere, the classic interiors, the spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, and the delicious breakfast buffet. Bad: The staff at the reception were kind of grumpy...

Good: La habitacion muy grande. Ibamos con una niña de 7 años y especificamos en la reserva que dormia con nosotros para que no nos cobraran suplemento, pero al coger una habitacion estandar esto no era posible porque era pequeña y con dos camas, como avisamos y ellos no nos dijeron que no, nos tenian preparada una habitacion enorme con cama de matrimonio e incluso con un plegatin por el mismo precio. Bad: Por decir algo el desayuno era bueno pero un poco repetitivo, tambien puede ser porque estuvimos 5 dias.

Very nice suite, large rooms, friendly stand helpful staff. Price ia reasonable. Would definitely recommend. (Stayed in a 2 room suite for 3 people)

The hotel is in the prime central location of the city. The subway line is literally right outside the front doors which is so convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding. The room was great overall as well as the bathrooms. My only dislikes was that the outside of the rooms smelled awful, but it never reached inside the rooms and that the shower window was lousy letting water onto the floor of the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the old style renovation. Pictures for this historic hotel were very accurate. We got an upgraded room which was larger than normal. Loved the hotel history. It was about 2 blocks away from the actual tourist areas.

Very enjoyable stay. Entering this hotel truly feels as though you were back in the early 1900's. Excellent food and service. We had a very early flight, and they had prepared us a bag lunch..........very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. If only the air conditioning had worked properly, it would have been a "10".
