Medical spa stay

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A MEDICAL SPA STAY?

1.    Our medical spa treatments are based on natural traditions and resources in each country where we operate, ranging from natural mineral and thermal waters through to medicinal mud with a high sulphur content, spring or salt water and naturally occurring gases.

2.    After arrival, our guests are booked in for a consultation with one of our health spa’s experienced doctors to discuss their current state of health, their health complaints and any special requests they may have.

3.    Based on the results of the consultation, the doctor puts together a personalised treatment programme. With this high level of medical expertise, we combine the effects of our natural resources with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, body packs and medical massages, in order to achieve the best possible results. Depending on the degree of progress observed, the doctor may adjust or supplement the treatments.

4.    In addition to medical treatments, we also offer a wide range of relaxation and wellness treatments.

5.    If you come for an extended medical spa stay, when it’s time to leave our doctors will carry out a closing examination and give you personalised lifestyle advice.

To make the most of our treatments, we recommend medical spa programmes lasting 2-3 weeks.

This hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. The food is excellent. If you have a moment to pass, ask the desk manager about the history of the hotel.

Good: The historic look/feel of the hotel and the maintenance of the facilities. Bad: There was nothing I would change from my stay. Location Tip: The river Danube is only a few blocks away and there you can see the famous bridges, go to the castle and see other famous buildings. The hotel is located very central to everything. You are only a few blocks from the main shopping area and the river. You can walk to anywhere you want to go or see for the most part. The hotel is very well kept, great staff, clean rooms and a nice dining room / restaurant and bar inside the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and provided recommendations for places to eat, shop and made sure I had arrangements to and from the airport.

Good: SPA facilities are pretty good. And you can come there right from your room, wearing your robe and slippers. The garden around is big calm and green. Bad: It takes approx. 30 minutes to go to the nearest metro station from the Margitsziget island.

Good: Generally the hotel was well equipped and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the price was very good. The location, to the north of the city was very convenient for all the attractions on Margaret Island and also for Obuda, a fifteen minute walk away. Good public transport links meant that the rest of Budapest was fairly easily accessible - although it wasn't too far to walk to central Pest or even the Castle district of Buda. Bad: There wasn't much I didn't like, though there was an unfortunate experience in the TG restaurant where one of the waiters tried to overcharge. I can't recall any other unpleasantness in our week long stay.
