Employee of the Month – Ionut Herman

Today, we are proud to talk about somebody who has done a remarkable job and was nominated as our Employee of the Month for March 2018!

Here is a little more about Ionut Herman:

Ionut had a technical mind since he was a child. Whilst growing up on a farm, he developed a keen curiosity for all things engineering! As a teenager he was offered an opportunity to learn marine engineering but living in the midst of an ocean, away from land was not something that attracted Ionut, thus began his journey as a truck repairer and handyman in Greece. Shortly afterwards, he was selected as one of twenty students for a specialist car course in Scotland. It was during this time that he had a chance to visit London for two days. However, it proved to be love at first sight as Ionut had made up his mind that London would be his future home. Opportunities of proving his mettle soon presented itself in the form of a Shift Engineer’s career in hotels and today he is a proud member of the Danubius maintenance team.
In his private life, Ionut is highly passionate about fishing and boasts of a mammoth collection of fishing equipment. Ionut prides himself as a self-taught individual. His never ending curiosity and quest for learning has motivated him to continuously develop himself. In the future, Ionut plans to qualify as a professional electrician.
