Whether it is for a summer picnic, a winter stroll, \u00a0a theater play\u00a0or\u00a0concerts we\u2019ve got you covered with our guide to the capital\u2019s most lovely parks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Regents<\/p>\n

Well we could not start with another one but\u00a0<\/b>Regents Park<\/strong>\u00a0as you pretty much only need to cross the street\u00a0to enjoy this royal park. Home to the London Zoo, the Open Air Theatre, Taste of London or many other events, it is also the largest outdoor sporting area in London, and house to\u00a0over a hundred species of wild birds.<\/p>\n

\"Primrose<\/p>\n

One of the most significant parks for the English literature and the second closest sites to Danubius Regents Park\u00a0is <\/span>Primrose Hill<\/b> – \u00a0only a 15 minute walk through\u00a0Regent’s Park from our hotel, or alternatively a 5 minute bus ride to Primrose Hill stop (bus 274). From there, you\u00a0will get the nicest view of the London skyline. It is a great place to go for a short walk but also to have lunch or diner in one of the lovely restaurants and shops in the neighborhood.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Hampstead<\/p>\n

One of the largest park in London, <\/span>Hampstead Heath <\/b>is not that from from us and is loved not only for its wildlife but also for the accessibility and possibility for recreational and sportive activities. \u00a0Good to know that it actually is the highest point in London (245 meters) and from the top of the hill, if the weather is clear, you can enjoy a nice view over all London. There is a zoo, an athletics track, an education centre, extensive children’s facilities and three swimming ponds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Hyde<\/p>\n

Perhaps one of the most central and famous parks in London, <\/span>Hyde Park<\/b>\u00a0(also known for Hyde Park Corner), is at a junction of\u00a06 major roads: Park Lane, Piccadilly, Constitution Hill, Grosvenor Place, Grosvenor Crescent and Knightsbridge. This truly central principal area is a quick bus ride away (bus 82) from Danubius Regents Park. You can find almost 20 monuments, fountains and memorials, including Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.\u00a0There are also two restaurants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"St<\/p>\n

Not always mentioned\u00a0St. James Park<\/b> is actually a superb location in the middle of busy London. Take a break in this luscious park and indulge in the greenery. It is surrounded by three royal palaces – the Buckingham Palace, The Mall and the Horse Guard Parade. In the heart of ceremonial London, this green escape is the oldest of the Royal Parks. If you\u2019re lucky enough you just might see one of the famous pelicans wandering around. Simply take the Jubilee line to Green Park, 2 stops from the Danubius Hotel.<\/p>\n

\"Kew<\/p>\n

A bit further out of the city, the royal botanical gardens,<\/span> Kew Gardens<\/b>, are world renowned landmark to see. It is the largest collection in the world of living plants, and one of the world\u2019s largest herbariums. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is nearly 300 years old and is\u00a0an incredibly significant institution for botanical and biological research. The park hosts many events for everyone and offer many\u00a0options to dine, have fun or simply enjoy the nature. \"Richmond<\/p>\n

Last but\u00a0not\u00a0least, Richmond Park <\/b>is located a stop away from Kew Gardens and\u00a0<\/b>is a cyclists dream with lots of paths, including easy plateaus and more challenging routes. It is also home to over 650 free roaming deer, the biggest reserve of them in London, and beautiful views. This royal park is an hour away by public transportation or a 40 minute drive from the hotel. It’s a National Nature Reserve, and part of the Royal Parks. Kids will enjoy horseback riding, kiting and playgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n
