Summer is on its way and we are all looking forward to this coming bank holiday weekend.<\/p>\n<p>If you are travelling to London, with friends, family or on business, here is what you could do:<\/p>\n<p>First of all, for every single Londoner, <strong>August Bank Holiday weekend<\/strong> means only one thing: <strong>Notting Hill Carnival<\/strong>!! This is probably one of the most famous events in the capital and actually the biggest street festival in Europe! So you have no excuse, it is something to experience at least once in a lifetime!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.danubiushotels.com\/en\/london-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/4956035144_76ae137b3e_b-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Notting Hill Carnival\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Carnival starts on Sunday at 9.00am with what we usually call &#8220;Children&#8217;s Day&#8221; and runs until Monday evening 7.00pm. The celebrations of the capital&#8217;s Caribbean community take place in West London, from Notting Hill to Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park. The Big Parade with its amazing colors and fantastic live music is on Monday. Make sure you check TFL website for travel updates as\u00a0few bus routes and tube stations might be disturbed. Everything you need to know is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/things-to-do\/notting-hill-carnival-information\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>\u00a0and do not hesitate to ask our Concierge is you need anything else.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to be trapped in the crowd and take it easy, then simply head to <strong>Liverpool Street<\/strong> and one of its most iconic Pubs, <strong>The Water Poet<\/strong>. Only a few minute walk from the station, this English Pub is having a <strong>Cider Festival and Hop Roast<\/strong> for the Bank Holiday Weekend. You will find in the backyard barn specialist apples brews for only a fiver, hop roast and also a music band.
