This popular annual event sees participating shows offer one child aged 16 and under per paying adult to see the performance for free, and up to two extra children can go for half price with no booking fees.\u00a0Various theatres will also be organising free activities and events on stage and backstage, including puppet-making classes, storytelling, young writers workshops and more.\u00a0A truly inspired summer treat for families!<\/p>\n

Suitable for children over the age of 10, Up at The O2 is an exciting 90 minute experience that takes you on a guided expedition over the roof of The O2 via a fabric walkway. Suspended 2 metres above the surface of The O2 roof, the walkway is 52 metres above ground level and 380 metres long.

For six weeks, between 22 July and 3 September, visitors will be taken back in time to a prehistoric world where they will come face-to-face with moving dinosaurs – including the towering Tyrannosaurus Rex.\u00a0Included in Zoo entry, is a trip via a time machine to the Mesozoic era (about 65 million years ago), where ZSL\u2019s tour guides will help visitors spot the dinosaurs and show them all about the important work ZSL\u2019s conservationists are doing to help prevent today\u2019s animals from becoming extinct.<\/p>\n

Dressed as Mary Poppins, the Qualified London Guide Amber Raney-Kincade takes families on walking tours of the City of London, inspired by the life and works of Poppins novelist PL Travers. Amber prefers to keep the exact details of the itinerary a surprise, but expect a trip to a London park, feeding the pigeons on the steps of St Paul\u2019s Cathedral, a view over the London rooftops and even the occasional song.\u00a0Singing is optional, but always encouraged!<\/p>\n

The total distance walked is less than a mile, so it\u2019s perfect for children and accessible for prams and wheelchairs. The tour runs most Saturdays for about 2 hours.<\/p>\n
