In order to enable the guests to rest and enjoy the health spa treatments offered under the most comfortable conditions possible, Danubius Hotels Group has been improving and expanding its services since 1972.
The slogan that promises: ”Danubius multiplies the guest experience” will be encountered at a multitude of locations over the course of the coming year. On the occasion of its anniversary, passers-by shall receive gifts of discounts and surprises. They have planned varied events for their anniversary year that intend to represent the diverse nature of the company. Danubius was founded 40 years ago, which has by now grown into Hungary’s largest hotel chain. It can certainly be stated that the 40-year-long story of Danubius, operating 46 hotels in 5 countries with 4313 employees, is an integral part of modern day Hungarian history. Danubius has not built its hotels around public spas, but developed its health-spa units in exclusive surroundings, adding other diverse services one-by-one. From the very beginning, Danubius has been an innovative company and a leader in the introduction of innovations; this has not changed since. In addition to the introduction of Medical Wellness, they were first in offering All Inclusive and Family Friendly services in Hungary (Hotel Marina). They were the first to have assigned their various hotel types under different brand names (Danubius Health Spa Resort, Danubius Hotels,
Classic Collection, the other members of the Danubius Group: Radisson Blu, Hilton), and have introduced a healthy cuisine option made of organic raw materials under the brand name Healthy Choice. Currently, the hotel company focuses on the cause of environmental protection within the framework of the Danubius Goes Green project.
