Good: Breakfast was awesome and location is right near the center of town. Bad: Bathroom was dirty when we arrived but they upgraded us into a bigger room. That bathroom was still dirty. No parking at the hotel, but paid parking near by.

Good: Amazing location- Big rooms with balcony and view- bed was so smooth- Hop on Hop off bus stop right infront Restuarents all in 50mtrs Walkable distance to most of the attractions Boad ride stop is near by as well. Bad: Check out time should be changed from 11am -12 noon. Its really really a big drawback.

Good: De locatie was midden in Boedapest, werkelijk fantastisch. Wel wat geluid, maar met het raam dicht, was het prima. We hadden een gezinskamer gereserveerd (2-persoonsbed + extra bed). Dit stond netjes klaar. Het personeel was super behulpzaam en aardig. Bad: De kamer had een stofzuigbeurt kunnen gebruiken.

Good: All the staff were very courteous and friendly, and my sister I enjoyed the breakfast! The room was clean and comfortable, and this is truly the best location -- within walking distance to so many sights, and lots of great places to eat nearby. Outstanding location with great service in a historic building in central Budapest. We were able to walk just about everywhere from the central hotel. Breakfast buffet was good with some traditional and local items.

Good: The location was amazing, we walked most places. The metro was located right outside the hotel for further attractions. Good: Veľmi krásny historický hotel. Izba bola prekrásna a po zavretí okien nebol vôbec počuť hluk ulice. Raňajky veľmi chutné a rozmanité. Je tam aj reštaurácia kde si môžte dať chutný obed alebo večeru. Poloha hotela je výborná. Asi 10 minút pešo od Dunaja. Jednoznačne odporúčam tento hotel.

Nice located and nice looking rooms. Relevant staff helps with everything. If you have car, dont park it to location that directed by hotel couse it s too expensive like 20 € a day. You can find cheaper than that like 7 € a day around great market. Check it from google maps.

Hotelul are o pozitionare excelenta. Se poate ajunge pe jos la principalele atractii din centru. Se afla la intersectia a doua bulevarde mari, iar in fata hotelului se afla statia de metrou si statii de autobuz in toate directiile. Toata zona se numeste Astoria, inclusiv statiile, deci este usor de identificat. Am stat intr-o camera de la etajul 5, cu vedere spre o straduta laterala, deci nu am avut probleme cu zgomotul, in schimb, pe partea cu bulevardele cred ca s-ar auzi destul de tare masinile de pe strada, desi geamurile sunt bine izolate

The hotel is stately and charming, and perfectly located for exploring Budapest. I booked it because of the neighborhood, and because of the relatively low price of the room. The Astoria was closed during Covid, and it seems that it is trying to rebuild its clientele. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside, though to be fair, I stayed in the newer rooms in the annex. For price, style, and location, it's hard to beat the Astoria. Laszlo, the manager, at the front desk, could not have been more helpful. Fekete, the coffee shop a few steps away on Muzeum korut, is one of the best I've found in Budapest.

Good: I love the grand old hotels full of history. The Astoria did not disappoint. Great location, within walking distance of much of the city, or lots of public transportation from which to choose. My room was great. 5th floor with a balcony, so had a great view of the city. I loved sitting at my table watching the world go by below. The room was still quiet even though the streets are busy below. The gentleman at check in was helpful, and supplied me with a kettle and coffee cups, as I like to make my own brew in the AM. The room was big with everything I needed. Bed was huge and comfortable. Lots of pillows. Bonus: The historical elegant Astoria Cafe co-joining the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at the Astoria and wasn't upset that I had to stay extra days since KLM kept cancelling my flight. :-) Bad: As is oftentimes the case with these grand old hotels, some of the fixtures or furnishing may be dated. I don't mind, as it's somewhat expected. One thing that did bug me at the Astoria was the odd art in the room and some of its decor that didn't make any sense. It seemed to be an Arabic theme of North Africa or similar? It would be so much more suitable and in sync if it was focused on the the amazing location of Budapest and this historical hotel.

Good: Acceuil agréable dans cet hôtel qui a une histoire. Chambre au 6ème, tant mieux, le boulevard reste assez bruyant et c'est moins perceptible en haut ! Good: Très bon emplacement, grande chambre donnant sur une rue latérale, plus calme que les chambres donnant sur le centre. Linge de lit propre, les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. A proximité il y a des fast-foods, un bar à bière et un restaurant chic avec une très bonne cuisine et un menu pour le déjeuner. Good: Great location and very comfortable room. I have stayed at so many hotels in North America and Europe, and Astoria hotel room has the best sound insulation. I can’t hear anyone around me and above me, though sometimes I can hear people in the corridor. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Good: The hotel has the old world charm and makes every effort to maintain it. I esp. loved the hotel floor corridor and the way the room doors are designed. the room itself is designed to give you a royal old world experience with beautiful layout and also had a small balcony!
