Good: The huge Deluxe Suite i've stayed is just amazing: it's on the top floor at the corner of this historical building, there are 4 big windows, 2 per side, walkable along a balcony with great view from the city, very spacious and the antique furniture are so cool! Another incredible thing is that the metro station Astoria exit it' right at the door of the hotel: it almost looks that it was made to connect the city to the hotel! So great and comfortable too. All the hotel staff speaks surprisingly a good italian. Bad: Internet connection wifi available for free just in the common areas. Should be provided for free in the rooms too.

We enjoyed a great stay. Staff was great, and they accepted our wish for privacy completely. No maids was barging into the room, after hanging the "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. Location is great, with only a few hundreds meters of walking distance to the River and busy streets. Hotel it self was quiet, and even thou we were so close to the city center, our room was "silent" from noise of traffic etc. We had a room, with no view, but since we only used it as a base, this was no problem.

Good: The hotel is in a wonderful location, close to the town and straight in front of a metro station (Astoria). We have taken the last minute Booking.com offer so we have paid really nothing for a very good hotel which is clean, comfortable and nice. Bad: We asked for a non-smoking room but we have received a smoking-one however there was not smoke smell so that was ok.

Good: Wonderful hotel: very clean and seems to be recently renovated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in a restaurant. Excellent location. Value for money indeed. Bad: Internet could be free ;)

Good: The location was perfect! We stayed in room 410 and it was large clean and very comfortable. I didnt want to leave the kingsize bed! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will def be back! Bad: Although there was a mini bar in the room there was no tea coffee facilities in room which would have been nice!

Good: Really nice stay here. The hotel has a genuine classical old-style feel to it and we were made to feel very welcome. We stayed 3 nights in a luxury double room for €170 which was excellent value. The only disappointment we had was the lack of a bath but being English i was too polite to go and ask if there was a room with a bath! There could have been so I really can't complain! Recommended.

Die Stadt ist wunderschön und das Hotel in einer wunderbaren lage das man jederzeit von A nach B kommt. Was besseres hätte uns gar nicht passieren können, super Lage. Morgens am Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend für alle was da auch wenn man als langschläfer zum Fühstück kam. ;) Wir kommen wieder, hatten sonnige (warme) anfang Nov. schöne 4 Tage für ein kurztrip übers WE war es genial. Also nur zum empfehlen !!

Mycket trevligt hotell, centralt läge trendiga butiker och restauranger med förträfflig mat

The hotel is at an amazing location. The front desk was always very helpful and everyone spoke English. They can plan your day for you and give you suggestions on where to go. Our shower-head was broken, when we let them know they fixed it immediately. Great service.

Good: lähellä hyvät ostosmahdollisuudet ja joen ranta Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Respan henkilökunta suunnitteli oheisohjelman lyhyen vierailun puitteissa, missä kannattaa käydä ja miten kohteisiin pääsee nopeasti. Kertoili henkilökunta vielä Tokajin historiastakin kaiken kiireen keskellä. Huoneet oli tilavat ja viihtyisät eikä vilkasliikenteisen kadun liikennemelu haitannut juurikaan. Aamupala oli suorastaan ylellinen ja 1800 luvulla rakennettu hotelli suorastaan huokui historian havinaa. Pienestä lisämaksusta saatu exclusive huone oli hintansa väärti. Henkilökunta puhuu hyvin englantia ja toiveet täytettiin täsmällisesti. Hotel Feature Tip: Kävelymatkan päässä kauppahalli ja ostoskatu.

Good: helpful staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, very convenient location We enjoyed staying in the hotel. All employees were very nice and did their best to help us with any question. Since our flight was early in the morning, a special breakfast was prepared for us. We appreciate it so much. Restaurant Tip: If you have any difficulties to choose a restaurant you would like to go, try to buy your food at any supermarket. It is cheaper, and you may taste different food. There are many different markets close to Astoria.

Danubius Hotel Astoria City Center is located just at the exit of Astoria metro station. Its very convenient and allows to travel around the city fast. It's also close to tram that travels around the city and bus that goes to the other side of Danubius river (directly to Gellert baths). Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. Breakfest is rich and tasty. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Budapest. It's a very good deal for the price.

Good: Everything! The staff was really nice and friendly, the room was cleand and large, the hotel is beautiful and is right next to a metro station. EXCELLENT quality/price ratio. Completely recommended for couples, just make sure you ask for the double bed :) Bad: Nothing!, But we noticed the breakfast was kind of expensive

Good: Room was very big with comfortable beds the breakfast was a nice way to start the day. even though we arrived very late in the evening, the staff was ready for us and recommended restaurants in the area which would be still open. the room was very big and clean and quiet. location was fantastic!

Good: Central location in the heart of the Pest side, clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff this hotel was incredibly centrally located on the pest side. it was within walking distance to most things we wanted to see and provided a great starting point for each day. the hotel has a great old feel, but with clean and comfortable updated rooms. the staff was very helpful, calling the airport for us to check on our lost luggage multiple times. we did not utilize any of the amenities, so can't speak to that, but great hotel overall especially for the price.

Een zéér chique hotel, met klasse! Moderne, pas gerenoveerde kamer. Badkamer met ligbad! Aparte wc-kamer. Geluidsdichte ramen : je merkt vlug het verschil, wanneer je even het raam openzet... Alles netjes, en vooral hedendaags. Dit laatste kan niet gezegd worden van het interieur van het hotel : hier is alles antiek, met marmer, echte stijl, echte klasse! Ontbijten in een gezellige stijlvolle ontbijtruimte, met een uitgebreid buffet. Het aanpalende restaurant is iets minder qua stijl en qua lekker eten... Als wij nog ooit eens terugkeren naar Boedapest, zal het zeker weer in dit hotel zijn!

Har været på Astoria 2 gange, og synes der er god value for money ! Det er et gammel 4 stjernet hotel fra før verden var af lave..., og historien omkring stedet er ikke uinteressant ! Under 2.verdenskrig tjente hotellet som gestapo`s hovedkvarter, og senere under den kolde krig, var det efterretningstjenestens hovedkvarter i en årrække ! Servicen er helt i Top, meget venligt og imødekomment professionelle personaler. Værelserne rigtig fine, og maden rigtig god ! Hotellet ligger pænt centralt, og har aldrig behøvet taxa, de gange jeg har opholdt mig her. 10 min. gang til det meste ! Bedste anbefalinger ! ( har ikke haft børn med ! )

Einfach phantastisch, dieses historische Hotel. Wer die Atmosphäre der KuK-Zeiten liebt ist hier bestens aufgehoben und wohnt in einer Sehenswürdigkeit. Nichts zu beanstanden. Service Top, Frühstück im historischen Cafe Astoria sehr gut, auch wenn keine Eierspeisen auf Wunsch bereitet werden. Rundum ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Würde ich einem modernen Hotel immer vorziehen. Direkt an einer U-Bahn Station und Straßenbahn direkt vor der Tür.

This is a beautiful hotel with an aristocratic atmosphere of the early XX century. In excellent condition with antique furniture in the lobby and in the room (or very good stylization). The only drawback was the TV the old model in the room, but this was not too important. Very polite and helpful staff. We did not order breakfast, however we were offered a complimentary coffee and a croissant. The location is also excellent.

Lovely 'old world charm' hotel. Slap bang in the middle of the city centre with easy access to everywhere. Room was very clean. Breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. The coffee and drinks bar kept true to the Edwardian style of this lovely old hotel.

The Hotel staff are incredibly helpful, they had double booked our room so upgraded us to a bigger suite. They were always willing to give suggestions and very friendly. The hotel room(s) were clean, comfortable and everything was very easily accessible. The only minor detail was that we would have liked to have an iron in our room for easy access but otherwise excellent service. Thank you for a great stay in Budapest!

酒店位置很好，在十字路口，樓下旁邊有間麥當勞，本身是一棟百年以上的老建築很有味道，房間該有的都有附，但並不會很大間，浴缸/吹風機/冰箱都有，屬於老式風格房間，雖不特別美但打掃也很乾淨，以價位來說很值得入住(不含早餐一晚40~50歐)，附近很熱鬧，餓了很容易找到吃的。因為是開車自助，從酒店至各景點都很近10~15分鐘都可達各景點。酒店附近有配合停車場(有折扣記得問酒店)，但建議停在酒店旁巷子內的人行道上，距離近且路邊停車費價格便宜，因為夜間是免費的(至早上8點都免費，可預先投幣後將停車卷放在車窗，就可以晚點起床取車，路邊最多可一次預投六小時停車。如果有機會再來，還是會想要考慮住此酒店。

Det finns bara gott att säga om detta ärorika gamla hotell. Bortsett från att vi valde att äta frukost på kafé utanför hotellet pga priset har vi inget att anmärka. Vi åt en middag på hotellet som var mycket prisvärd och gott. Miljön och läget är perfekt

Das Hotel besitzt gehobene Ausstattung, ist allerdings schon etwas heruntergerockt und in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Unser Zimmer war zu einer Seitenstraße ausgereichtet, wo früh morgens die Müllabfuhr den Glascontainer entleerte, wer keinen tiefen Schlaf hat dem sind Ohrenstöpsel zu empfehlen. Als Tipp: um den halben Block des Hotels gelaufen ist ein kleines, sehr gutes Restaurant mit guten Preisen.

Mycket tevligt hotell med fantastisk frukostbuffe. Tyvärr var sänglamporna inget att rekomenderaom man ville läsa. Det var mer mysbelysning, gällde för övrigt i rummet som helhet. Hotellet låg perfeckt i centrum.

Luksus hotel fem minutters gange fra gågaten og shopping distriktet i gamlebyen. Servicen på hotellet er overstrømmende og kan virke påtrengende, men på en hyggelig måte. Greie rom, kunne vært større på et slikt hotel. Knallharde madrasser, hotellet kunne ikke tilby annet enn ekstra dyne for å gjøre sengen mykere.

The Astoria is a great old lady. The hotel was built about 100 years ago and has the look and feel of that era. The hotel staff is very helpful and fluent in English, French and German. The location is near a metro stop and only two stops from the main train station (keleti station). The only negative is that the breakfast, while very good, is overpriced at 20 euros per person. The hotel provides complimentary coffee and a bread roll for breakfast and my wife and I ate at a bakery near the hotel each morning. You will not be disappointed if you stay at this hotel and the price is reasonable.

The Hotel staff are outstanding they where welcoming from when we arrived earlier than normal check in but showed us to our room on the fifth floor which was very very good for the cost ! Reception gave all help and advice required I left my new specticles on a hop on hop off bus and mentioned to the staff on my return I couldn't read without any it was late afternoon before bank holiday commenced they directed me to a shop who sold reading glasses and called the bus company whom called them to say a pair had been found and staff directed me to their head office on a Sunday where staff handed over my glasses what a great and unbelievable result and I cannot thank the staff enough, the hotel is lovely, restaurant food Excellant the long weekend was exceptional thanks to all and I will return to Budapest and especially this lovely oldie hotel well worth the visit and value for money., cannot recommend highly enough.

We were so pleased with our hotel. It was a super location right at a subway stop (although the subway wasn't running - the bus system was great). The room was large and comfortable. There were also restaurants and stores nearby.

Vi likte oss godt,vi fikk tilogmed en hel flaske champagne gratis fra hotellet da vi tilfeldigvis fortalte til resepsjonisten at vi hadde giftet oss et par dager i forveien.Meget behjelpelig personell,og dette uten at man trengte å tipse helt villt..,,disse var hjelpsomme av natur og ikke størrelsen på den tipsen de mottok-..Hvis det er noe med hotellet som skulle være negativt så må det være litt støy fra trafikk,men man er da i en storby så litt støy bør man regne med

부다페스트 주변 관광지와 생각만큼 가깝진 않습니다. 하지만 주변에 여러가지 편의시설이 있으며, 부다페스트 지하철에 익숙해진다면 시내까지의 접근성도 좋습니다. 가격에 비해 매우 뛰어난 서비스를 갖고있으며, 직원들은 매우 친절합니다.

Located very close to city centre, and only 5-10 mins walk to suspension bridge over the Danube. (but thankfully not so close as to be under water as the Danube was flooded when we were there.) Very helpful staff with excellent quality of English. (although the guy who stored our luggage for us expected a tip.)The room was superb with an excellent view of the city from our balcony. There is also a beautiful restaurant in the hotel which has won 2nd place in Hungary/Poland/Czech and Russia I think. Its very pricey for Budapest but average price of western restaurants and definitely worth splashing out when there. My only criticism would be you had to pay for wifi in the rooms but it was free in the reception area, which also had plenty of comfortable seating.

Jag har sällan känt mig så väl omhändertagen av hotellpersonal, byggnaden var otroligt vacker och restaurangen kan jag varmt rekommendera. Dessutom är det helt galet centralt.

Letar man efter fel så hittar man lite färg som saknas på toadörrens insida,men vad gör det? Servicen och läget är helt superbt.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het Astoria hotel. Het hotel bevindt zich op een ideale locatie in het centrum van het centrum. De metrohalte is letterlijk 5 stappen van de ingang van het hotel. Ideaal! Het hotel is statig en de algemene ruimtes zijn schitterend ingericht. Het heeft een klassieke uitstraling en inrichting. Persoonlijk houden wij hiervan en vinden dit veel meer charme hebben dan de moderne, strakke hotels. De bediening was zeer behulpzaam en servicegericht. Het eten in het MIrror cafe is heerlijk, echt een aanrader. Onze kamer was ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken (er lag zelfs een schoenlepel). De bedden sliepen echt heerlijk en de douche had goede waterdruk. Kortom een dikke aanrader.

Jättefint o trevligt hotell, nära centrum, Donau, saluhallen o Gellertbadet. Trevlig hjälpsam personal som beställde taxibilar, och guidade oss till trevliga ställen o restauranger. Sightseeingbussar "utanför dörren" Åker gärna tillbaka!

Przepiękne, romantyczne miejsce idealne na spędzenie rocznicy ślubu. To informacja dla Was Panowie ;) Wystrój zapierający dech w piersiach, ekskluzywne wyposażenie pokoi. Czułam się jak prawdziwa księżniczka dzięki mojemu kochanemu mężusiowi :)

Hotel: Von außen ein großer Schreck, hier könnte wieder etwas nachgepinselt werden. Innen dann die angenehme Überraschung. Sehr komfortabel, und recht nostalgisch eingerichtet. Man hört keine Nachbarn, das Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet (war bei mir im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen)! Die Straßen vor dem Hotel sind stark befahren, für jemanden der Ruhe gewöhnt ist trotz Schallschutzfenster vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Location: Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, man kann bequem zu Fuß überall hingelangen. Die U-bahn Station ist genau vor der Haustüre. Service: Sehr freundliches Personal! Man bekommt sofort alles erklärt und nachrecherchiert. Eintrittspreise, Veranstaltungen, Öffnungszeiten etc. Restaurantpersonal sehr aufmerksam. Food: Ausgezeichnet! Frühstücksbuffet eines der besten das ich jemals erlebt habe. Viele verschiedene Arten von Brot, Wurst, Käse, Salatbuffet, kleine Törtchen etc. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Für ungarische Verhältnisse jedoch etwas teuer. Room: Sehr sauber, keine Probleme. Sehr positiv sind die dicken Wände zwischen den Zimmern.

Hotel: From the outside certainly very 'venerable'. The night lighting compensated however for sure once still notwndige Fassadenrekonstruktion. Inside great, very clean, great breakfast room. The staff spoke English, you will find but also very good German speaking front desk staff, the also gladly informed touristic instructions gifts. Audience international. Location: Right on the metro access. The city via public transport (like we also) want to see, is the place! Service: Contrary to other Critiques: everything staff was friendly! Food: Top breakfast, with warm-shares, much fruit, salads, juices... And the ' Körnerfreunde ' their moneys worth Room: We had a deluxe room in the sixth floor, this (and because of the soundproof windows) we felt not by noise from the street troubled. Advice: We have this hotel through detours at a fair price and were completely contented. Again at any time!

Hotel: Die hotelanlage hat 5sterne und umfasst einen riesigen komplex in dem die royal suites nur einen kleinen anteil haben...die ganze palladium anlage(bavaro,punta cana und palace) ist einfach unbeschreiblich groß mit überragenden gartenanlagen...4pool bereichen und zahlreichen restaurantes von chinesisch bis mexikanisch für jeden ist etwas dabei und wer nichts findet ist selbst schuld.in den royal siutes sind die anlagen 3 stöckig und es gibt nur 3 blöcke.50..-51..-52..,es ist ausschließlich ein all inclusive ultra hotel wobei man in den royals noch einige extra leistungen hat. wie einen eigenen butler , pro woche eine flasche rum oder (wie gewünscht auch anderes)....,badeschlappen und bademantel, kalender und natürlich sagenhafte ausblicke aufs meer...die zimmer werden ihren 5sterne ansprüchen gerecht und sind noch zusätzlich mit couch tisch und 2stühlen ausgestattet sowie jacuzzi...wc und dusche sind getrennt. die altersklasse liegen von 25-55 würde ich sagen da in den royals keine kinder sind ist es ziemlich ruhig nur am pool läuft der bachata und merengue...also ein richtiger platz zum erholen auch am beach sind extra liegen mit polsterung und große betten...zu den nationalitäten deutsch,russisch,spanisch und amerikanisch sind die meist vertretensten länder. die anlage ist super geplegt und ichhabe bisher keinen müll rumliegen sehen. Lage: die anlage befindet sich direkt am strand playa bavaro und ist eines der schönsten strand abschnitte....sehr gepflegt...gleich rechts nebenan befinden sich kleine verkaufsläden die von einheimischen betrieben werden. auch im hotel gibts 2 ladenstrassen in dem man alles von a-z kaufen kann.vom flughafen bis zum hotell sollte man ca 45minuten planen...jenachdem wieviel hotels angesteuert werden.das einfachste nehmen sie sich ein taxi vom flughafen dann sind sie in ca 20 minuten dort und müssen nicht auf den bustransfer warten einfach abmelden beim veranstalterpunkt und los gehts....ca 25dollar sollten eingeplant werden.nachbarhotels sind links das occidental flamenco in dem auch die disco mangu ist..und links das carabella... Service: hilfbereit und freundlich ist jeder in den hotels das bringen die dominikaner auch so schon mit....wenn man probleme hat ist der butler sofort zur stelle und meist wird alles sofort gelöst...die zimmerreinigung ist bei den royals 2 mal täglich auffüllen der minibar sowie frische handtücher...der check in ist auch kein thema sehr schnell erledigt und der bell boy bringt die koffer aufs zimmer...ob deutsch,spanisch und englisch man wird immer verstanden, durch die ganze anlage fährt eine kleine bimmelbahn und ab 19uhr sogar 2 im 15 minuten takt...somit kommt man schnell von a nach b...in den royals hat man zusätzlich einen Kostenlosen waschservice..einfach abge´ben und nach 2 tagen hat man seine frisch gewaschene wäsche zurück, es sind 2 ärtzte vorhanden die einen 24stunden servise bieten...auch den internet servise hat man gratis in der lobby stehen 4 computer. Gastronomie: es gibt in dem ganzen komplex um die 10 restaurantes...von montag bis sonntag jeweils mit unterschiedlichen themenbuffets...auch spezial restaurantes gibt es, mexikanisch, italienisch, chinesisch und und und für jeden lecker schmecker was dabei für royal gäste gibt es spezial das royal gourmet wo es sonntags lobstar gibt...die qualität ist überall super ob essen oder getränke trinkgelder liegen zwischen 1-5dollar jenachdem ...ob sie zufrieden waren.es ist jedem selbst überlassen.in den royals gibts nachmittags 16.00 immer noch speziell törtchen und schokopralinen für die süssen...und in dem kühlschrank in der lobby joguhrt,sandwiches,salate und immer was zu trinken. Sport: das ganze palladium bietet eine menge unterhaltung abends immer 2 verschiedene shows in unterschiedlichen theatern...dem merengue theater und dem sunset theater neben dem sich eine disco befindet die ab 11bis 2uhr offen ist solange fährt auch die bimmelbahn...in den royals gint es keine animation...,man ist ungestöhrt und kann denn ganzen tag relaxen...wenn es einem überkommt geht man einfach im palace zur animation von volleyball bis boccia...es gibt einen riesigen sportplatz wo man tennis ,bogenschiessen , fussball und baketball spielen kann. nicht zu vergessen schach mit riesigen figuren.das meer ist unbeschreiblich klar einfach wie man es sich vorstellt in der karibik türkis leuchtend, ein traum....sonnenschutz sollte man um die 30 nehmen zumindest am anfang und die mittags sonne um 12-14 uhr meiden denn die ist echt gefährlcih...aber die sonnenschirme aus palmenblättern sind ja vorhanden und das nicht zuwenig...duschen sind auch überall vorhanden.handtücher kann man nehmen so viel man möchte so ist der service echt super.hut ab...an der poolbar ein sekt geschlürft auch kein thema und im whirpool relaxt man kann es sich nur gut gehen lassen...es gibt auch ein speziellen spa bereich mit sauna ,fitnesscenter und massagen... Zimmer: vorhanden sind klimaanlage, balkon oder terasse mit stühlen und tisch,minibar mit erdnüssen und getränken,kafeemaschiene mit kaffee und tee, jacuzzi und dusche, wc,neu moderner föhn, 3 spiegel,der safe ist kostenlos und einfach zu bedienen,keine geruchs oder lärmbelästigung,eine couch und 2 satühle drinnen sowie ein gigantisches bett,tv mit verschiedenen programmen sowie ein dvd player...dvds beim butler erhältlich, dann noch ein radio mit ipod ansteckteil echt super, hädtücher wechsel 2 mal täglich, echt ein wahnsinn Preis/Leistung: touren werden meist vom reiseveranstalter angeboten, santo domingo ist empfehlenswert diese stadt boomt...ausserhalb gibts discotheken :mangu(eintritt ca 6dollar ein geträk frei -areito -pacha(günstiges bier 70peso)- monte christo also für jeden der auch mal ausserhalb etwas unternehmen möchte ist etwas vorhanden...mitnahmetipps insektensprays speziell gegen mücken und etwas gegen erkältungen sollte man immer dabei haben, die deutschen handys funktionieren auch super nur sollte man keine gespräche entgegen nehmen da es echt teuer werden kannm doch mit 50cent pro sms ist man gut dabei um daheim mal hallo zusagen.ich finde den mai eine super reise zeit nicht zu warm und abend bis 18uhr hell...

Hotel: Das 4-Sterne Hotel Astoria verfügt über 138 klimatisierten Standard und Superior Zimmer, die auf 6 Etagen mit Nebenflügeln verteilt sind. Das sehr altehrwürdige Hotel wurde im Jahre 1914 an der Stelle der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauern erbaut und würde zu letzt im Jahre 2006 sehr schön renoviert. Man kann die Stimmung der Jahrhundertwende in diesem Hotel noch spüren. Neben dem Hotelbetrieb verfügt die Traditionsherberge über ein Restaurant und ein Café (Mirror Café & Restaurant). Das Hotel gehört zu der Danubius Hotel Gruppe, die vorallem in Ungarn und den angrenzenden Ländern vertreten ist. Die Gästestruktur war während unserem Aufenthalt sehr international. Vorallem Reisegruppe aus Asien, Spanien aber auch Gäste aus Italien, Frankreich, Schweden, Norwegen und Deutschland. Der Alterdurchschnitt lag gut über 45 und älter. Sehr wenig jüngeres Publikum und Kinder. Location: Die Lage des Hauses ist für eine Städtreise sehr gut. Die U-Bahnstation Astoria (Linie 2) liegt direkt am Hotel, mehrere Bushaltestellen bzw. Tramhaltestellen erreicht man nach max. 2 min Fußweg. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einige Restaurants und zur Haupteinkaufsstrasse der Vaci ut und zur Donau sind es knapp 5-8 min zu Fuß. Wir haben vom Hotel bis zum Flughafen Ferihegy 1 genau 50 min mit Fußweg zur Metrobahnhof der Linie 1, Metrofahrt (Linie 1 bis zu Köbanya/Kispest) und Busfahrt (Linie M200) benötigt. Service: Das Hotelpersonal vom Zimmermädchen über Restaurantpersonal, Page und an der Rezeption war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und zu vorkommend. An der Rezeptition war neben englisch auch deutsch kein Problem. Food: Wir hatten nur das Frühstück in Anspruch genommen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung für ein 4 Sterne-Hotel. Die Speisen in Büffetform waren frisch und wurden auch immer wieder vom sehr freundlichen Personal nachgefüllt. Es gab ein recht großes Kaffeeteilchen, Kuchen- und Tortenbüffet. Die Torten waren sehr lecker. Es gab auch eine kleine Bioecke mit Salaten. Jedoch gibt es was zu bemängeln.... der Kaffee war nicht besonders und die 3 Sorten vom Saft, waren auf der einen Seite nicht richtig zu identifizieren und schrecklichstes Konzentrat. Muss man ja nicht trinken! Der Preis pro Person für das Frühstück beträgt 14 Euro. Room: Wir hatten ein Standardzimmer im Nebenflügel des Hotels zur ruhigen Strassenseite hin. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert und sehr sauber. Es verfügte über schalldichte Fenster, Telefon, Farbfernseher mit deutschen Programmen und PayTV, einer Minibar, einem Zimmersafe und Infomaterial über Budapest. Das Bad mit Badewanne war auch sehr sauber und verfügte über Haartrockner, jedoch wurden bei der letzten Renovierung die Fliessen an der Wand nicht erneuert. Dadurch wirkte es schon ein bißchen alt und verlebt. Die Superiorzimmer sind meist zur Hauptstrasse hin und können bei offenen Fenstern sehr laut sein. Sport: nicht vorhanden Advice: Wir waren im Oktober 2007 für 4 Tage in Budapest und hatten super geniales Wetter für einen Städtetrip 18-20 Grad und Sonnenschein. Man sollte, nicht so wie wir die Badesachen vergessen und einen Besuch in einen der vielen Heilbäder machen. Sehr schöne Bäder... Kurzer Tip zum Hotel: Die Internetkosten im Hotel sind recht hoch. Für 30 min. verlagt das Hotel 1000 HUF. In der Nähe gibt es Internetcafé, wo man kostengünstiger (z. B. 1 Std. 300 HUF) surfen kann.

Hotel: In dem 4 Sterne Traditionshotel kann man die Geschickte atmen. Das Hotel und das zugehörte Café wurden am Anfang des 1900 gebaut. Internationales Publikum. Wir haben ein Paket auf der Webseite des Hotels gebucht: 3 Nächte mit Frühstück, Transfern und 2 Malzeiten für 192 p.Person. Das Hotel gehört zu Danubiohotelkette. Location: Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkt an die U-Bahn Haltestelle Astoria, in der Nähe von der judische Stadviertel. Einkaufmöglichkeit und Gastronomie alles in der Nähe. Für 2 Tage haben wir uns die Budapest Card gekauft eher für die Rabatte (Stadtführung) aber man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Da wir von und zum Flughafen ein Transfer gebucht haben, können wir nur sagen, daß in Budapest viel viel Verkehr gibt. Deswegen frühzeitig losfahren. Service: Freudlich und hilfbereit waren alle. Es wird Deutsch und Englisch gesprochen. Zimmer sind schön und rennoviert. Food: Frühstückbuffet war klasse mit alles was man braucht und wird immer geprüft, ob was fehlt und ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir haben in dem Resto 2 Mal Abend gegessen: es war alles sehr lecker und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gab sogar Klaviermusik in Hintergrund. Die Getränkepreise im Resto sind fast wie in D. Room: Die Zimmer sind frisch rennoviert mit allen Confort (Minibar, KA, deutschsprachige TV-Programme, Safe , Telefon etc.). Sauber, gute Betten, große Badezimmer, vielleicht ein bisschen hellhörig wir haben den Wekcer von dem Nachbar gehört. Aber obwohl direkt an einer Kreuzuing steht, haben wir nichts von den Strassenverkehr gehört. Sport: nicht vorhanden Advice: Nicht zu verpassen ein Besuch an das Parlament. Mit deutschesprachige Führung (11 uhr) kostenlos für EU Bürger. Und natürlich Buda, die Promenade an Donau, ein Besuch in einem der Bäder ist empfehlenswert. Stofftüte, eigenes Handtuch mitnehmen und es geniessen. !!NO FKK!!
