Good: right at metro station and near bus stops; close to Váci Utca for eating out, walking distance to downtown shopping and lots of sights. Bad: Hairs on bathroom floor but otherwise excellent.

Good: The room was very pleasant. We had a big wardrobe for our clothes, a fridge for food we bought and a big bed, which Is perfect for married couples as it does not have two mattress, which we don't like. The bathroom was quite good. Without a window and a bathing tub as a shower, but it was very good. We did not book the breakfast and only added it on our last day. It was okay but nothing really special. The hotel was in a very good place. We took the bus from the airport on our arrival and it stopped directly in front of the hotel. It is located directly in the centre of the city I would say, you can easily walk everywhere you want in just a few minutes. So perfect for people who are there for a short city break. All in all, it was very convenient staying there. The staff was very nice and helpful! I cannot say something really negative about our stay.

nous revenons de Budapest - excellent séjour. l'hôtel est très bien situé : métro, tram et bus au pied de l'hôtel. Très beau cadre, chambre très propre et nous avons très bien mangé (pdj et repas du soir). Je recommande vivement. Les employés sont très sympas et le Mr qui nous a reçus le samedi à 02H00 du matin (cause avion 2H00 de retard) a été très compréhensif et très accueillant.

4 von 5 Punkten. Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme und strahlt noch deutlich die K&K_Ära aus. Überall Marmor und eine tolle Stille im Inneren. Die Sauberkeit und auch die Technik war jetzt nicht so prima und nicht vergleichbar mit modernen 4 Sterne-Hotels. Auf Nachfrage war die Servicekraft aber sehr hilfsbereit, das muss man schon sagen. Die Lage ist megazentral, es geht alles zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn, bedeutet aber auch, dass man nachts nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen kann. Das Buffet ist ganz gut, der Kaffee ist lecker. Vllt. würden wir es wieder nehmen, aber es müsste sich preislich anpassen.

Good: The location of the hotel is just excellent: right in the heart of the busy city. Although the hotel is in the city center, the rooms are very quiet and peaceful. In the nearby you can find restaurants of different type, playgrounds, bars, famous buildings and landmarks. We loved to take quick evening strolls just to to breath in the atmosphere of the city. and our daughter enjoyed to watch the traffic from the window, so everybody got his/her heart's desire fulfilled :) The hotel's restaurant is just beautiful and the dishes are tasty. Bad: In the description it was written that there is a pool in the hotel. When we asked about it, it turned out that it is not located in the hotel's building but you have to travel to a different place to use it. It was quite disillusing as we really counted on a good swim after dinner.

Good: L'emplacement central de l'hôtel est tout simplement parfait, á proximité de tout les transports, le Metro se trouve devant l'hôtel, les bus et le tram également. Le bus 100E qui fait la liaison aéroport centre ville a un arrêt devant l'hôtel. L'hôtel et son architecture typique de Budapest, sont superbe,avec tout le confort moderne ( une aile de l'hôtel a été rénové avec une décoration des chambres contemporaines) L'acceuil de nuit pour une arrivée tardive á cause d'un retard de vol, n'a posé aucun problème, avec en réception, la gentillesse et le sourire du personnel. (Avec des origines italiennes, il se reconnaîtra...). Si possible demandez une chambre qui ne donne pas sur le carrefour , qui reste bruyant malgrés le double vitrage, c'est le seul point á reprocher

Good: The hotel provides a very special feeling - like you are visiting Budapest in the 20th century. This is exactly why I picked the hotel, and it met my expectations. This is of course a double edged sword, so be ready to sacrifice some of the commodities that the newer hotels provide in exchange for the feeling of thematic history around you. The room is absolutely enormous, long, wide and with a high cieling Bad: The hotel could be cleaner, there were some old stains on the walls and carpets. There were signs of damage on the wooden elements in the room (like the table and armchairs) but this is probably because they are authentical and old. However, the bathroom is clean and the sheets are clean and u can feel comfy. The TV is small in proportion to the gigantic room, u can barely see the TV while laying on bed, and there were no channels in English (only one news channel) but this can also be seen as a positive because it drives you away from the modern stuff and makes you feel like you are staying in Budapest in the 1900s

Good: Lokacija apsolutno savršena. Sam centar grada, odmah ispred hotela je bila metro i autobuska stanica, menjačnica, restorani i brza hrana, sve je bilo na 30 sekundi hoda od hotela. Sve atrakcije Budimpešte su na nekoliko minuta hoda od hotela. Bad: Jedino saobraćajna buka centra grada koja je i do kasnih noćnih časova bila jaka, pa nekome ko na to nije navikao, može predstavljati problem pred spavanje. Jedan od dva ulaza u hotel i "izlog" hotela nisu uređeni, tj deluju zapušteno, pa stvaraju utisak da Hotel ne funkcioniše kako treba, što je apsolutno pogrešno.

Good: Location was amazing. Close to metro and within walking distance around the city. Due to covid they were not doing daily housekeeping but when we needed anything we only needed to ask and it was done. There was no kettle initially but on request we were given one with cups for our morning cuppa! The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The hotel had quite a retro feel about it, I almost expected Poirot to walk in! Bad: A lot of restaurants closed early, around 9pm and one evening we were a bit peckish after a night out and wanted a snack. Didn't expect cooked food or even a sandwich, but they couldn't offer any crisps or nuts either. Would of been so happy with a packet of crisps or bar of something even if it had been from a vending machine.
