Good: בשלושת הימים הראשונים שהיו ימי העבודה הייתי בחדר פרמיום שהיה חדר יפה בעיצוב חדש וצעיר עם קומקום חשמלי כולל קפה ותה. לאחר מכן עברתי לחדר שהזמנתי באופן פרטי לשהות של 3 לילות נוספים. מה שהזמנתי בהתחלה היה חדר קלאסיק ליחיד, חדר פיצפון עם מיטת יחיד בעיצוב מיושן וכבד שממש לא אהבתי ולכן שדרגתי לחדר זוגי בתוספת תשלום של 10 יורו ללילה שהיה הרבה יותר גדול, רק חבל שהשירותים היו נפרדים מהאמבטיה ולא היה קומקום חשמלי. ארוחת הבוקר ממש טובה ועשירה, הצוות אדיב, המיקום פגז, תחנת המטרו ממש ביציאה מהמלון, אפילו קוראים לתחנה אסטוריה. קרוב לשווקי הכריסמס, לואצ'י אוצה, לרובע היהודי ועוד Bad: עיצוב מיושן וזקן של החדרים והלובי. לא מקבלים יורו בכרטיס אשראי. מבחר ערוצי טלויזיה מאוד מצומצם, רובו בהונגרית. אי אפשר היה לפתוח קצת את החלונות שיכנס אויר, אלא רק את כל החלון. הוילונות בחדר היו שקופים כך שהיה צריך להוריד את התריס כדי להתלבש.

Good: Excellent location in the city centre. Everything very close. Attentive staff. Very nice hotel. Bad: Most of all I liked location, Hotel is very impressive and nice. Staff helpful. Worth the money. Only I can't find some facilities in the bathroom.

Micul dejun diversificat, gustos Bad: Geamurile cu izolație slabă, zgomotul de afară era deranjant, baterii învechite la cadă și chiuveta, apa caldă nu era constantă, oscila temperatura la extreme - când rece, când fierbinte!

Great location, next to the metro, bus, and tram station! Lovely, helpful stuff. They have a stunning old style cafe/restaurant. The only downside was that the room was dusty.

Good: The Astoria Citg Centre is a very comfortable and superbly located hotel within walking distance of many of the sights of Budapest. It is old world charm, very comfortable rooms, a superb breakfast and very helpful staff.

Good: The location was amazing, much better than we thought it would be. Very close to the city centre, all of the Advent locations. Very near you have a lot of interesting shops, brunch spots, speciality coffee and restaurants. Even though they don't have parking, there are parking options 2-3 min from the hotel.

Bad: I asked not to clean the room (because I don'tsee and necessity in changing towels every day), however when I came back to my room I saw that it was cleaned and the towels were changed

What a superb hotel - excellent location within easy walking distance of many of the attractions of Budapest. The hotel is elegant with very comfortable rooms, superb breakfast offerings , a lovely cafe and really helpful staff and I could not fault it.

I really want to start by saying that this is a very good hotel for several reasons: First of all, the rooms were very clean and smelled amazing. Also, the service was wonderful. Anytime we needed something, they came and helped us. The daily cleaning service was very good as well. Finally, the best part of this hotel is the location. Location is very important when you travel. The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the Astoria metro station (M2 line), and there are buses on the main road that can take you anywhere you need. About restaurants in the area: The hotel has its own restaurant, but unfortunately I didn’t try the breakfast. If you know you need breakfast, book it together with the room - the price difference is very big otherwise. In the area you also have Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Subway, and McDonald’s. also you can simply walk to the Jewish Quarter - it’s just across the road. There you will find many restaurants of all kinds. All the attractions are close, and for anything that’s a bit farther, you can just take the metro - it’s really close to everything, right in the center of the city. I realy recommend on this hotel!

Good: We upgraded the room before we arrived and glad that we did. It was a little more modern than the older rooms with a lovely big walk in shower. I think the rooms were slightly smaller but there was plenty of space for a table and chairs and lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was good although they did run out of smoothie every morning after about 8.30am. Great location for buses, trams, underground and walking. Bad: My only negative was the smell of drains from time to time in the bar area. We came back for a drink one night and it was so bad we never came back again. The drains smell seems to be a problem all over Budapest but I have a sensitive stomach and didnt want to sit in that smell for a drink.

La ubicación MAGNIFICA se puede ir a pie al centro y también muy buen acceso a la red de transporte públicos, que para los mayores de 65 años es gratuita! La salida del metro2 está prácticamente en la puerta del Hotel a dos paradas de la estación central de tren. Tranvías y ómnibus a dos pasos. Bad: La televisión por cable resulta obsoleta y hace que el televisor esté ubicado en un lugar incómodo para ver.

Good: We loved the location, the interior & the rooms. breakfast was very nice. Reception staff were helpful & attended to an issue that we raised & resolved it promptly. Food & coffees were very good in the restaurant/ cafe. Bad: We were not impressed with the room attendants. Our rooms weren’t cleaned & the attendants were not friendly or approachable. Two attendants were talking to each other for quite some time in the hallway. The pillows were not comfortable. Recommend that take away cups be available to take coffee from the cafe to the rooms.

Good: Es handelt sich um ein Hotel, das schon 1914 erbaut wurde - ein Flair, das man heute noch spürt (man fühlt sich teilweise - im positiven Sinne - in die Blütezeit der Monarchie zurückversetzt, besonders im prachtvollen Restaurant/Frühstücksraum und Café)! Ein so köstliches und reichhaltiges Frühstück hatte ich selten (es gibt u.a. superleckere, verschiedene kleine Brötchen). Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet (nahe zum Bahnhof und zu touristischen Zentren), auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Im Zimmer gibt es u.a. auch einen Wasserkocher mit Tees und Instant-Kaffee, was mir bei Geschäftsreisen immer wichtig ist. Ich hatte extra ein ruhiges Zimmer (nach hinten raus) angefragt, was sehr gut geklappt hat. Bad: Die einzige Kleinigkeit, die ich zu beanstanden habe, ist, dass das Wasser in der Dusche nicht gleich warm wurde (erst nach einigem Warten) und dass die Shampooflasche klemmte (sie konnte auch nicht abgenommen werden, weil sie diebstahlsicher in einer Vorrichtung an der Wand verschraubt war).

Good: Perfekt placering, super sød personale som er hjælpsomme og smilende. Alt lå tæt på, og de fleste ting på gåafstand. Behagelige senge, og værelserne fra store. Bad: De gjorder ikke vores værelser rent dagen efter, så der var derfor ingen håndklæder mm. Deres tæpper i værelset er gamle og beskidte, trænger til en udskiftning da værelset ellers er perfekt. Vil nok ikke anbefale deres morgenmad, virkelig lille udvalg, og meget kedeligt.

No, i found a little pill on the floor

We stayed three nights and on arrival the staff were very helpful and arranged a bottle of champagne as a surprise for my husband. Would've been nice if it was a lot colder than it was. Çleaning was done daily, even the towels, which was a surprise as we didn't ask for them to be changed. Didn't use the air-con as it wasn't needed. Hotel is central and has an underground practically at the front door. Amazing tram and bus system, although a bit confusing for me!

Easy check in room was large single bed was a bit uncomfortable

Bad: La pulizia forse poteva essere migliore, entrambi i giorni abbiamo trovato dei capelli neri nel bagno (io sono pelato e la mia ragazza è rossa), le poltrone datate un po' impolverate.
