Good: Best location, good breakfast and a friendly and helpful staff. The place is very clean and the room is comfy ans specious. Bad: Our room faced the main street which meant that there was little noise/sirens entering the room.

Good: The hotel was well located for the Metro and walking to the main tourist sites. The food was decent relative to the usual local food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bad: All fine really.

Our family of 3 have had a great time to stay in central location in Budapest. Close to bus stop from Airport, close to Metro. Walking distance to many attractions. Hotel is beautiful interior, beautiful friendly and professional personal. Lovely breakfast. Big and comfortable rooms. We have no issues during our stay in February. Only positive feelings.

It was clean, warm, comfortable. Can't find fault Bad: Nothing particularly, it's a bit old so might not suit those looking for an ultra modern high end hotel. But it was extremely good value

Good: Hotel Danubius Astoria exceeded our expectations ! We were group of 20 person…and all off us with no exception thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The breakfast included was delicious with great selection! Receptionists Ester and Daniel, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their warm welcome, as well as of Gabor added to the charm of this wonderful Hotel. Very good location in the heart of Budapest. Most attractions in walking distance. Subway station just by the hotel (same name like the hotel “Astoria”) The room furniture a bit simply, but the lobby and the restaurant and all common areas are beautiful.

Good: Ligging ,alle openbaar vervoer dichtbij. Alles is goed. Mooi hotel,leuke bar en goed van eten. Er was brandalarm en we mochten de dag erop gratis een lichte lunch eten. Echt een aanrader. Bad: Niks

Good: Loved the location and also the room was very quiet despite the central location. Staff were really nice and the room was immaculate clean and warm even if it is an old building. The bed was very comfy and had a mini balcony and plenty of light and fresh air. There is an aldi a few doors down and even a Tesco, the metro is right next to the hote. The hotel cafe is gorgeous and 100% recommended (did not have breakfast but would have loved to). I loved the building character and how they left everything as it is. Bad: We did not have any toiletries such as mini toothbrushes, however this was not a big deal. There is not kettle or tea/coffee, maybe because of the building age. Lots of cafes nearby to be enjoyed though :) Would have been nice to have some bottles of water in the room on arrival but the aldi next door saved the day.

Good: Good location, spacious rooms, tidiness. Metro station is very close, and you can easily walk to the center. Rooms are spacious and tidy and the breakfast is also good. Bad: The cleaning lady threw away our rain cover for baby stroller. There is no access to the hotel for baby stroller. The hotel recommends you the garage for 25€, but very nearby is also a garage for 10€.

We really loved the location, cleanliness and friendliness of this hotel. The cafe/restaurant being on site is incredibly helpful. It’s truly in the middle of everything! They don’t offer room service as it’s stated but that wasn’t too big of an issue.

Good: L'hôtel de style art déco, très bien situé. Le personnel sympathique et professionnel. La chambre et les prestations étaient conformes à ce qui nous était proposé lors de la réservation. Très bon emplacement.

Good: The hotel room was beautiful, modern and clean. The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out as we had a late flight. The hotel is in a great central location close to major sites and the metro. Bad: The blinds in our room didn’t work so we slept with no blinds on the first night but once we reported it was fixed the following day after we reported it to reception.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The location and the staff are fantastic, the breakfast service (although not included in the room booking) is full and complete. The check-in service is 24/7, so it is really helpful if one has three necessity of a late check-in.

Good: Excellent location in the city centre. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, along with a clean and spacious room, made for a great stay. Although the main roads outside were busy, the noise of the traffic did not impact our sleep. I would highly rate this hotel and will definitely use it again. P.s. the lobby photo was the adjoining sitting room, which was a great addition, and we were grateful for it.

Bad: Lo unico por lo que no le pongo un 10 es porque el ultimo dia, el personal de limpieza de la habitacion no cambió las toallas y la cama solo estiró las sabanas de mala forma, algo que pienso que no es compatible con el prestigio de ese hotel.

The hotel is amazing so regal with a great atmosphere. We couldn't fault it at all, we had breakfast and a couple of evening meals which were all excellent, great cocktails too and good value. The location is fantastic everything within walking distance and the airport bus stops right outside. Would definitely recommend this hotel all the staff were friendly and helpful speaking good English.

Good: It is a lovely historic building in a prime location, fully renovated. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, with tall ceilings, a superbly comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Food was very good too. Bad: One thing that needs improving is the ventilation in the common areas (lobby, restaurant, hallways). It was very stuffy, no air circulation at all. While in the room there were large windows for fresh air, no air was coming in from anywhere in the common areas.

Good: This was my second visit and it didn’t disappoint. I asked for a quiet room for my dad and that’s exactly what we got, and the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are very big! A friendly welcome and the housekeeping was done very punctually so if you wanted to come back to relax for the afternoon your room will be clean. The location is perfect, the Jewish quarter is on the doorstep with a brilliant selection of restaurants and bars, and there are at least two supermarkets in walking distance. I didn’t eat at the restaurant so I can’t comment on breakfast/dinner. Highly recommended. Bad: Nothing.

Good: The location was great! The cafe is good too, though the waiters seem really aloof. But all is good if you tip them. Bad: The international buffet was really repetitive (same foods every day) but it's subjective. Others might like it.

We loved the hotel and it is in a fantastic location, so we could walk to most places. The breakfasts were brilliant.

Dejligt ældre hotel med en nyere renoveret afdeling. Vi boede i den nye afdeling og det var ganske godt. Gode senge og dejligt bad/toilet. God rwngøring, selvom de tog alle håndklæder med hver dag. Også dem man ikke havde lagt på gulvet til vask. God service og god morgenmad. Ligger dejlig centralt.

Durch die zentrale Lage mit Straßenbahn/Metro und Bus, idealer Startpunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt. Sehr gute Küche mit landesüblichen Gerichten zu angenehmen Preisen .Zuvorkommendem Personal. Nicht zu vergessen das Hotel wurde 1914 eröffnet. Tolles Ambiente wenn man den Charme der Vergangenheit liebt und wirken lässt.

Lovely old hotel with wood panelling and fancy tea room. Beds are comfy and rooms warm. Enjoyed out stay.

We found parking on a street 2 blocks away. The parking meter didn't work properly. We asked the hotel staff what to do and they advised parking elsewhere; but, by the time we got back to the car 20 minutes later, we had a 200+ dollar parking ticket. The staff, food, decorum, etc., were all lovely within the Danubius Hotel Astoria.
