Čtyřhvězdičkový hotel v centru Budapešti

The hotel was clean, had friendly staff and we were able to store our luggage on our day of arrival since we arrived at 10am. We also stored our luggage when we checked out since the airport hotel check in wasn't until 3pm. Breakfast had a nice variety of items. The coffee machine made cappuccinos, lattes, and a variety of other coffee drinks. We had a balcony in our room and the room was clean and spacious. The location is great and the metro, trams and buses were just steps from the hotel. We would stay here again when visiting Budapest!

Good: the room was clean and very specious Bad: it was clean but honestly the mate could do a better job. the we’re done hairs in the bathroom which where not mine :) or I asked for room cleaning, so they changed the towels but didn’t put ant shower gel in the shower

Good: Excellent facilities, rooms are large, excellent position, comfortable beds and pillows, clean sheets. Bad: The hotel was renovated last time about 20 years ago and the armchairs and carpets are shabby. The vacuum cleaning of the carpets was not done very well.

Good: Csodás hotel, remek elhelyezkedés, gyerekkel fontos volt hogy közel legyen a metró... hát ennél közelebb már bajosan lehetett volna❤️, választékos reggeli, remek kávé, nagyon kedves személyzet és olyan csendben takarítanak mintha nem is léteznének 👏.....egy szóval remek választás Bad: Parkoló hiánya (bár az utcán hétvégén ingyenesen lehet parkolni de találni szabad helyet alig ha, viszont rengeteg föld alatti parkoló van körülötte szóval nem volt gond)

Good: Das Frühstück war sehr gut, allerdings hätte ich mir mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Die Lage war perfekt, da die u Bahn direkt vom Hotel startet. Die außergewöhnliche Ausstattung des Hotels. Good: Fantastic location next to metro station and bus from airport. Nice decor with a classic, grand feel to it. Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable as was the bed. We would stay here again. Bad: Tea and coffee making facilities in room would be a welcome addition. There was no soap for washing hands in bathroom, I asked at reception and they gave me some but said it was their own private soap and that they didn’t provide soap for guests (which seemed a little odd as they provided shower gel and shampoo).

Good: Ubicación excelente. El autobús del aeropuerto te deja justo delante del hotel. Habitación amplia, con techos altos y buenos cerramientos. Bad: Por covid tenías que pedir la limpieza de la habitación con un día de antelación. La manguera de la ducha perdía un poco de agua, no pedimos cambio porque íbamos a estar pocos días.

Good: Das Haus liegt hervorragend in Budapest, fast alle Attraktionen der Stadt sind entweder zu Fuß oder nach kurzer Fahr mit Bahn oder Bus erreichbar. Astoria Hotel gibt es schon über 100 Jahre, man merkt es dem Personal an, die sehr entspannt und souverän auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingehen können. Good: We had a big spacious room on the top floor. Location was great for sightseeing. Bad: There was no hand soap. We were told to use shower gel for washing hands. I found it weird.

Good: The hotel is centrally located in the city, The hotel is close to the Jewish Quarter. all major means of transport pass through the main axis of the hotel including a metro station. European atmosphere. The reception staff is professional and polite and pleasant. We got a room upstairs, we were a couple + a 9 year old boy. Good and tasty breakfast. A wireless internet network is active throughout the hotel area in a good way. We booked a taxi last night to the airport through the hotel. Arrived on time and at an affordable price. Bad: The rooms are cleaned every three days.

Good: Large rooms, big bathroom, decent breakfast, excellent location - right in the heart of the city, very friendly and helpful staff. Bad: A lot of traffic outside, but this was expected. Sound isolation was decent enough to keep most of the sound out.

Good: It is a magnificent hotel with a lot of history. Staff were really helpful and kind. The location of the hotel could not be better; it is right in the center of the city. Perfect if you need to be in the center. Room was quiet. Bad: There were some items in the bathroom that were not as high quality as the hotel itself. Other than that, it is a great hotel to stay at - especially if you like buildings with history and tradition.

Good: Schönes mittelgroßes Hotel im alten Stil der österreichisch-ungarischen Kaiserzeit. Dadurch hat es einen schönen alten Flair, den man in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Von außen wirkt das Hotel eigentlich relativ schmucklos, allerdings ist es innen um so schöner. Frühstück super, Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich. Zu beachten: Zimmerreinigung muss an der Lobby in Auftrag gegeben werden und passiert nicht von alleine! Bad: Badezimmertürstock nach einem früheren Wasserschaden unten aufgequollen, sollte repariert werden. Die Bitte, ein paar Postkarten (gegen Bezahlung) zur Post zu geben, wurde abgelehnt und auf einen Postkasten und den Kauf von Briefmarken bei einem Postamt verwiesen - so etwas sollte bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie zum Service gehören. Das alles waren aber Kleinigkeiten, die dem tollen Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch getan haben.
