Die Silikon-Fugen in der Badewanne müssten erneuert werden . Das Rührei war uns zu flüssig - war nicht ganz durchgegart.. Auswahl an Marmelade ( nur 1 Sorte in Plastik) zu gering.

Good: Prachtig hotel. Nette grote kamers. Goed ontbijt. Ligging is super. Overal te voet naar toe kunnen gaan. Centraal gelegen. Bad: Warm op de kamer. Verkeersgeluiden te horen bij open raam.

Good: Very historic with a classy restaurant that had wonderful food. Well located, near wherever you wanted to be Bad: No complaints. Everything was great.

Good: El Astoria es uno de los hoteles emblemáticos de Budapest, de hecho el metro y plaza que están cerca a él llevan su nombre. Ha sido una experiencia fantástica alojar en un pedazo de la historia húngara. Las habitaciones, el lobby y el comedor tienen un aspecto vintage hermoso. La pieza fue muy cómoda y el baño muy espacioso.

Very helpful staff. Great location with excellent transport links and walkable to lots of restaurants, bars and the river.

Good: המלון ממוקם במרכז, מעל תחנת התחתית אסטוריה, ארוחת בוקא מצויינת, מגוון גדול וטעים, מיטה מאוד נוחה, נענו לכל בקשה במהירות, ממליץ לבקש חדר הפונה לסמטה האחורית מכוון ששני הצדדים האחרים פונים לרחובות ראשיים ולמי שהשקט חשוב רצוי להיות מול הסמטה Bad: בלילה הראשון היינו מול הרחוב הראשי וכל הלילה שמעות צופרי משטרה ואמבולנסים, חוץ מזה הכל היה טוב

L'hôtel Astoria est un très bel hôtel de la belle époque avec beaucoup de charme. Lobby et salles de restaurant magnifiques. De plus l'hôtel est très bien situé en plein centre de Budapest juste à côté d'une bouche de métro. Malgré le décor extraordinaire prix du restaurant très raisonnable avec petit déjeuner très complet. Chambres confortables.

Good: The property interior is amazing, we couldn't stop taking photos of it. While the building from outside looks average, the public areas - lobby, restaurants, etc. have a grandiose early 20th century look. The room was comfortable and despite the hotel being located on the main street, there was not much noise. Breakfasts were very good and served in a great-looking ambiance. Wifi was good and fast across the hotel. The location itself is perfect, just next to the metro station, numerous buses and trams and in the night airport bus 100E stops just downstairs. Finally, if you like walking the Danube banks and most of the Pest attractions are within 15 minutes of walk. Bad: No complaints whatsoever.

Good: La amplitud, luz y comodidad de la habitación, junior suite, Bad: El personal no habla español, en general, salvo una mujer, Amín. Y son bastante secos.

Bad: Μείναμε στον 2ο όροφο συγκεκριμένα στο δωμάτιο 209 θα μπορούσαν παρότι το κτίριο είναι πολλών ετων να το έχουν πάντοτε φρεσκοβαμένο και τις ντουλάπες και τους τοίχους και να βάλουν πιο αρχοντικές κουρτίνες στα παράθυρα. Καλό θα ήταν να ήταν και λίγο πιο καλή ηχομόνωση από τα παράθυρα ιδιαίτερα γιατί υπήρχε αρκετός θόρυβος από τους δρόμους επειδή ήταν σε κεντρικό σημείο το ξενοδοχείο, η ιδιαίτερα τα βράδια. Ακόμα και αργά τη νύχτα. Όπου παρατηρήσαμε ότι κάνανε ακόμα και κόντρες διάφορα αυτοκίνητα. Γενικά αυτό που παρατήρησα ήταν ότι ήταν ένα πολύ καθαρό δωμάτιο, δεν είχαμε κανένα παράπονο από αυτή την πλευρά είχε εξαιρετικό πρωινό, απλά θα μπορούσε να έχει λίγο παραπάνω χρώμα στην παλέτα του μπορντό που υπήρχε αλλά υπήρχε λιγοστό, αυτό το μπεζ που δεν ήταν και φρεσκοβαμένο έπεφτε λίγο βαρύ στο στήθος. Απλά το δωμάτιο ήθελε λίγες αντιθέσεις πιο πολύ φως στους τοίχους και ζωήρες κουρτίνες.

Good: Very beautiful, comfortable, and clean hotel!

Good: Location for transport system around the city was extremely convenient. Excellent breakfast. Dinner in restaurant available each evening;as an older guest this was a great option after a busy day sightseeing. Resident pianist in restaurant added to the ambience of this historical hotel. Bad: Furniture in the bedroom a little tired. Tea and coffee facilities had to be requested.

Good: Location was fantastic, room very comfortable. Everything was very good Bad: The coffee in the coffee machine at breakfast wasn't the best but that's my only grumble!

Good: It was worth paying a bit more for the upgrade to a suite, it was very spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom with very powerful shower and hot water. We enjoyed the grandeur of the building and it's decor. Bad: Nothing really.

We had a very large room with high ceiling Bad: Since it's on a main road is a bit noisy . Also light comes in the room early morning. We don't mind waking up early so we didn't mind

I have just rated 4 for sleep quality because of traffic (we were on 1st floor). Anyway with great location comes the traffic I suppose.

We loved our stay. The room was excellent, and we loved the extensive breakfast. I wonder if there is a way to freshen up the reception area, while also maintaining its classic feel. What would make it feel a little more welcoming on first entrance? Perhaps increasing the lighting level just a bit would help. The furniture closest to the door is a little over-worn, but the couches further in were in better shape. The exterior doors were a challenge to open and close. We got used to it, but it is your first experience with the Hotel, so I think it would be worth the restoration dollars to make these doors easier to manage.

The receptionists were very helpful and professional. Good variate of breakfast, I just missed the baked potatoes . Thank you.

The old grandiose hotel with interiors that are very historical but yet very well maintained (do mot get misled by building exterior which indeed does not look so great). Location is perfect both for walking and public transport - the hotel has even metro station named after it.

Good: Lage unmittelbar an der Ubahn ist perfekt für die Erkundung der Stadt. Bahnhof Keleti (Richtung Wien) ist in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Expressbus zum Flughafen hält fast vor der Tür. Gutes Frühstück, Restaurant ist auch Abends für einen Besuch zu Empfehlen. Personal ist super und bemüht bei allem zu helfen. Bad: Gab nichts zu meckern.

We booked here as a package deal through jet2, great deal. Upgraded our room for a little cost. Hotel staff were great, very helpful and spoke English very well, helped with us. The old decor within the hotel suits the building. Our room was situated in the updated area, this is the only downside, the lift takes you to floor 2 but then you have to walk some distance to get to your room with a small set if stairs to get your large cases up. The breakfast was a buffet style and had plenty for all, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, porridge, yoghurt, continental breakfast and of course got food, please see pics of hotel and food. The outside of the hotel was quite dirty but that is down to the traffic on the main road. Idle access to the underground right outside the hotel. We walked everywhere though as wanted to see budapest. 10 mins walk to the closest ruin bar. 15 - 20 mins to the danube.

Great place to stay. Even when I had an issue with the shower the first night it was solved very quickly. Staff was excellent and very attentive.

Excellent classic hotel in a central location in Budapest, and right next to the Astoria underground metro station. ...and buy a chimney cake from the shop in the underground, so delicious and cheap!!

Très bien placé, beaucoup de charme et de classe. Selon moi, en tout cas.

Good: We konden ‘s ochtends al gelijk de kamers in, de kamers waren schoon, de locatie was perfect, alles was op loopafstand, de metro is voor het hotel en ook een standplaats voor OV-steps. Het hotel is zeker een aanrader! Bad: Alles was goed, behalve het ontbijt. Het ontbijt was matig-voldoende, er was niet super veel keuze qua brood en beleg. Maar wat er wel lag, was wel lekker.

Good: Wir bekamen zum gebuchten Preis eine ganze Suite. Es war exzellent. Bad: Astoria sollte seine Eingangstueren renovieren. Die sind sehr unpraktisch.

Good: Excellent location right on the Astoria stop. Classic hotel with historic interior. Excellent breakfast! Staff is great when we got stuck in another city, arriving a day late and accommodating our new booking. Wonderful stay.

AC was not cooling

Die Zimmer sind top! Modern, groß, sauber und mir gefällt der Ausblick! Das Treppenhaus ist allerdings nichts für Leute mit Höhenangst. Aber man kann sich ja auch ein Zimmer in den unteren Etagen aussuchen. Ich will auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!
