Good: Struttura centrale e piena di charme e storia (uno dei più antichi hotel di Budapest), metropolitana appena si esce dall’hotel. Camere silenziose e impeccabili a livello di pulizia. Personale attento e cordiale. Bellissimo ristorante e sala colazione. Bad: Colazione dolce veramente scarna mentre la colazione salata è piena di opzioni

Good: Všechno bylo vynikající.Velice čistý pokoj s pohodlnou posteli.Uklizeni každý den.Dobra snídani.Moc vstřícný personál. Určitě se vrátíme. Bad: Nemám co vytknout.

Good: Room was newly refurbished and very clean and spacious

Good: Lindo o hotel arquitetura belíssima. Bad: Dá suada dos carros e da claridade do quarto cortinas não escurecem o quarto.

Good: Edificio antiguo precioso, muy buena ubicación y bien comunicado, personal amabilísimo, limpieza de 10 Bad: Quizás faltaría una pequeña reforma por antigüedad

Good: Stilvolles, historisches Gebäude mit ganz viel k.u.k. Charme. War 1918 sogar mal Sitz des ungarischen Parlaments. Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht. Aber sowohl das Café tags wie das Restaurants abends besucht. Beides empfehlenswert. Hervorragende Küche und wunderbar oldschool livrierte Kellner. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht Englisch oder Deutsch, Zimmerservice top. Die Lage ist 1a. Ein Tipp für den Flughafentransfer: vom Flughafen kommend hält der Bus 100/E Haltestelle Astoria direkt gegenüber. Zum Flughafen hält der Bus aber nicht dort(!) Man muss ca. 300 Meter zum Deák Ferenc tér, wo der Bus Richtung Flughafen abfährt. Bad: Anfangs hielt sich ein muffiger Geruch nach Kanalisation im Zimmer, der wie von selbst am zweiten Tag verschwand.

Good: Location, staff and facilities For the first night I was given a room facing a wall. The hotel was full. I asked at the reception for another room and next day was upgraded to a much larger room on the top floor, with a king size bed. The reception staff was impeccable. Bad: I liked everything.

Çok merkezi bir konumda. Havalimanından otele direkt seferle otobüs ulaşımı var. Gezilecek neredeyse her yer yürüme mesafesinde. Çok temiz bir otel. Kahvaltısı güzel.

Good: Mimarisi güzeldi, oda/banyo çok büyüktü, kahvaltı salonu çok görkemliydi ve kahvaltısı çeşitliydi. Bad: Binada eski bir koku vardı.

Good: The location was good with Astoria metro right at door step. The reception and room service were quick to responding to queries or if anything was required to be done in the room.. Breakfast was good. Bad: The soap was not refilled after 2 days stay but when informed reception they brought it soon so it was fine.

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Our room was great, as was the breakfast. We ate a few times in the hotel's restaurant, the food was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good: The hotel offered everything we expected from a 4star hotel. First of all the professional staff at the reception especially Victoria who did her utmost to change our room because of the bath and upgraded us to a superior room wih a shower. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff replenished the dishes all the time. We dined at the hotel's restaurant and we were really satisfied while the service was excellent. Bad: The only downside was the cleaning of the room. The bed was just done by putting back the comforter without at least arranging the sheet. The towels put back in their place without changing them.

Good: We arrived at 9am. We just wanted to leave our luggage, but the room was already done and we checked in six hours before without paying any extra. Room and breakfast were very good. The location was awesome, with the subway and buses right in front of the hotel.

Good: Konum iyi, Kahvaltı çok iyi, ısınma veya soğutma iyi, Temizlik ve konfor iyi, Wifi Çok iyi . Tekrar tercih ederiz.

Good: De locatie, bus en metro lijnen. Maar ook lopend hele interessante museums. Verder is hotel goed, en verwacht je ook de oude sfeer van ouderwets hotel, daar komt het redelijk bij in de buurt. Bad: Het mist net de grandeur luxe die je bij een Astoria verwacht. Daarentegen juist ook daarom dat toch wat oudere hotel gevoel. De voordeur doet het aardig bijna niet zichtbaar of verraad wat er achter de voordeur te vinden is

Good: Posizione ottima, comoda per visitare la città sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici. Staff molto gentile. Buona la colazione, stanze grandi.

Good: Posizione ottima, comodissima anche per il trasferimento da/per l'aeroporto. All'arrivo il bus E100 ferma davanti all'hotel, mentre al ritorno è possibile prenderlo a Deák Ferenc tér (500 m) o a Kálvin tér (650 m). Personale molto gentile. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Letti comodi con doppi cuscini. Bagno con vasca/doccia e bidet. Buona la colazione. Comodissima la macchinetta con bibite e snack all'ingresso. Consigliatissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Good: Fußläufig zu praktisch allem, was man braucht. Sonst Metro vor der Tür. Zimmer waren hervorragend.

Good: La struttura è centralissima. Praticamente sotto l'albergo c'è la metro fermata Astoria. Nelle vicinaz3 tanti bar e ristoranti a due passi dalla sinagoga. Vicini i ruin bar e ad una fermata di metro il new york caffè. Colazione abbondante. Staff gentile e cordiale. Vacanza perfetta

Good: Der Charme eines in die Jahre gekommenen Grand Hotels ist bestechend. Wlan funktioniert einwandfrei, beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es auch Milchalternativen. Bad: Handtücher wurden direkt nach der ersten Nacht getauscht, obwohl sie bewusst nicht auf dem Boden waren. Unnötig!

Treated very well, had a wonderful stay. Great room, staff up front was professional and prompt, the people at the cafe were all pros and great at their job. This place feels like a home away from home, in the heart of Budapest. Thank you and I look forward to visiting again 🙏

We are from Spain and stayed at this hotel for a week. The location is excellent. The treatment received was very good. And the breakfast buffet is quite extensive in food. It is a great place to rest while you spend the day getting to know Budapest.

Ett mycket fint hotell med gamla fint bevarade hotell detaljer med anor från tidigt sekelskifte. Vi bodde på den nyrenoverade delen vilket var en tyst och lugn del av hotellet men utan utsikt. Rummen var fräscha och välstädade med sköna sängar. Maten var bra om än lite sparsmakad men helt ok. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma och vi fick mycket tips och hjälp av dem och speciellt Charles som var super bra och hjälpte oss med det mesta. Hotellet ligger centralt mitt smeten och nära Donau , gångavstånd till det mesta och Hop on Hop stannar utanför , liksom buss och spårvagn. Bra pris , bra läge , bra service , rekommenderas verkligen av oss !!!

Bad: We did not receive room expected but was adequate. The seat of chair in room 504 was not useable. Asked for a replacement but gave up, never received during 3 day stay.

Good: Excellent location, in the center, beautiful decor, nice breakfast, spacious room with comfortable beds! We would go again with pleasure!

Good: Very close to public transport. Within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to river and shops. Opposite corner to City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off Bus, Red route stop 5 and 12. Elevator worked and could hold a couple of people with luggage. Room was large, twin beds with enough space to put 2 suitcases out of the way. Looked like the rooms in the hotels pictures on website just a little older looking in real life. Rooms cleaned every day and towels replaced every day. Staff always friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Bad: Air conditioner in room did not seem to work to cool room down and when balcony doors opened it was very noisy due to constant traffic (cars and trams) but you do get used to it and you do sleep if tired enough or have earplugs. No Kettle in room or facilities to make a tea or coffee. Shower was in a bath so if you have trouble getting in or out of a bath you need to check this. Also shower worked but you could not turn it to just shower and the water ran out to the bath at same time.

Very central, polite staff, old fashioned style. Particularly liked the breakfast. Only possible downside is the traffic noise, which does calm down eventually.

Good: We really enjoyed this historic building. The interior, finished down to the details, was amazingly beautiful. This hotel is not suitable for those who like modern architecture, smooth surfaces and no ornamentation. The location in the heart of the city brings in traffic and city sounds. Again - if you want something else, don't choose this hotel! We wore earplugs and slept very well! The hotel has very good transport links all over the city, including the airport bus (100E) stop about 50 meters away, in the direction of arrival. It is a 5-minute walk back to the airport bus stop. Hungarian State Opera is about 15 minutes of walk, Gellért Thermal Bath 20 minutes. Breakfast was served in an extremely beautiful hall. The coffee was very good and strong! The eggs were made as orderd. The beds in the hotel room (409) were exceptionally good - the mattresses were firm baut not too much. The blanket was big but not heavy. The pillows were of moderate size, 2 pieces. The room was clean and spacious. Bad: The interior, finished down to the details, was amazingly beautiful. This hotel is not suitable for those who like modern architecture, smooth surfaces and no ornamentation. The location in the heart of the city brings in traffic and city sounds. Again - if you want something else, don't choose this hotel! We wore earplugs and slept very well. Carpets and chair covers that need updating or deep cleaning as soon as possible. In other respects - wonderful!
