Good: la sfruttare è in stile un po’ antico, come molti locali e strutture a Budapest, però molto comoda con ampia camera e bagno! Pulita con tutti i confort

Good: Hotel con posizione eccellente, a pochi metri dalla fermata dello shuttle dell'aeroporto, dalla metro e fermate bus. In una zona ben fornita di supermercati, negozi ecc, e ben collegata, vicino a molte attrazioni turistiche e a molti pub per tutti i gusti. Stanze ampie e comode, eleganti che richiamano lo stile della città, molto calde, con un letto grande e comodissimo, con due cuscini (apprezzati), doccia ampia e un balconcino che si affaccia su una via centrale. Wi-fi ben funzionante Bad: L'unica piccola pecca, per me che ho il sonno leggero, qualche rumore notturno proveniente dalla strada

Good: Abbiamo trovato la stanza spaziosa e suggestiva, cosí come tutto l'hotel. Il personale del Cafè e ristorante é stato molto gentile e accogliente (soprattutto con nostro figlio, un bimbo di due anni) Bad: I receptionists sono stati poco cortesi e aperti. Il lettino per nostro figlio non aveva un materasso.

Good: Albergo in ottima posizione: 10 metri dalla fermata della metro, 30 metri dalla partenza dei bus turistici; nelle vicinanze anche tanti negozi e servizi. Ascensori moderni ed efficienti. Camera di dimensioni adeguate, anche con due poltrone e un tavolino. Bagno pulito e moderno, con una doccia strepitosa: difficile trovarne di migliori! Colazione a buffet, di buona qualità e con molta scelta, sia dolce che salato. Personale gentile sia al ristorante che alla reception. Considerando che siamo al centro di Budapest il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. E con 25 euro in più abbiamo potuto mantenere la camera fino alle 16.30 nel giorno del check-out, che è un bel vantaggio se l'aereo per tornare a casa parte la sera... Bad: Il mobilio è datato e avrebbe bisogno di più di una rinfrescata, sia nelle camere che nella zona della reception. Nella camera ci sarebbe stato bene anche un bollitore per fare il the o il caffè. E poi nel bagno non c'è il bidet, ma in certi Paesi più che una mancanza è una forma di vita, e purtroppo non c'è niente da fare...

Good: Staff cortese ed accogliente. Struttura pulita sia in camera che nelle parti comuni. Letto comodo. Ottima l'idea del locale con solo water e lavandino separato da un altro locale con docvia e lavandino all'interno della stessa camera. Good: La posizione ottima di questo storico Hotel Astoria, la facilità di raggiungere dall'aeroporto il centro città attraverso il bus 100E con fermata davanti all'hotel, aver usufruito di fronte all'hotel del Bus Hop on Hop per visitare Budapest in un giorno è stata un'ottima scelta (la consiglio) era abbinata alla navigazione di un'ora sul Danubio (bellissima) con audio guida in italiano ed una buona colazione pranzo all'americana. Visita in 1 giorno e mezzo con arrivo nel tardo pomeriggio la sera da vedere i famosi Pub Ruin (vicini all'hotel) per bere. Consiglio di assaggiare a cena i gulasch buonissimi.

Good: Cordialità massima: uno dei receptionist ha perfino capito al volo che fossi italiano! E mi ha risposto in italiano nonostante io avessi approcciato in inglese (probabilmente hanno notato dall'accento, bravi). Insomma che dire: massima disponibilità, posizione centralissima all'incrocio delle quattro vie principali di Budapest, collegamenti che non potrebbero essere migliori, cordialità estrema. Potrei continuare all'infinito, passando per le camere estremamente pulite (che vengono igienizzate anche senza espresso parere se siete fuori un bel po' di ore), al fatto che una struttura così antica venga tenuta così bene. A chi si lamenta della struttura non modernissima, direi che dovrebbe riflettere su quanto sia ancora più difficile per il personale riuscirla a mantenere così splendente. E poi l'Astoria è Storia! A parte i giochi di parole, rappresenta davvero un simbolo per l'intera città e la fermata è una delle più famose ed iconiche in assoluto. Senza considerare che per qualità prezzo vi state godendo davvero quasi il massimo. Bravi, bravi. Consigliatissimo assolutamente! Ho intenzione di tornare a Budapest, e non c'è alcun dubbio che verrò da voi! Bad: Niente.

Good: Posizione ideale. Grande disponibilità dello staff a soddisfare le mie richieste. Il letto è davvero comodo. Bad: La pulizia "eco green" della stanza dovrebbe prevedere di pulire i pavimenti piuttosto che cambiare asciugamani e biancheria del letto. Sarebbe utile avere più ganci appendiabiti/asciugamani in bagno (magari vicino alla doccia). Aggiungerei il bacon al buffet della colazione.

Good: Soggiorno di 6 giorni. Abbiamo dormito in una stanza non direttamente affacciata sulla via principale (per cui molto silenziosa) su un comodo materasso alto una spanna. Doccia bollente, getto forte, bagno e stanza puliti. Camera rassettata ad ogni richiesta. Asciugacapelli poco potente, ma siamo in vacanza, possiamo aspettare.. Wi-fi sufficiente. Colazione a buffet con veramente tutto il necessario per saziarsi, dolce e soprattutto salato. Non deve essere stato facile riadattare un edificio storico ai canoni dell'ospitalità moderna ma secondo noi ci sono riusciti perfettamente. Ingresso, sala colazioni, arredi, particolari decorativi lasciano respirare la storia dello stabile. La ristrutturazione non è probabilmente recentissima per cui si può vedere il passaggio dei clienti precedenti, soprattutto nella stanza. Personale gentilissimo, ci hanno consigliati su tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno, comprese utilissime indicazioni su validi ristoranti in zona. Rapporto qualità prezzo quindi più che buono per quanto ci riguarda.

Good: La struttura è molto vicina al centro e le attrazioni principale. La metropolitana è proprio attaccata alla struttura. Lo staff era molto gentile ed accogliente. Bad: Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che si doveva richiedere giornalmente le pulizie della camera e specificare quello che si desiderava. La pulizia delle camere non sono fatte tutti i giorni, cambio delle lenzuola e teli bagni soltanto su richiesta. Mi sembra un po’ strano per un quattro stelle.

Hotel splendido a 4 stelle…lo consiglio vivamente!! A causa di un disguido ci siamo trovati io e la mia compagna a chiedere se avessero una camera libera e il signore alla reception ( parlava in italiano) è riuscito a darci una stanza matrimoniale applicando anche uno sconto che era presente su booking ma di cui lui non ne era a conoscenza. Ci ha fornito una cartina e tutte le informazioni utili di cui avevamo bisogno…un trattamento del genere va sicuramente premiato. Consiglio a tutti coloro che devono venire a budapest di controllare la disponibilità qui. Semmai dovessi tornare a budapest sicuramente contatterei questa struttura. L'hotel è il più antico della città si trova in posizione strategica per visitare Budapest esattamente nel quartiere di Pest ma con una breve passeggiata dopo aver attraversato il ponte delle catene ci si trova a Buda ai piedi del castello. Camera grande pulita alla perfezione con balcone. Colazione a buffet abbandonate e di qualità. Purtroppo ho avuto un problema in fase di check out ( mi hanno addebitato una bottiglia d'acqua in più rispetto a quelle prelevate dal frigobar). Prenotate qui e non ve ne pentirete

Good: Posizione eccezionale perchéproprio sopra la metro astoria e davanti alla fermata del 100E da/per aeroporto. Pulizia impeccabile . Colazione da favola Bad: La struttura un po' vetusta ma è anche il suo lato caratteristico e la moquette nelle stanze che benché l'eccellente pulizia danno sempre l'idea di non pulitissimo
