Gorgeous hotel in Budapest - beautiful vintage interiors, amazing location and very friendly and attentive staff who brought us more pillows and accommodated other requests in the middle of the night. The bathrooms, as mentioned in other reviews, were not the cleanest with some hair on the floor and in the bathtub but we cleaned it and overall had an amazing experience. We had an amazing view out from our 4th floor balcony over a busy street (relatively loud) and unbelievably comfortable beds :)

Good location and decent enough breakfast. Staff were friendly. Disappointed that our room was not cleaned & bed made despite the fact we we put sightseeing from just after 11am until after 6pm! We had to go to reception to ask for a set of clean towels. Hotel could do with a refurbishment- looking a bit tired. Hairdryer in bathroom was very heavy & uncomfortable to use. Not quite up to the standard of what I expect from a 4star hotel.

Good: Centrale ligging, vooral bij metro, bus en trams. Personeel behulpzaam. Schone kamers. Sfeervolle inrichting hotel. Ruime kamer/kasten. Badkamer, ruimte voor je spullen. Badspullen (al was de douchegel leeg). Bad: Slecht geslapen. Hotel bleek de airco/cooling uitgeschakeld ivm "koele" buitentemperatuur (18 gr overdag). Receptie adviseerde om de ramen overdag open te zetten en 's nachts dicht. Maar 's nachts was kamer nog te warm. Vanwege druk verkeer en veel keiharde (politie/ambulace-)sirenes lieten we de ramen gesloten. Alle nachten slecht geslapen.

Good: Do café da manhã muito bom e da localização. Excelente banho. Bad: Do atendimento da recepção em especial sr David que não nos recebeu bem. Foi grosseiro. Também achei o colchão meio mole.

Great location, friendly staff, and an OK breakfast. We stayed on the fifth floor with a balcony facing the main street, and I have to say the balcony railings felt far too low, which made us almost afraid to step out onto the balcony. There was also no child safety lock on the balcony door. Close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions — overall, a very good stay!

Good: Funcionário Gilbert muito gentil e prestativo. Bad: Apenas o fato de não ter elevador. Demais tudo excelente. Há um recado na cozinha que diz para se sentir em casa, então na chegada atacamos as laranjas do cesto. Pedi desculpas no dia seguinte e disseram que não havia problema, era para comer. 😍 Recomendo sem dúvidas.

Good: Paid extra $10 to get a room upgrade in the new section, it was worth it because regular rooms are smaller and dated. Breakfast was good. Bad: Hotel is located in a pretty busy area, and main city attractions and nicer restaurants were a little far away.

Buena ubicación, habitaciones grandes, muy buen y variado desayuno. Igual la limpieza tienen que mejorar un poco, si pones tantas alfombras en la habitación hay que pasar la aspiradora todos los días. En 4 días que estuvimos no la pasaron ni el primero. Y la ducha de la habitación habría que renovarla. Por lo demás, todo bien.

Good: Big spacious rooms, heritage vibes, courteous staff, good breakfast, prime location with metro and tram stops just outside the hotel. They also arranged an extra bed for my kid which rarely happens in Europe. Proximity to ALDI, souvenir shop's, subway, McDonald's and many other food outlets. Bad: Not complaining but a bigger Television with some more channels would make it more wholesome.

Good: The property is so vintage and matches the vibe of the city so if you like vintage style rooms and architecture this one is definitely for you. So close to city center and 2 mins walk to aldi supermarket. The train station is literally at the side of the hotel building. The view from the balcony is amazing. Bad: The staff at reception were not friendly my friend wanted to check out later but he wasn’t nice and didn’t reject her request politely. Also upon checking in the staff didn’t seem welcoming. The room is clean but they gave us the room with the carpets all over not the one with the wooden parke’ which looked way nicer.

Good: With an excellent team, the centrally located hotel offers real value for money. The rooms are comfortable and, the breakfast spread is great and the entire staff is friendly and professional. Enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel restaurant that offers excellent dishes, including the traditional Hungarian cuisine, and the experience is made great by Robert and Brigitta who always looked us with a ready smile. Truly a memorable experience.

Good: Beautiful hotel with an old charm, perfect location to explore the city by foot being minutes walk from Danube river and same close to most of the sights, many shops and restaurants around, Astoria metro station is 60m from the entrance and bus stop is around the corner. We had a very spacious room with high ceilings that was soundproofed better than most of modern hotels, if there was any noise getting to the room, that would be from the street as we kept a window open but this didn't disturb us. Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, great breakfast and attentive staff. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Bad: All was wonderful, just an iron in the room would handy but you can always get one by calling the reception. Many steps should be considered by people with walking difficulties.

Good: Ubicación espectacular, cerca de todo, pegada a la sinagoga, habitaciones antiguas , con aire retro,pero cama muy cómoda , en el restaurante del hotel se puede cenar muy bien, el desayuno muy completo. Bad: Cierto personal en recepción muy antipáticos, poco colaboradores, pero el resto encantadores. Quizá necesitaría un poco de reforma,pero la estancia fue genial.

Good: とにかくアクセスが良いこと。アストリア駅が近く、どこの観光スポットに行くのにも片道20-30分ほどで行けてよかった。帰りの空港行きバス乗り場は隣の駅で、8分ほど歩くまたは電車に乗って2, 3分移動する必要がある。 バスタブがある上、タオル交換も毎日してもらえる。ロビーには水や果物も置いてある。朝食も美味しい。 Bad: ドライヤーの主電源がついたりつかなかったりしたこと。受付で頼んで修理の方に見てもらったが、ガンガンと適当にボタンを押したらついたので、私もそのようにして対処した😂

Bad: לא ניקו ריצפה בחדר. לא נוח שצריך להוריד תריסים. וילון כהה ארוך יותר היה מועיל. לוקח הרבה זמן למים להתחמם. שימו חלב בחדר לקפה ואפשר לחדש מלאי. ארוחת בוקר בסיסית בהתחשב ברמת המלון. שתיה חמה ממכונות , פחות מתאים לבוקר. מגוון קטן של לחמים, גבינות. מאפים...תנסו לפנק בעוד קצת סלטים ובמבחר קצת יותר עשיר.
