Albergo a 4 stelle nel centro di Budapest

The hotel is stately and charming, and perfectly located for exploring Budapest. I booked it because of the neighborhood, and because of the relatively low price of the room. The Astoria was closed during Covid, and it seems that it is trying to rebuild its clientele. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside, though to be fair, I stayed in the newer rooms in the annex. For price, style, and location, it's hard to beat the Astoria. Laszlo, the manager, at the front desk, could not have been more helpful. Fekete, the coffee shop a few steps away on Muzeum korut, is one of the best I've found in Budapest.

Good: I love the grand old hotels full of history. The Astoria did not disappoint. Great location, within walking distance of much of the city, or lots of public transportation from which to choose. My room was great. 5th floor with a balcony, so had a great view of the city. I loved sitting at my table watching the world go by below. The room was still quiet even though the streets are busy below. The gentleman at check in was helpful, and supplied me with a kettle and coffee cups, as I like to make my own brew in the AM. The room was big with everything I needed. Bed was huge and comfortable. Lots of pillows. Bonus: The historical elegant Astoria Cafe co-joining the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at the Astoria and wasn't upset that I had to stay extra days since KLM kept cancelling my flight. :-) Bad: As is oftentimes the case with these grand old hotels, some of the fixtures or furnishing may be dated. I don't mind, as it's somewhat expected. One thing that did bug me at the Astoria was the odd art in the room and some of its decor that didn't make any sense. It seemed to be an Arabic theme of North Africa or similar? It would be so much more suitable and in sync if it was focused on the the amazing location of Budapest and this historical hotel.

Good: Acceuil agréable dans cet hôtel qui a une histoire. Chambre au 6ème, tant mieux, le boulevard reste assez bruyant et c'est moins perceptible en haut ! Good: Très bon emplacement, grande chambre donnant sur une rue latérale, plus calme que les chambres donnant sur le centre. Linge de lit propre, les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. Good: Great location and very comfortable room. I have stayed at so many hotels in North America and Europe, and Astoria hotel room has the best sound insulation. I can’t hear anyone around me and above me, though sometimes I can hear people in the corridor. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Good: The hotel has the old world charm and makes every effort to maintain it. I esp. loved the hotel floor corridor and the way the room doors are designed. the room itself is designed to give you a royal old world experience with beautiful layout and also had a small balcony!

Good: персонал превосходный. все пожелания выполнялись сиюминутно. попросили чайник в комнату и халаты , тут же через минуту уже были в комнате. убирали каждый день. ванные пренадлежности кроме полотенец(которые менялись каждый день) нужно было попросить . и тоже сразу же предомтавлялись. Вид из окна на центральную улицу, но не шумно. на рецепшене очень отзывчивые люди. причем все. очень помогали. даже некоторые говорили чуть чуть по русски.номер большой , удобный. единственное , что завтраки в течении 5 дней были одни и те же , совсем ничего не менялось!. хотя голодные не были совсем. и очень обильные. кофемашина и много разной выпечки. гостиницу советуем. спасибо персоналу. Good: The room was very pleasant. We had a big wardrobe for our clothes, a fridge for food we bought and a big bed, which Is perfect for married couples as it does not have two mattress, which we don't like. The bathroom was quite good. Without a window and a bathing tub as a shower, but it was very good. We did not book the breakfast and only added it on our last day. It was okay but nothing really special. The hotel was in a very good place. We took the bus from the airport on our arrival and it stopped directly in front of the hotel. It is located directly in the centre of the city I would say, you can easily walk everywhere you want in just a few minutes. So perfect for people who are there for a short city break. All in all, it was very convenient staying there. The staff was very nice and helpful! I cannot say something really negative about our stay.

nous revenons de Budapest - excellent séjour. l'hôtel est très bien situé : métro, tram et bus au pied de l'hôtel. Très beau cadre, chambre très propre et nous avons très bien mangé (pdj et repas du soir). Je recommande vivement. Les employés sont très sympas et le Mr qui nous a reçus le samedi à 02H00 du matin (cause avion 2H00 de retard) a été très compréhensif et très accueillant.

4 von 5 Punkten. Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme und strahlt noch deutlich die K&K_Ära aus. Überall Marmor und eine tolle Stille im Inneren. Die Sauberkeit und auch die Technik war jetzt nicht so prima und nicht vergleichbar mit modernen 4 Sterne-Hotels. Auf Nachfrage war die Servicekraft aber sehr hilfsbereit, das muss man schon sagen. Die Lage ist megazentral, es geht alles zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn, bedeutet aber auch, dass man nachts nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen kann. Das Buffet ist ganz gut, der Kaffee ist lecker. Vllt. würden wir es wieder nehmen, aber es müsste sich preislich anpassen.

Good: The location of the hotel is just excellent: right in the heart of the busy city. Although the hotel is in the city center, the rooms are very quiet and peaceful. In the nearby you can find restaurants of different type, playgrounds, bars, famous buildings and landmarks. We loved to take quick evening strolls just to to breath in the atmosphere of the city. and our daughter enjoyed to watch the traffic from the window, so everybody got his/her heart's desire fulfilled :) The hotel's restaurant is just beautiful and the dishes are tasty. Bad: In the description it was written that there is a pool in the hotel. When we asked about it, it turned out that it is not located in the hotel's building but you have to travel to a different place to use it. It was quite disillusing as we really counted on a good swim after dinner.

Good: L'emplacement central de l'hôtel est tout simplement parfait, á proximité de tout les transports, le Metro se trouve devant l'hôtel, les bus et le tram également. Le bus 100E qui fait la liaison aéroport centre ville a un arrêt devant l'hôtel. L'hôtel et son architecture typique de Budapest, sont superbe,avec tout le confort moderne ( une aile de l'hôtel a été rénové avec une décoration des chambres contemporaines) L'acceuil de nuit pour une arrivée tardive á cause d'un retard de vol, n'a posé aucun problème, avec en réception, la gentillesse et le sourire du personnel. (Avec des origines italiennes, il se reconnaîtra...). Si possible demandez une chambre qui ne donne pas sur le carrefour , qui reste bruyant malgrés le double vitrage, c'est le seul point á reprocher

Good: המקום היה טוב מאוד ובהתאם לציפיות. בית מלון קלאסי. ביקשנו חדר עם שתי מיטות נפרדות. מעב למיטות ומקלחת יש שם ציוד להכנת קפה אבל הם שמים בדיוק שתי שקיות קפה אישיות. יש גם ארונות לאחסון. לא נסינו את ארוחת הבוקר. רצינו לאכול בחוץ. Bad: מדובר בבית מלון יחסית גדול אז יש הליכה לא מבוטלת מהכניסה עד החדר. כדאי לנסות לבקש חדר קרוב.
