Много продуктовых магазинов. В отеле очень чисто, интересный интерьер, в номере убирались каждый день. Завтраки сытные, шведский стол. Заселили раньше, без доплат и это прекрасно! The dark haired lady at reception was so helpful, approachable, and friendly. She is definitely one of the reasons I am giving the hotel all 5’s. I rated the breakfast a 3 because I found a cooked bug in my eggs on the second day. The variety was good and I continued to eat the breakfast the next several days, albeit with more consideration of what I chose.

Das Hotel liegt günstig um die Stadt zu erkunden. Bushaltestellen direkt vor der Tür, Metro station 500m, S-Bahnstation 100m entfernt. Aber, sehr stark befahrene Hauptstrasse, wer es ruhiger mag sollte sich nach einer alternative umsehen Service: Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Personal im Restaurant beim Frühstück könnte daran arbeiten, es wird nicht gegrüßt, die Tische werden abgeräumt und das wars. Food: Beim Frühstück konnte man sich am Buffet bedienen, Auswahl gut und reichlich. Was mir persönlich nicht gefallen hat, der Joghurt war in Einzelportionsbechern. Da finde ich könnte man zwecks Umweltschutz eine andere Option wählen. Room: Wir hatten das Zimmer 221. Das Zimmer liegt zur Seitenstrasse, also ruhiger als die vorderen Zimmer an der Strasse. Das Zimmer war eher dunkel, da direkt gegenüber der schnalen Strasse ein Gebäude steht. Insgesamt aber sehr sauber, unglücklich das neben dem Schreibtisch noch ein Tisch und Sessel in das Zimmer gestellt wurde. Entweder kommt man kaum am Sessel vorbei zum Bett, oder man muss die Möbel weg rücken. Ich persönlich hätte darauf verzichten können, aber war jetzt auch kein Mangel für uns. Sport: Wir haben einen Städtetrip unternommen

Wir haben die Synagoge besucht und die freetour Rundwanderung in den jüdischen Vierteln mit Regina gehabt, dafür ist die Lage super optimal. Nettes Hotel, schöne Gebäude.

Good: erg vriendelijk personeel, schitterend gevarieerd ontbijtbuffet, lekkere maaltijden in het restaurant. De kamer was wel erg lawaaierig wegens de ligging van het hotel aan het kruispunt van twee hoofdstraten en diverse tramhaltes. Bad: lawaai in de kamer en erg lawaaierige airco

Good: Todo Llegue de Londres de muy mal sitio ... y cuando llegue a este hotel casi lloro .. lo grande , lo cómodo, lo limpio ... todo

Geweldige ligging in centrum van de stad, vlakbij metro, tram en bus. Kamer was prima, alleen het kleedje had zijn beste tijd gehad. Ontbijt is spectaculair. Ruime keuze en bij de prijs inbegrepen is het laten maken van bijvoorbeeld een omelet. Staf was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Kollégámmal szálltunk meg 1 éjszakára. Eredetileg csak két főre terveztünk, de az este folyamán csatlakoztak szépen sorban a többiek, akik egy esküvőről kerültek ide. Végül két lakosztályt foglaltunk el, közös erkéllyel, olyan sokan lettünk. Szerencsénkre éppen nem volt teltház, így tudták biztosítani a szomszédos lakosztályt nekünk. A 6. emeleti szobából ragyogó a kilátás, lélegzetelállító a látvány! Jobbra a Puskin Mozi, balra egy Totózó! Az ablakkal volt egyedül egy kis gond, nagyon könnyen járt, ez kicsit balesetveszélyes. Ott tartózkodásunk idején a szállodát éppen tatarozták kívülről. A lakosztályt pont előtte újították fel, jó az új padlószőnyeg, szépen megy a falakhoz! A franciaágy is teljesen új volt, mi akartuk felavatni, de aztán az nem jött össze. A személyzet nagyon segítőkész, kényelmünkről személyesen a szálloda igazgatója gondoskodott. A recepción az esküvő alkalmából egy hatalmas kosár rózsával és egy üveg pezsgővel gratuláltak! A szobapincértől pedig bármit kértünk, megoldotta, nem volt olyan, amit ne tudott volna beszerezni! Kagyló, kaviár, MUMM pezsgő! Nagyon finom volt, csak rettenetesen drága, de hát egyszer élünk! Öltöny, tolószék, altató, álmenyasszony, ez utóbbi grátisz, stb. , stb. . . Nagyon tetszett a szálloda aljában lévő hatalmas úszómedence a patinás oszlopokkal, amire a galérián lévő kávézóból rá lehet látni. A jégkorong formájú kulcstartók is nagyon jól néznek ki, retro hangulatot kölcsönöznek a szállodának a szekrénybe zárható tévékészülékkel együtt. Elég hosszúra sikerült az éjszaka, mozgalmas volt, de összességében egy jó kis esküvőt követő afterparty kerekedett ki belőle. Nagyon szuperül éreztük magunkat! Biztos, hogy legközelebb is jövünk, és akkor már a családtagjainkat is magunkkal hozzuk.

Das Danubius Hotel Astoria ist ein sehr elegantes und auf den Komfort seiner Besucher ausgerichtetes Hotel im Herzen von Budapest. Viele interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von hier fußläufig erreichbar, sodass es vor allem für Städtetouristen eine ideale Unterkunft darstellt, auch zu angemessenen Preisen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich, es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Regionale Spezialitäten und internationale Köstlichkeiten werden gleichermaßen angeboten. Ein Kritikpunkt, für den das Hotel allerdings freilich nichts kann, ist die Lage an zwei stark befahrenen Hauptstraßen. Hier kommen regelmäßig auch des Nachts Einsatzfahrzeuge vorbei, sodass ich dringend die Buchung eines abseits der Straße gelegenen Zimmers raten möchte. Es kann sonst wirklich sehr laut sein, auch die Wände sind recht hellhörig. Da wir uns sonst aber sehr wohlgefühlt haben, werde ich hierfür keinen Stern abziehen.

Good: Super Lage des Hotels mitten in Budapest. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Atmosphäre mit historischen Sälen und Zimmern, man fühlt sich 100 Jahre zurückversetzt. Sehr großes Zimmer. Bad: Aufgrund der Lage direkt an einer riesigen Kreuzung relativ laut wenn man das Fenster geöffnet oder gekippt hat. Zudem war im Badezimmer in den ersten Tagen ein extremer Abfluss Geruch, der zum Glück nach paar Tagen weg war.

Good: L'emplacement est parfait, a côté du métro et tout près de l hyper centre ville. Le petit déjeuner très bien, copieux . Bad: Les parties communes de l'hôtel mériteraient un rafraîchissement. L'hôtel a été très chic il y a longtemps, aujourd'hui cela fait défraîchi et les moquettes semblent sales. La proximité du boulevard ou les voitures roulent comme des dingues.

Good: Das Frühstück war 1a alles was man sich wünscht. Die Lage ist mega zentral, alle Bahnen und Busse vor Ort. Die Räumlichkeiten, das Restaurant und auch das Zimmer waren perfekt und ich fühlte mich dort wie eine Prinzessin. Jederzeit würde ich diese Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Good: Ο κύριος στην υποδοχή ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και κατατοπιστικός,το δωμάτιο μεγάλο για 1-2 άτομα το μπάνιο επίσης ωραίο με όλα τα κομφόρ ,το κρεβάτι πολύ άνετο.Επίσης το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο· είχε ό,τι τραβάει η ψυχή σου. Το ξενοδοχειο βρίσκεται επίσης πολύ κοντά στο μετρό και για το Ορλύ το αεροδρόμιο 20 λεπτά χωρίς κίνηση. Bad: Είχα κάνει κράτηση μέσω booking και είχα ζητήσει δωμάτιο με θέα στην πόλη αλλά δυστυχώς η πόρτα ήταν κλειδωμένη και το παράθυρο δεν άνοιγε οπότε δεν είδα και πολλά πράγματα αφού έμεινα ένα βράδυ.Το πρωί λίγο κάτι μπόρεσα αλλά σχεδόν τίποτα….

Excellent location!!! Metro station outside and a 5 minute walk away from the bustling jewish district with its nightlife and cafes. This hotel has actual character, you sense its history and if walls could talk... Great buffet breakfast. But yeah its the unique charm that won me over. Staff are polite and professional. Loved our stay in Budapest and the Astoria was a great spot to base ourselves.

Centrally located, so we were able to walk to the chain Bridge, The Hungarian National Museum, and then to the port to meet our cruise ship.

Good: Lovely room ..... breakfast was very good choice ... location must be the best in Budapest ... sitting literally next door to Metro, Tram, Bus links and walking distance to all over main centre. This will be our must stay hotel next visit. Bad: Seems petty, but as you asked me .... breakfast hot drinks machines never really produced hot enough water or coffee etc, Simple solution - we made a hot drink in room afterwards using the kettle.
