We stayed one week here and loved it. You can walk into town in about 15 to 20 minutes - down the banks of the Danube - and we loved doing that. Alternatively, get the 75 trolleybus outside the hotel and you're in town in 5 minutes. The leisure facilities are free for guests and we used them each day. You can book the spa facilities - body massages recommended. Hotel guests get crioissants and coffee free and can upgrade for a fee to a full breakfast. Hotel meals and drinks are relatively good value for a quality hotel. Staff are friendly. All in all we'd stay again certainly.

Good: Centrally located and great spa treatments available. The cafe has great coffee, real espresso. Bad: The coffee machine was used for breakfast, not real coffee and the cafe only opens at 8:00am, so no real coffee until then. Location Tip: Very convenient location. Central in Budapest. Good: There were a lot of things we liked a lot. If I have to pick one, I would say the food in the coffee bar. Bad: Cleaning staff knocking on your door at 8am to clean to room when you forgot to put the do-not disturb sign up Location Tip: While not immediately in the centre, public transport got you were you wanted to be. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. While not directly in the city centre, it was very easy for us to get to any place in the city. Public transport was just brilliant. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. While not directly in the city centre, it was very easy for us to get to any place in the city. Public transport was just brilliant. Good: Struttura ricettiva elegante ed accogliente. Personale disponibile a risolvere ogni richiesta. Camere pulitissime cambio asciugamani giornaliero.wifi GRATUITA nelle hall e nella terrazza. Spa molto bella e curata. Piscine con acque termali disponibili gratuitamente agli ospiti. Tutto perfetto.

Good: Bra hotell om man tycker om att motionera, ganska nära till tunnelbanan om man ska in till city ( 5 minuter att gå ), ännu närmare med buss. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal både på hotellet och i SPA avdelningen. Bra frukost och god mat i övrigt till ett bra pris. Rent och snyggt trevlig omgivning. Ett extra plus om man bokar ett rum med utsikt mot Donau, det är värt den lilla extra kostnaden. Bad: Som ungrare i allmänhet så borde de lära sig bättre engelska, väldigt skiftande nivå, en del mycket bra och en del ganska dåliga.

Das Hotel ist seit mehreren Jahren der Stützpunkt für meine Geschäftsreisen in Ungarn. Alles was ich im Hotel nutze, ist zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit. Leider sind die Preise in den letzten Jahren stark gestiegen, was sich negativ auf das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis niederschlägt, da für mich keine neuen Leistungen erkennbar sind..

Good: Hezky hotel s komplexnimi lazenskymi sluzbami (jejich vyuziti je mozne v kteroukoliv denni dobu). Bohaty vyber jidel u snidanoveho bufetu. Ochotny personal. Bad: Pro pesi je hotel umisten daleko od centra.

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med fantastisk personal som alltid är serviceinriktade, vänliga och omtänksamma. Hotellet ligger lite utanför centrum men det finns trådbussar utanför hotellet som underlättar om man inte vill promenera. Det finns ett stort utbud av spa-behandlingar som är lätta att boka.

The hotel was excellent, clean, quiet, with very good spa and pools. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about.

Good: Dinlenmek için mükemmel bir tesis(tabiki bu fiyatlara), termaş havuzlar güzeldi.. Bad: steam çok eski idi.

Vi hadde en fantastisk weekend i Budapest. Hotellet bar nok preg av at det var et konferansehotell hvor restauranten kunne være stengt om kveldene pga konferansemiddager. Buffematen svarte ikke til forventningene av det ungarske kjøkken men god frokost. Gå ut og spis middag. Spamulighetene mange og trengte ikke lang bestillingstid. Stort sett servicevennlig personale men ikke alle. Fikk god hjelp av Consignierene til å bestille resturan, taxi mm og de var pålitelige. Totalt sett fornyd.

Добрый день. Впечатление от вашего отеля у меня хорошее, мне все понравилось, но почему-то не было повторного осмотра врача, хотя на ресепшен мне сказали, что доктор будет и, еще один нюанс, два раза на обед был подан не свежий салат и десерт. Но эти, не очень приятные моменты не смогли уменьшить общее, хорошее впечатление от всего, что мне вы предложили. Огромное спасибо Агнес за физиотерапию, тренеру йоги, тренеру аквааэробики и всем, всем сотрудникам отеля, которые терпеливо выслушивали меня ( я не знаю ни английский, ни немецкий, ни венгерский языки) Желаю вам дальнейшего развития и процветания. Отель дорогой, для деловых и серьёзных людей. в отеле есть русская баня, фитнес-центр, а также можно делать оздоровительные процедуры. Для женщин, салон красоты. Я бы сказала что отель хороший для конференции, но не для туристов. благоприятный вид окрестности, хорошие условия в отеле, прекрасный персонал, но этот отель не совсем для отдыха.

We choosed Danubius Helia because of all the different treatments including sauna, warmwater pools etc. Trollybus right outside the hotel. A short walk to Budapests great Metrosystem. Just a few minuts to the city. Close to shoppingmalls because of the metro. Our second time in Budapest and we still enjoy the town.

Хотела е 4 звезди и се намира на брега на Дунав. Стаите са отлични, но са без тераси в голямата си част. Местоположението му е срещу остров Маргит. Бяхме на Workshop от фирмата и не можахме да посетим спа процедури, но видяхме множество хора дошли заради минералната вода. Ресторанта е с отлична кухня. Тук опитах едно много вкусно телешко, каквото скоро не съм ял. Десертите бяха отлично приготвени. Шницела който ми предложиха за вечеря бе толкова голям, че едва го изконсумирах. Вината са добри и разнообразни. Не опитах палинката, но следващия път. Персонала е много добре подбран и обучен. Нета е платен и според мен доста скъп, но за нас беше безплатен и скороста е добра.

Mycket bra! Alla Spabehandlingar vi provade var mycket prisvärda allt från pedikyr till massage. Ett extra plus för badrocken som låg fint inplastad och väntade. Väldigt trevlig och tjänstvillig hotellpersonal. Nära till liten affär och tunnelbana/spårvagn. Två hållplatser bort ligger den superstora West End shopping gallerian med allt du kan tänkas vilja köpa!! :-)

Good: Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and in perfect condition. Everything you need there is always somebody to help you. In general very good price for what you get back. Bad: There is not free internet (cable or wireless), and to have a connection you need to pay a lot of money. I think that these people are not understand that we are in 2011.... very bad surprise for a high class hotel. The hotel is a little bit far from downtown.

Good: אהבתי מאוד את השירות והאדיבות במלון כמו כן את זמינות הטיפולים בספא ואת מגוון הטיפולים. Bad: לטעמי הייתי משפר את ארוחות הצהריים והערב במלון, האוכל היה סביר אבל ממש לא יותר מזה, לא נשארים עם טעם טוב בפה אחרי האוכל. גם את הטיפולים הייתי משפר, הטיפולים היו טובים אבל לא עד הסוף.. למשל עיסוי איורוודי שכולל את כל הגוף אמור לכלול גם את הבטן החזה והפנים והוא לא היה כך במלון מבחינתי עיסוי שלא כיסה את כל איזורי הגוף שהוא אמור לכסות זאת חצי עבודה. עוד דוגמה בטיפול הפנים הכניסו לי קרם לתוך העיניים אחריו לא ראיתי טוב כמה שעות.. כדאי לעשות דברים עד הסוף וכמו שצריך אם רוצים שהחוויה מהמלון תהיה כזאת שמשאירה טעם של עוד.

スパにも入れる近代的な4つ星ホテルですが、宿泊料金は非常にリーズナブルです。 部屋もゆったりしていて、設備も良かったです。食事も種類も味も良かったです。スタッフの対応も良かったです。ドナウ川の川沿いのホテルなので、散歩していてもとても気持ちが良かったです。 観光場所の多い中心地にも地下鉄ですぐに行けますし、地下鉄駅からもホテルまで徒歩で数分の近さです。ホテルの近くにスーパーマーケットがあって、便利でした。

Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Wir hatten den Wunsch das Zimmer zu wechseln, weil wir Eines zur Donauseite haben wollten, was problemlos geschehen ist. Das Personal spricht Englisch und Deutsch. Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig und man hat große Auswahl, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Das Stadtzentrum ist innerhalb weniger Minuten mit U-Bahn (Metro), Buß und Strassenbahn zu erreichen. U-Bahnstation zu Fuss nur einige Minuten, Busshaltestelle quasi vor der Tür. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr zu empfehlen. Hier kann man nach den Stadtbesichtungen richtig gut entspannen. Im Allgemeinen kann man sagen, dass die Ungarn sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sind. Nicht aufdringlich (Lokale und Geschäfte) sondern sehr nett. Da es in Ungarn glücklicher Weise den Euro noch nicht gibt, ist ein Auffenthalt hier noch bezahlbar und man bekommt auch noch was für sein Geld. Kurzum: Wir können dieses Hotel, Budapest und Ungarn für einen Urlaub nur empfehlen.

The Helia Spa Hotel is a gem of Budapest. It is in a quite location beside the river. The hotel and rooms are modern, quite and clean. The four pool spa is also a gem. If you really want to relax and enjoy Budapest and the spa life, stay at the Helia. The breakfast is excellent. Don't worry if it's not included in the price of the hotel. It's only a few Euros extra. There is easy access to the city center via an electric bus outside of the hotel and an easy transfer to an above ground, scenic route tram. It takes less than twenty minutes to get to the city center from the hotel via public transportation. The hotel staff is more than happy to answer any questions you have. But, be brave, purchase a public transportation pass and hop around beautiful Budapest. It's a great way to see the city and experience life the way the Hungarians do. The Helia Spa Hotel is the place to return to and start your day on a visit to Budapest.

Very good Hotel,clean and with very efficient staff,especially at the front office desk. Check in and out,fast and flawless. Very much appreciated not having had to struggle with the local language,thanks to the capable english speaking staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this smart hotel. Very comfortable room and esoecially enjoyed the fitness suite and spa facilities which were excellent. Very convenient position in relation to the main tourist areas-a pleasant walk along the Danube river to the Par;liament building.

Impeccable, dispose d'un SPA, d'une salle de Fitness. Les chambres sont très propres. On pourrait reprocher la taille de la baignoire, mais il y a 1 piscine et 3 bains thermaux. Un peu loin du centre à pied, mais avec les transports en commun, cela prend 10-15 minutes.

we loved it!! the hotel was amazing and the staff were so helpful they helped us with the best restaurants and clubs to go to and how to get to places in the day aswel as night, they all spoke very good english so that was such a help, inpartically one member of staff called Gylia was so good in telling us what clubs to go to and was extremely helpful kind and polite. It was the best hotel i've ever been to as it had everything there and was near to the metro which we didn't use at night but day time was safe.there was a supermarket literally oposite which was great for daily essentials. The hotel have their own taxi company who were very helpful as they told us how much other taxis should be asking for so u no your not gettin ripped off. i have recommended this to my family as well as friends . Even tho us 4 girls went on a hen do here i would defintaly be coming back with my boyfriend. We had a beautiful view overlooking the river with a balcony which was beautiful. There is nothing i would fault with this hotel and i will defintaly come back here. i feel any age group would enjoy it there and i am really looking foward to coming back. i think the staff miss us!!!!

This is the second year that we have stayed at this hotel. We recommended it to friends who came with us this year. It was just as we remembered. Would suggest using a three day travel card for public transport, tube nearby direct to centre, only four stops. Also great value was the hop on hop off city bus tour , river cruise for day and night included . Local people helpful and friendly. Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux. Un bon séjour avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le spa en particulier est de tres bonne qualité.

Staying in the Danubius Health Spa Resort Helia in Budapest was a very good experience. Hotel staff are very heplful and courteaous. Housekeeping was attentive as well as the snack shop - bar staff. The only negative I can say is the odd smell on the 3rd floor lobby as one got off the elevator. Smelled like cooking gas fumes of some sort?? or perhaps sewer gas fumes? Otherwise I was pleased with my stay at the hotel. Very convenient to everything in Budapest. Enjoyed the fitness room facilities, too.

We were surprised at how conveniently the hotel was located to shopping areas. parks, public transportation and the river. The hotel was lovely, the facilities of the were spotless and very "user friendly." The hotel staff was helpful in many ways, including helping us procure tickets for a play that were generally hard to get. We would definitely go back.

Schnelles und problemloses Aus- und Einchecken, freundliches mehrsprachiges Personal. Kostenloser Parkplatz und sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung, Bushaltestelle vorm Haus, zur U-Bahn 7-8 Min. zu Fuß, der öffentliche Nahverkehr in Budapest ist sehr gut entwickelt. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit moderner, funktioneller Einrichtung, Klimaanlage gut individuell regulierbar. Frühstück mit 15 Euro pro Person zu teuer für das Gebotene, aber man kann die Zimmer ohne Frühstück buchen und hat dann eine Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.

This hotel was perfect for us - lovely views of the Danube, not far from public transport, excellent facilities and great spa. We didn't mind not being right in the centre of Budapest so this hotel was perfect for all the things we wanted to do during our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and recommended a fantastic local restaurant for me to share my 40th birthday with my friends. If I return to Budapest I will stay here!

Hotel de luxe à prix tres abordables compte tenu de la promotion (3 nuits pour le prix de 2). L'ensemble piscine-spa est génial après une journée de visite. A noter, le parking s"sécurisé" gratuit pour les 3 jours.

Thsi hotel was, definetly, perfect! Well located, in a peaceful neighborhood, near the subway and with the most simpathetic staff ever! Recomend, for sure!

Nice emplois

The Helia is a fine hotel, though it was a little further out then I would have liked, a 25 minute walk to the Chain Bridge. That said the hotel was equipped with a wonderful pool.

Prices are very high besause a breakfast don´t include. Breakfast costs 15,00 € / person / day
