This property, once outstanding, now shows signs of wear and would benefit from targeted maintenance. The staff remains exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout the stay. Guest rooms are spacious and furnished in a classic style; however, the carpets require more thorough cleaning, and the air-conditioning units need better calibration to cope effectively with summer heat. Several minor, easily addressable issues currently prevent this hotel from delivering an excellent overall experience. With modest improvements, the property could readily return to its former high standard.

Stayed at Astoria for 3 nights with breakfast included. I must say the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choices and the location was convenient. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no phone or fridge in the room.

러시아 시절 숙소라고해서 레트로를 즐기고 싶어갔는데 리모델링 증축한 호실을 주신듯요. 감성은 리셉션에서 느끼고 객실은 아주 쾌적하고 청결했어요. 무엇보다 조식이 좋았습니다. 가성비 호텔로 추천해요.

除了房子歷史悠久 設備老舊外 真的還不錯 這次訂兩床 空間大 有衣櫃 內有衣服架七 八個及牆壁還有四個掛勾 這是一般少見 不用擔心衣服要放哪裡 門禁用卡片刷 不是用鑰匙 電梯有兩個 很復古哦 早餐不錯 豐 雖然每天菜色都沒變富 位置在地鐵站 Astoria 旁 搭M2 但沒有手扶梯 需爬樓梯 電車4749 也在旁邊 倒是回去 機場 要在上一站 Deak Ferenc ter 搭車100E 票價2500元匈牙利 不過從飯店走到約400公尺 托行李過去約10分鐘 還算近 沒有沒有碎石路

Zentral gelegenes Hotel am Astoria. Der Airportbus 100E hält hier, was es ziemlich einfach macht. Das Zimmer ist traditionell ausgestattet, sehr sauber und das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe.

오랜역사를 가진 호텔인 만큼 시설은 약간은 노후됐지만 그래도 화장실도 깨끗하고 방도 넓고 고풍스럽고 직원들도 친절하고 지내기 편했습니다.

Todo muy bien

Good: Big spacious rooms, heritage vibes, courteous staff, good breakfast, prime location with metro and tram stops just outside the hotel. They also arranged an extra bed for my kid which rarely happens in Europe. Proximity to ALDI, souvenir shop's, subway, McDonald's and many other food outlets. Bad: Not complaining but a bigger Television with some more channels would make it more wholesome.

Everything was wonderful

We stayed here with our 10-year-old grandson for a city break. They upgraded us to a suite, which was very spacious and made life a lot easier for us. Thank you. The service was excellent from the reception through to the bar staff and the waiters. All were pleasant and friendly. I guess some would say the hotel is 'dated' but I prefer to think of it as classical, a step back in time. I would certainly stay here again.

An old hotel that has seen better days. We slept in the wing with renovated rooms which were modern and clean. But the level of outside noise was astonishing. Restaurant is old and tired decor makes you not want to eat. Staff was very professional and polite

A very nice hotel - it's old in style but it's very clean and comfortable. Reception was very helpful and polite when we had an enquiry. It's a perfect place to stay for a few nights (we stayed for three nights). We caught the bus from the airport and it dropped us one minute away from the hotel, and there are many transport links nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Er hotel i centrum. Bliver taget lidt tilbage i tiden. Værelset er tilbage til 1980, men rent og pænt. Morgenmaden er okay der mangler ikke noget, dog lidt underligt, at der ikke var bacon og pølser hver dag. Placering af hotellet var rigtigt godt. Der var ikke lagt at gå til de fleste serværdigheder.

Ths is a 111year old hotel. Do not expect modern convenience. However you can upgrade to their new rooms situated at the attached back of the original building. Nice breakfast. Dining area is excellent.

Our family of 3 have had a great time to stay in central location in Budapest. Close to bus stop from Airport, close to Metro. Walking distance to many attractions. Hotel is beautiful interior, beautiful friendly and professional personal. Lovely breakfast. Big and comfortable rooms. We have no issues during our stay in February. Only positive feelings.

Very good location in the heart of Budapest. Most attractions in walking distance. Subway station just by the hotel (same name like the hotel “Astoria”) The room furniture a bit simply, but the lobby and the restaurant and all common areas are beautiful.

Lovely old hotel with wood panelling and fancy tea room. Beds are comfy and rooms warm. Enjoyed out stay.

We found parking on a street 2 blocks away. The parking meter didn't work properly. We asked the hotel staff what to do and they advised parking elsewhere; but, by the time we got back to the car 20 minutes later, we had a 200+ dollar parking ticket. The staff, food, decorum, etc., were all lovely within the Danubius Hotel Astoria.

Çok merkezi bir konumda. Havalimanından otele direkt seferle otobüs ulaşımı var. Gezilecek neredeyse her yer yürüme mesafesinde. Çok temiz bir otel. Kahvaltısı güzel.

Ett mycket fint hotell med gamla fint bevarade hotell detaljer med anor från tidigt sekelskifte. Vi bodde på den nyrenoverade delen vilket var en tyst och lugn del av hotellet men utan utsikt. Rummen var fräscha och välstädade med sköna sängar. Maten var bra om än lite sparsmakad men helt ok. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma och vi fick mycket tips och hjälp av dem och speciellt Charles som var super bra och hjälpte oss med det mesta. Hotellet ligger centralt mitt smeten och nära Donau , gångavstånd till det mesta och Hop on Hop stannar utanför , liksom buss och spårvagn. Bra pris , bra läge , bra service , rekommenderas verkligen av oss !!!

We really enjoyed this historic building. The interior, finished down to the details, was amazingly beautiful. The location in the heart of the city brings in traffic and city sounds. We wore earplugs and slept very well! The hotel has very good transport links all over the city, including the airport bus (100E) stop about 50 meters away, in the direction of arrival. It is a 5-minute walk back to the airport bus stop. Hungarian State Opera is about 15 minutes of walk, Gellért Thermal Bath 20 minutes. Breakfast was served in an extremely beautiful hall. The coffee was very good and strong! The eggs were made as orderd. The beds in the hotel room (409) were exceptionally good - the mattresses were firm baut not too much. The blanket was big but not heavy. The pillows were of moderate size, 2 pieces. The room was clean and spacious.

Certainly! Water accumulates in the shower and drains very slowly, causing leakage from the shower to the bathroom floor.

Grand old property that has seen better days, but we stayed in the wing whose rooms were renovated, so we were totally happy. And the hotel's location is excellent, walkable to the Danube and Vaci Utca. We especially liked the convenience of the Astoria subway entrance just outside the front door. Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. We'd stay here again.

Good: במילה אחת - הכל! צוות המלון מסביר פנים, ניקיון ברמה גבוהה, ארוחת בוקר עשירה למרות שאני מקפיד לא לאכול כמעט בכלל בשר מחוץ לארץ עדיין היו שפע ירקות, ביצים קשות, חמאה, סוגי לחמים, דגנים ועוד שפע של דברים יחסית למדינה באירופה. ישנם מספיק עמדות לקפה.. והשוקו חם הכי טעים שם! Bad: למרות הניקיון המצוין לא טרחו לרוקן את הפחים בשירותים ובחדר השינה עד שהגיעו למצב קיצוני.

While the first 2 are busy main roads with public transportation - including airport bus - stops, Magyar street is a more quiet side street. Staff was wonderful. Definitely recommend the family room as it has 3 balconies, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms.

An sich war alles sehr gut - lediglich die Teppiche im Zimmer waren derart alt und mit alten Schmutzflecken übersät - das war unangenehm. Das Zimmer wurde von ihrem Personal immer bestens gereinigt - also die Dame kann nichts dafür, dass vom Hotelmanagement so alte, mit Flecken behaftete Teppiche, im Zimmer sind.

El hotel está muy bien , sin embargo hay mucho ruido por el tranvía que pasa a una cuadra y tiembla mucho .. pero el personal , el desayuno es excelente !!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Die Lage super, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Für uns hat nur der Wasserkocher gefehlt. Wir buchen gerne nochmal.

Hatta havalimanından gelince bile kapısında iniyorsunuz. Biz burada yemek yemedik. Kahvaltısı biraz pahalı. Bizim kaldığımız dönemlerde kişi başı 15 Euro’ya denk geliyor. Ancak hemen yanında süpermarket var oradan bir şeyler alıp kişi başı üç Euro‘ya çok kaliteli bir kahvaltı yapabilirsiniz.Rooms: Odalar geniş ferah ve temizNearby activities: Yakında büyük bir süpermarket var. Todo en perfectas condiciones.

Good: Die Lage ist unschlagbar Bad: Sauberkeit. Wir sind nicht pingelig aber das Bad war uns zu nachlässig geputzt. Beim Duschschlauch dachten wir erst, dass es Kalk wäre, aber es war Dreck. Zu viele Haare auf dem Boden und ein Wasserhahn kann auch mal ausgetauscht werden, wenn putzen nicht mehr hilft und er auch nicht mehr dicht ist.
