Good: Das Frühstück war sehr gut, allerdings hätte ich mir mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Die Lage war perfekt, da die u Bahn direkt vom Hotel startet. Die außergewöhnliche Ausstattung des Hotels. Alle Angestellten waren sehr nett. Bad: Ich hatte zwar das ruhige Zimmer wie gewünscht, jedoch hatte es keinen Ausblick.

Good: Das Haus liegt hervorragend in Budapest, fast alle Attraktionen der Stadt sind entweder zu Fuß oder nach kurzer Fahr mit Bahn oder Bus erreichbar. Astoria Hotel gibt es schon über 100 Jahre, man merkt es dem Personal an, die sehr entspannt und souverän auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingehen können. Good: Schönes mittelgroßes Hotel im alten Stil der österreichisch-ungarischen Kaiserzeit. Dadurch hat es einen schönen alten Flair, den man in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Von außen wirkt das Hotel eigentlich relativ schmucklos, allerdings ist es innen um so schöner. Frühstück super, Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich. Zu beachten: Zimmerreinigung muss an der Lobby in Auftrag gegeben werden und passiert nicht von alleine! Bad: Badezimmertürstock nach einem früheren Wasserschaden unten aufgequollen, sollte repariert werden. Die Bitte, ein paar Postkarten (gegen Bezahlung) zur Post zu geben, wurde abgelehnt und auf einen Postkasten und den Kauf von Briefmarken bei einem Postamt verwiesen - so etwas sollte bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie zum Service gehören. Das alles waren aber Kleinigkeiten, die dem tollen Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch getan haben.

Good: Ein wunderschönes Hotel, in dem man die Hoch-Zeit und den Glanz des alten Budapest mehr als erahnen kann. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, fußläufig und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, hübsch und gleichzeitig funktional eingerichtet und die Betten waren schön groß und die Matratzen bequem. Bad: Da gibt es nichts! Das Zimmer entsprach zu 100 % meinen Erwartungen.

Good: Lage sehr zentral, schönes Hotel mit k.u.k.-Charme. Tolles Frühstück in stilvollem Ambiente, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Etwas laut, da direkt an großer Straßenkreuzung gelegen, war aber durch Klimaanlage und schalldichte Fenster kein Problem. Bad: Nichts.

Good: Man fühlt sich wie in einer Zeitreise, Interieur wie Anfang 20er Jahrhundert aber auch das Personal war sehr höflich, freundlich und hilfsbereit, ihr Eleganz und gute Manieren lassen das Niveau des Hotels steigen. Im Frühstücksbüffet war riesige Auswahl und immer frisch vorbereitet. Bis Ende der Frühstückzeit war immer wieder aufgefüllt. Personal war immer offen für Fragen und Lösungen, unser Wohlbefinden war für Sie das Wichtigste. Man fühlte sich wirklich in besten Händen. Das Hotel ist auch sehr familienfreundlich. Bad: Unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, wir haben am ersten Abend ein Party im Nachbarzimmer gehabt, das Personal hat sie aber aufgefordert, leiser zu sein. Leider die außengeräusche waren auch sehr störend, mit Blick auf die Hauptstraße ist es auch verständlich.

Good: Ein wahres Traditionshaus aus der guten alten Zeit. Perfekte Lage mit quasi "eigener" Metro-Station Astoria vor dem Haus. Aber auch zu Fuß sind viele Dinge schon bequem zu erreichen.

Good: Die Lage war top. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten konnte man zu Fuß erreichen. Das weihnachtliche Ambiente im Hotel war sehr schön. Man wird mit einem wirklich guten und umfangreichen Frühstücksbuffet verwöhnt. Das Personal war freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter.

Good: Beginnend mit der Rezeption, dem Service , das Frühstück und endend mit der Zimmerreinigung war alles sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend Bad: Nichts war negativ.

Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme, weil es historisch so wunderbar erhalten ist. Und das Personal ist erstklassig.

Good: Ein Hotel, das äusserlich nicht besonders attraktiv, doch innen ein Schatz ist. Superlage durch direkten Zugang zur Metro und viele Buslinien vor der Tür. Sehr freundliches Personal, absolute Sauberkeit und vor allem supergemütlich. Es gibt Verkehrslärm, doch erträglich. Besuchen Sie unbedingt das Cafe und Restaurant. Das Frühstück war toll. Allerdings schmeckte der Kaffee aus dem Automaten nicht, das ist aber in Budapest überall so. Bad: Alles bestens, gerne wieder

Good: Frühstück, Möblierung, Zimmergröße und natürlich die Lage sind ausgezeichnet. Bad: Die Bäder sind nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand. Aber irgendwas muß ja den Unterschied zu einem 5*Hotel machen. Und daß wir ein Zimmer im Anbau hatten, wo der Gang nicht mehr so prächtig ist, wie im Haupthaus.

Das Hotel geht in Richtung, Luxus,ist sehr schön und ist nicht weit vom jüdischen Viertel und der, großen Synagoge entfernt!! Alles mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen!!

Good: Das Früstück-Buffet war äussert vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig. Viele ungarische Spezialitäten -> wunderbar ;-) Das personal war generell sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein Grund mehr wieder zukommen.

Good: Sehr schönes Hotel mit Flair, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, spricht englich und teilweise sogar deutsch. Die Zimmer sind sauber, klimatisiert und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Fenster sind schallisoliert, was auf Grund der Hotellage auch Sinn macht, aber dafür befindet man sich im Stadtzentrum. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, so daß für jeden etwas dabei ist. Bad: Wenn man etwas bemängeln möchte dann sind es die Kaffeeautomaten im Frühstücksraum an denen man sich morgens seinen Kaffee holt, hier kann es schon mal zu kurzen Wartezeiten kommen, das Ende der Kaffeezubereitung wird dann jeweils mit einem etwas lästigem Piepton quittiert.

Good: zentrales, altes , gut geführtes Stadthotel Man ist sehr schell imm Zentrum Budapests, U-Bahnstation vor der Hautür. Die Küche schließt leider tewas früh für Theaterbesucher. Eswäre gut, wenn es och einen kleinen Snack für späte Gäste geben würde.

Good: Es ist ein schönes und elegantes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr bequem,ich habe geschlafen wie auf Wolken. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr Zentral,was ich sehr schön fand. Mein erster Wahl wäre immer wieder dieses Hotel. Was ich euch auch sehr empfelen kann. Bad: Das wir zu kurz da waren.

Good: Gebäude in altem Stil mit passend plüschiger Einrichtung, eines der wenigen Hotels in Budapest, wo das Mobiliar noch zum Baustil einigermaßen paßt (natürlich keine Antiquitäten von 1900 sondern neue Möbel im alten Stil, moderne Ausstattung wie Aufzug, Klima-Anlage, Kühlschrank + Minibar selbstverständlich auch vorhanden). Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, wunderschönes Cafe im alten Stil, das den ganzen Tag geöffnet hat, leckere Konditorwaren, gute Küche (was jedoch in Ungarn fast überall so ist), abends Life-Musik (Zigeuner). Nostalgieliebhaber kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Bad: Anfragen per e-mail werden erst nach Wochen beantwortet. Bei wichtigen Fragen lieber anrufen, gesamtes Personal spricht Englisch oder Deutsch. Hotel liegt an sehr verkehrsreicher Straße, der Strassenlärm ist jedoch nicht so schlimm, daß der Schlaf gestört würde. Parkmöglichkeiten sehr schlecht, selbst Taxis finden schwer eine Möglichkeit zum Halten. Da das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen ist + unmittelbar an einer U-Bahn-Haltestelle, zudem Taxis sehr presiwert sind, besteht jedoch keine Notwendigkeit, mit dem Auto hinzufahren. (Auto am Stadtrand in einem Parkhaus abstellen für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes)

Wirklich freundliches Personal, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Saubere Zimmer, etwas altmodisch eingerichtet. Gutes Frühstück und sehr gute Lage nah des jüdischen Viertels.

Sehr schickes Hotel. Altmodische Lobby, aber saubere Aufmachung. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück umfangreich. Die Lage macht den größten positiven Aspekt aus, da man mitten in der Stadt ist und alles sehr schnell von dort aus erreicht.

Den Hotel war ich nicht drinnen und bin ich schon Deutschland

Good: Die Lage ist sehr gut. Fast alle histor. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen gewesen. Daher sehr praktisch. Sowie sehr viele Geschäfte, Lokale etc. in nächster Umgebung. Das Frühstück im besonders schönen Ambiente war sehr vielfältig. Sowie sehr üppig und sehr, sehr lecker. Das auch deutschsprechende Hotelpersonal war ausgesprochen freundlich, entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit: So konnten wir dort gleich Reservierungen und sogar Eintrits-Tickets hilfreicherweise buchen und erwerben. Wir sind sehr froh gewesen, hier unseren Aufenthalt gebucht zu haben, vielen Dank.

Die Armaturen im Badezimmer sind hässlich und sehr abgenutzt. Die Sanierung ist dringend notwendig... Mit Auto vor dem Hotel anhalten ist die Glücksache.

Good: Das Entrée, die Atmosphäre, das Personal und vor allem die Lage am Rande des alten jüdischen Viertels - verkehrsgünstig gelegen (U-Bahn vom Hauptbahnhof und Tram direkt vor der Tür) und vieles super zu Fuß erreichbar. Bad: Das Badezimmer ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, was man auch sieht. Aber das störte uns nicht weiter, da alles funktionierte und es sauber war.

Good: Frühstück war hervorragend! Große Auswahl! ... täglich auch immer wieder andere Leckereien...!!! Bad: Beim Auschecken musste ich mein Gepäck selbst transportieren...!!! Als Frau sogar den größten Koffer!!! Der Herr vom Personal nahm das kleine Gepäcks stück!!!☹️

Good: Gute gelegen, sind die Räume grossräumig und sauber. Das Haus hat eine angenehme traditionelle Athmosphere.

Good: Die Lage und das historische Flair sind absolut Traumhaft. Innerhalb weiniger Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt zum Einkaufen oder an der Donau. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Beim Frühstück sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Sehr sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Bad: -

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, ruhige Atmosphäre und sehr gute Lage, auch in Verbindung zum Flughafen.

Good: Ausgezeichnetes, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Müsli, Obst in großer Auswahl. Spiegelei oder Omelette, falls die vorhandene Eierspeise nicht reichen sollte, auf Bestellung. Portierloge mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern bestens besetzt. Wir bekamen, weil das Hotel gut gebucht war, statt des bestellten DeLuxeDoppels eine Eck-Suite im 5. Stock. Insgesamt ein charmantes Haus, das uns, weil wir schon etwas älter sind, sehr gut gefallen hat, in hervorragender Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des jüdischen Lebens. Wir planen schon, nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen, weil Budapest eine sehr schöne, lebenslustige Stadt ist, die man vom Hotel Astoria aus sehr gut ergehen kann. Bad: Man kann mit dem Auto vor dem Hotel nur kurz stehen bleiben, um das Gepäck auszuladen. Die nächstgelegene, empfohlene Franklin-Garage, die im Hotel bezahlt werden kann, ist etwas mühsam, da das Auto per Lift geparkt wird und so hat die Abholung 25 Minuten gedauert. Man braucht dazu etwas Geduld, es ist aber eben wegen der Parkplatzsituation nicht anders möglich. Ein notwendiges Übel sind die lautesten Rettungsautos der Welt, wobei die Fenster des Hotels hervorragend schallisoliert sind, aber dafür reicht es nicht immer. Man würde sie auch anderswo hören, weil sie so laut sind.

Besonders gute Lage in der City. Sehr höfliche Bedienung und Service. Nostalgisches Flair, Frühstück top. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Sehr schönes historisches Gebäude im Herzen von der Innenstadt von Budapest. Es stammt aus dem Jahr 1914 und war das erste Hitel in Budapest, das nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg in der Stadt geöffnet hat. Der Name stammt vom legendären Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Das Ambiente der öffentlichen Räume ist Jugendstil. Lobby und Café/Restaurant sind klassisch elegant. Die Zimmer sind normal eingerichtet, die Bäder sind neu. Ich empfehle die Deluxe-Zimmer. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich und gästeorientiert. Wir haben nicht gefrühstückt sondern in der Mittagszeit Kaffee getrunken und einen hausgemachten Kuchen genossen. Die Preise für Budapest und das Ambiente waren angemessen. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Hotelzimmer war gut. Es gibt eine Parkgarage unweit vom Hotel in der Reáltanoda utca 5 (Franklin Garage), im Hotel gibt's darauf 1000 HUF Rabatt. Das Auto dort wird aber von Servicekräften geparkt und man kommt nicht ohne Weitereis zwischendurch ans Auto dran. Ich empfehle den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel auf jeden Fall.

Hier hat man den Eindruck "Aufgewärmtes" serviert zu bekommen

Good: Sehr stilvolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Super Lage, direkt an der U-Bahn Station und man erreicht die Fußgängerzone in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und nan hat eine riesige Auswahl. Bad: Duschvorhang in der Badewanne ist nicht 4* Niveau.

Rezeption freundlich (deutsch). Frühstück gut, alles was man benötigt. Unser Zimmer war recht ruhig (nur die extrem aufheulenden Motorräder nerven). Hervorragende Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Rentner fahren immer kostenlos!! Alles in allem hervorragendes Hotel, Budapest ist immer eine Reise wert.
