Celebration of the Bread of the Hungarians20 August 2018
This year for the eighth time counties, big cities, and small towns all over Hungary and other places of the Charpathian Basin where Hungarian minorities live (from Sepsiszentgyörgy till Lendva, from Bratislava till Zenta) offer their wheat that are gathered and milled in a ceremonial fashion.
The flour that are born from this ceremony makes the bread, the very first one of the year that feeds the hungry and the poor.
