Things to do in Győr
Danubius Hotel Rába
There’s so much to see in Győr that almost every step you take brings you to another unique landmark, such as the Cathedral, the Zichy Palace or the Arc of the Covenant statue. Strolling among the beautifully restored buildings of the Baroque main square in which the hotel is situated, it’s easy to imagine that you’ve travelled back in time. But as well as the listed buildings and monuments, it’s also worth exploring “Püspökerdő” (Bishop’s Forest) in the west of the town, the atmospheric banks of the River Rába, or the city’s most beautiful park on the picturesque Radó Island.
