Good: Victoria on Reception was really nice and helpfull.A great girl. Bad: Waiters in the cafe a bit miserable.A few more stations on T V would be nice.

Das Danubius Hotel Astoria ist ein sehr elegantes und auf den Komfort seiner Besucher ausgerichtetes Hotel im Herzen von Budapest. Viele interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von hier fußläufig erreichbar, sodass es vor allem für Städtetouristen eine ideale Unterkunft darstellt, auch zu angemessenen Preisen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich, es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Regionale Spezialitäten und internationale Köstlichkeiten werden gleichermaßen angeboten. Ein Kritikpunkt, für den das Hotel allerdings freilich nichts kann, ist die Lage an zwei stark befahrenen Hauptstraßen. Hier kommen regelmäßig auch des Nachts Einsatzfahrzeuge vorbei, sodass ich dringend die Buchung eines abseits der Straße gelegenen Zimmers raten möchte. Es kann sonst wirklich sehr laut sein, auch die Wände sind recht hellhörig. Da wir uns sonst aber sehr wohlgefühlt haben, werde ich hierfür keinen Stern abziehen.

es hat uns sehr gut bei Ihnen gefallen, sollten wir noch mal nach Budapest kommen, dann wählen wir auf jeden fall das Danubius Astoria Hotel. Lage ideal man war überall schnell da, Zimmer im 6 Stock schön groß und sehr sauber. Frühstück super, es war alles da. Service auch sehr gut.

Good: Ο κύριος στην υποδοχή ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και κατατοπιστικός,το δωμάτιο μεγάλο για 1-2 άτομα το μπάνιο επίσης ωραίο με όλα τα κομφόρ ,το κρεβάτι πολύ άνετο.Επίσης το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο· είχε ό,τι τραβάει η ψυχή σου. Το ξενοδοχειο βρίσκεται επίσης πολύ κοντά στο μετρό και για το Ορλύ το αεροδρόμιο 20 λεπτά χωρίς κίνηση. Bad: Είχα κάνει κράτηση μέσω booking και είχα ζητήσει δωμάτιο με θέα στην πόλη αλλά δυστυχώς η πόρτα ήταν κλειδωμένη και το παράθυρο δεν άνοιγε οπότε δεν είδα και πολλά πράγματα αφού έμεινα ένα βράδυ.Το πρωί λίγο κάτι μπόρεσα αλλά σχεδόν τίποτα….

Good: The location is perfect in front of metro station and just 3-4 minutes walking to the city center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay here definitely again when visiting budapest. Bad: Nothing except at the final day i found a small spider on the ground of my room.

A classy building, great restaurant, and excellent location. It is only a 7 minute walk to the Hungarian National Museum

Excellent location!!! Metro station outside and a 5 minute walk away from the bustling jewish district with its nightlife and cafes. This hotel has actual character, you sense its history and if walls could talk... Great buffet breakfast. But yeah its the unique charm that won me over. Staff are polite and professional. Loved our stay in Budapest and the Astoria was a great spot to base ourselves.

Familie værelset som vi boede i havde en perfekt størrelse. dejlig morgenmadsbuffet. Eneste minus var den megen støj fra gaderne.

Good: המיקום של בית המלון. ארוחת הבוקר טובה מאוד. השרות של פקיד הקבלה אנדריאן היה טוב במיוחד. עזר לנו לשנות לחדר יותר שקט עם מקלחון . רצינו לשדרג את החדר אבל זה היה בלתי אפשרי . אבל סה"כ היה בסדר גמור.

Centrally located, so we were able to walk to the chain Bridge, The Hungarian National Museum, and then to the port to meet our cruise ship.

Good: Lovely room ..... breakfast was very good choice ... location must be the best in Budapest ... sitting literally next door to Metro, Tram, Bus links and walking distance to all over main centre. This will be our must stay hotel next visit. Bad: Seems petty, but as you asked me .... breakfast hot drinks machines never really produced hot enough water or coffee etc, Simple solution - we made a hot drink in room afterwards using the kettle.

Great hotel at the best position in Budapest. Quick and easy access to attractions, airport, entertainments, etc. Nice and accommodating staff. The room was well looked-after. The brekkie was copious and tasty. Good on you Astoria!

Lovely hotel! Loved the architecture and the decor, it felt homely and comfortable. The room was big and comfy, and the staff friendly and helpful. They were so helpful when it came to our baby, providing us with a crib and also a kettle when we requested one so that we could make her bottles of feed. The location is perfect for exploring Budapest, and we found so many lovely coffee shops and cute places to eat nearby. Absolutely fabulous stay!

Good: Hotel was very nice, beautiful old style building with the luxury of a new one. Rooms were nice (we've booked the superior double room) with comfy beds. There was no parking at the hotel, only at a location nearby. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Bad: -

We had a great time in Budapest and the Danubius was one of the reasons we had a great time. The room was modern and clean with a great shower. The room was on a side street and we slept soundly. Great hotel, we loved it.

Good: Das Frühstücksbuffet war gross und reichnaltig. Der Toaster war eine Engstelle, aber das kann man selber lösen. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden und gut. Die Lage war an der Metro, jedoch sind wir fast immer zu Fuss unterwegs gewesen. (Lag aber am schönen Wetter)

Good: It was an old world hotel, with beautiful wood, and antiques. A great breakfast was included in the beautiful dining room. Right outside the hotel is the entrance to the Red Metro 2 tram that we used a lot. Bad: No bathtub!

Good: The old fashioned style of the hotel, very Art-deco, especially the restaurant. In a great location for sightseeing and a direct bus from the airport. Bad: The outside of the building looked unkempt, the area was very busy, and traffic was noisy.

Good: Konumu muhteşem. Şehir merkezine çok yakın, her yere yürüme mesafesinde. Sadece Kahramanlar meydanına otelin tam karşısındaki duraktan 72 no. Otobüse binerek gittim, yürüyerek de 45 dk. İdi. Havalimanından 100E no.lu otobüse binip (6 euro) Hotelin tam karşısındaki astoria durağında iniyorsunuz. Hotelin dibinde metro durağı var. Odam muhteşemdi. Tertemiz ve çok güzeldi. Zaten sadece yatmadan yatmaya girdiğim için hotelin başka bir şeyini kullanmadım. Odam sıcacık, küvet harika, sıcak su anında geliyordu. Bad: Hotelin lobisi çok havasız ve iç karartıcı. Ama sadece yatmadan yatmaya odama girdiğim için hotelin başka hiçbir şeyini kullanmadığım için hiç önemli olmadı benim için. Tavsiye olarak lobi restore edilip daha aydınlık olması sağlanabilir, fresh bir hava ile daha güzel kokması iyi olur.

Good: I liked the atmosphere in the hotel. It was the main point for choosing the hotel. Another factor for choosing was the location, it was very important for us to be in a central location because we didn't have a car. The hotel was clean and the staff was very kind. We didn't have anybproblems throughout our stay.

Good: Staff disponibile, posizione ottima, camera ampia. Direttamente sulla fermata metro di Astoria, sicuramente perfetto per raggiungere l'intera città comodamente con i mezzi e vicino a ristoranti e servizi essenziali di ogni tipo. Bad: L'incrocio sottostante è abbastanza rumoroso per il passaggio di mezzi di soccorso che impegnano l'intersezione con le sirene accese. Ma lo ritengo normale in una grande città.

Schönes Hotel in super Lage und super einfacher Transfer zum Flughafen

Good: Large room with comfortable beds. Historic hotel with beautiful decor. Great breakfast in beautiful dining room. Hotel is next to underground station and handy for bus stop for Airport bus. Bad: Not really a complaint, but some of the carpets were quite old and worn.

Good: Great welcome and all staff is speaking an excellent English. The bed are very comfortable. The decoration reminds of the period of a belle epoque. Bad: It was a bit hot in the room even I turned off the radiator.

Un buen hotel en una muy buena ubicación. Está en pleno centro, con todo a mano para poder recorrer la ciudad a pie. El servicio es atento y las habitaciones cómodas. El precio razonable.

Good: The location was great, stunning view 10 minutes away from Danova river and from vaci utca street. metro M2 have a station 3 meter from the hotel (exit H) There is a lot of fast food next to the hotel. Our recommendations is Pizza me (they have great pizza) Our room (the modern one) was clean and everything was new Super recommend this hotel! Bad: Wasn't enough food for vegetarian at breakfast, but there is an option to ask for omelet with vegetables and it was nice
