Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this smart hotel. Very comfortable room and esoecially enjoyed the fitness suite and spa facilities which were excellent. Very convenient position in relation to the main tourist areas-a pleasant walk along the Danube river to the Par;liament building.

Personale molto gentile, molto educato, sempre sorridente e molto preparato. Disponibile ad ogni tua richiesta.. Il pianista è davvero un artista ed io gli detto "bravo" con sincerità. Tutta l'atmosfera che è lì intorno è piacevole. Il personale di servizio nella sala ristorante è così solerte che devi stare attento che non ti porti via il cappuccino che stai ancora bevendo mentre ti sei alzato per prendere un dolcetto...... Comunque direi, per finire, hotel ottimo e gente ungherese meravigliosa!!!!!!!!! Budapest mi ha incantata......

Impeccable, dispose d'un SPA, d'une salle de Fitness. Les chambres sont très propres. On pourrait reprocher la taille de la baignoire, mais il y a 1 piscine et 3 bains thermaux. Un peu loin du centre à pied, mais avec les transports en commun, cela prend 10-15 minutes.

we loved it!! the hotel was amazing and the staff were so helpful they helped us with the best restaurants and clubs to go to and how to get to places in the day aswel as night, they all spoke very good english so that was such a help, inpartically one member of staff called Gylia was so good in telling us what clubs to go to and was extremely helpful kind and polite. It was the best hotel i've ever been to as it had everything there and was near to the metro which we didn't use at night but day time was safe.there was a supermarket literally oposite which was great for daily essentials. The hotel have their own taxi company who were very helpful as they told us how much other taxis should be asking for so u no your not gettin ripped off. i have recommended this to my family as well as friends . Even tho us 4 girls went on a hen do here i would defintaly be coming back with my boyfriend. We had a beautiful view overlooking the river with a balcony which was beautiful. There is nothing i would fault with this hotel and i will defintaly come back here. i feel any age group would enjoy it there and i am really looking foward to coming back. i think the staff miss us!!!!

Das Hotel und Personal ist sehr nett. Das Frühstück für 10 Euro sehr gut. Die Thermalbäder wunderbar. Alles wie in der Hotelbeschreibung. Gerne würden wir wieder kommen.

The use of the thermal spa service was exactly what was needed . The Aqua Aerobics class was a wonderful start to the day. Would suggest using a three day travel card for public transport, tube nearby direct to centre, only four stops. Also great value was the hop on hop off city bus tour , river cruise for day and night included . Local people helpful and friendly. Thank you people of Budapest for our warm welcome. will be back soon.

Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux. Un bon séjour avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le spa en particulier est de tres bonne qualité.

Staying in the Danubius Health Spa Resort Helia in Budapest was a very good experience. Hotel staff are very heplful and courteaous. Housekeeping was attentive as well as the snack shop - bar staff. The only negative I can say is the odd smell on the 3rd floor lobby as one got off the elevator. Smelled like cooking gas fumes of some sort?? or perhaps sewer gas fumes? Otherwise I was pleased with my stay at the hotel. Very convenient to everything in Budapest. Enjoyed the fitness room facilities, too.

We were surprised at how conveniently the hotel was located to shopping areas. parks, public transportation and the river. The hotel was lovely, the facilities of the were spotless and very "user friendly." The hotel staff was helpful in many ways, including helping us procure tickets for a play that were generally hard to get. We would definitely go back.

Schnelles und problemloses Aus- und Einchecken, freundliches mehrsprachiges Personal. Kostenloser Parkplatz und sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung, Bushaltestelle vorm Haus, zur U-Bahn 7-8 Min. zu Fuß, der öffentliche Nahverkehr in Budapest ist sehr gut entwickelt. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit moderner, funktioneller Einrichtung, Klimaanlage gut individuell regulierbar. Frühstück mit 15 Euro pro Person zu teuer für das Gebotene, aber man kann die Zimmer ohne Frühstück buchen und hat dann eine Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.

This hotel was perfect for us - lovely views of the Danube, not far from public transport, excellent facilities and great spa. We didn't mind not being right in the centre of Budapest so this hotel was perfect for all the things we wanted to do during our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and recommended a fantastic local restaurant for me to share my 40th birthday with my friends. If I return to Budapest I will stay here!

Hotel de luxe à prix tres abordables compte tenu de la promotion (3 nuits pour le prix de 2). L'ensemble piscine-spa est génial après une journée de visite. A noter, le parking s"sécurisé" gratuit pour les 3 jours.

Thsi hotel was, definetly, perfect! Well located, in a peaceful neighborhood, near the subway and with the most simpathetic staff ever! Recomend, for sure!

The Helia is a fine hotel, though it was a little further out then I would have liked, a 25 minute walk to the Chain Bridge. That said the hotel was equipped with a wonderful pool.

Only good things to say about this hotel. The spa facilities are great, we were in the pools every morning before we went sightseeing. Did look like there were more old travellers, so not a party place for youngsters. Great transport links. Only downside is that you have to pay for wireless internet, as a 4 star it should be complimentary.

The hotel & staff were excellent, but there were two minor differences from other hotels we have stayed in. (1) A bit of a problem getting extra pillows (only 1 per person) as there were no extras in the room. (2) Coffee & tea facilities provided but NO milk, we had to purchase tghis at the local super market. Otherwise a great stay, loved the pools and the sauna/steam rooms.

This hotel was superb. Well run, clean and completely stress free. Only critisism was a bit mean with tea and cofee sachets for the room.

The hotel was located just outside of the downtown area of Budapest. The hotel had there own cabs with professional drivers that gave great service at a normal rate. Watch the other taxis carefully as some will try to rip you off. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. We found the spa very useful with the steam rooms and saunas and different baths. Well worth the money, very affordable.

Wir haben uns aus mehreren Gründen für dieses Hotel entschieden: sehr gute Ausstattung mit Spa-Bereich und Thermal-Bad, kostenloser Parkplatz, Blick auf die Donau, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. In allen diesen Punkten konnte das Hotel glänzen. Darüber hinaus waren die Zimmer gut ausgestattet und sauber. Auch alles rund um die Rezeption war klasse. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenso empfehlenswert. Dass das Hotel nicht direkt in der City liegt, war kein Problem, da die Anbindung sehr gut ist. Mit dem Auto ca. 3 Minuten bis in die City.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on business and leisure trips to Budapest. The facilities of the the hotel are excellent with a wonderfull spa on site .The staff are are all friendly and welcoming. The hotel is slightly away from the centre but there are some excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you want to get to the centre you can catch the local transport, which in Budapest is cheap, efficient and first class, or catch a taxi and it will take you there in less than 5 Min's. This is a very good 4 star hotel which I would recommend for leisure and business trips to Budapest.

The staff were helpful and helped with getting cruise tickets etc. The sauna was a genuine Finnish sauna with a proper sauna stove. Hot enough, that is. There is a steam sauna too. The free use of the saunas and pools are included with the room price. An extensive selection of different treatments, massages etc. available.

it is a good hotel, enjoyed evry minute of my stay, the only hitch being the room service menu is limited.

Thanks to everyone at the Danubius HSR Helia we had a great time in Budapest. We had a great welcome on our arrival and were given a nice room. It didn't overlook the river but we can't complain at all about it. The staff were friendly and well mannered, and really couldn't do enough for us. If we ever return to Budapest, we would have no hesitation but to book again at the same hotel.

Excellent Spa and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Danubius Helia Hotel for 4 nights and found it very clean and comfortable. We also had use of the pools which was a welcome bonus. Rooms were very well maintained and had a very high standard of cleanliness. My only fault was the pillows, we only had one each so asked at reception for another 2 but were told thay had ran out of pillows which I thought a bit like the pub with no beer. The two pillows duly arrived on our third day. We ate in both the Hotel restaurant and the cafe bar and were pleased with the food and the service in both. The hotel was in a nice quiet area with views of the River Danube. We used the metro quite a lot, it was only approx 300 metres from the hotel also the 79 bus goes to Heroes Square from just outside the hotel and there is also a metro station there. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and I would certainly stay there again should I return to Budapest.

Großes Hotel mit schönem SPA Bereich, etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums. Mehrsprachiges, freundliches Personal. Großer, heller Frühstücksraum, reichhhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet (Wurstplatte könnte etwas umfangreicher sein) und viele Bio-Produkte. Sehr gute Beleuchtung und Zimmerausstattung, Bademantel für Spa Besuch vorhanden. Etwas teuer : Parken (ca. 10,- Euro für 24 Stunden zusätzlich) vor allem da ein großer Parkplatz (kaum belegt) vorhanden ist und das Hotel etwas außerhalb des Zentrums liegt, könnte schon etwas günstiger sein. Das Frühstück mußte extra bezahlt wrden. Zu wenig Fernsehprogramme.

lugnt område, 4 hållplatser med trolleybus till smeten, nära till grymt bra restauranger där lokalbefolkningen njuter sin middag. Stor supermarket mittemot hotellet och även en kosmetikaaffär. Toppen spa, toppen massage.

Sehr schönes Health & Spa Hotel mit grossem Spa Bereich insbesondere Heilbäder mit Heilwasser, vielfältigem Sportmöglichkeiten, Gesundheitsmassagen unter ärztlicher Betreuung. Sehr bekanntes Hotel in Sachen Heilbäder etc. Geräumige Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstücksangebot sowie sehr nette Rezeption, mit vielen Fremdsprachenkenntnissen.

excellent hôtel , pour les chambres communicantes c est uniquement possible avec les chambres supérieures , ne pas hésiter à prendre le buffet le soir pour 19 euros par personne entrées froides et chaudes différents plats du milieu international ou hongrois dessert à volonté changement de plats cuisinés tous les jours, qualité des piscines dans cet hôtel 4 piscines avec des chaleurs différentes que du bonheur, ne pas hésitez à prendre un taxi ex: de la place des héros à l'hôtel 1150 ft soit environ 3,80 euros

このホテルに滞在を決めたのは部屋からガウンを着たままスパまで行くという体験がしたかったからです。ガウンのままスパに行くとルームキーのカードと交換でタオルを貸してもらえます。正直ハンガリーの温泉は装飾が素晴らしく趣があってよいのですが、その分古く、日本人の感覚でいくと衛生面で気になる人がいるのではないかと思いますが、このホテルのスパは衛生的で神経質な人でも大丈夫だと思います。サウナも2つありました。帰りももちろんガウンを着て部屋まで戻りますが、男女別のシャワールームがあるので、着替えることも可能だと思います。部屋は決して豪華ではありませんが、シンプルかつ清潔で、スパ込みの価格であることを考えるとお得だと思います。 また、ベルボーイの男性がとても気が利き、ホテル到着時にはすぐさまかけより荷物を持 っていただきましたし、次の日は当初から違うホテルに滞在予定でしたが、次のホテルへの交通手段の相談にも心よくのっていただけました。

6 dager i velvære og frister til snarlig gjentagelse. Får du rom mot Donau trenger du ikke ønske deg noe mer. Kunne vært to lenestoler istedetfor 1 lenestol og en kontorstol, men egentlig flisespikkeri. Regner med på gjenvisitt like over nyttår.

The hotel was excellent, clean, quiet, with very good spa and pools. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about.

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med fantastisk personal som alltid är serviceinriktade, vänliga och omtänksamma. Hotellet ligger lite utanför centrum men det finns trådbussar utanför hotellet som underlättar om man inte vill promenera. Det finns ett stort utbud av spa-behandlingar som är lätta att boka.

Vi hadde en fantastisk weekend i Budapest. Hotellet bar nok preg av at det var et konferansehotell hvor restauranten kunne være stengt om kveldene pga konferansemiddager. Buffematen svarte ikke til forventningene av det ungarske kjøkken men god frokost. Gå ut og spis middag. Spamulighetene mange og trengte ikke lang bestillingstid. Stort sett servicevennlig personale men ikke alle. Fikk god hjelp av Consignierene til å bestille resturan, taxi mm og de var pålitelige. Totalt sett fornyd.

We choosed Danubius Helia because of all the different treatments including sauna, warmwater pools etc. Trollybus right outside the hotel. A short walk to Budapests great Metrosystem. Just a few minuts to the city. Close to shoppingmalls because of the metro. Our second time in Budapest and we still enjoy the town.

Ble anbefalt dette hotellet av en ungarer som bor i Budapest. Vi var meget fornøyd med hotellet og pristilbudet vi fikk. Vi satte også stor pris på terminal badet, som i tillegg var gratis. Vi kan absolutt anbefale hotellet til andre. Hallfrid og Jan Eirik

Mycket bra! Alla Spabehandlingar vi provade var mycket prisvärda allt från pedikyr till massage. Ett extra plus för badrocken som låg fint inplastad och väntade. Väldigt trevlig och tjänstvillig hotellpersonal. Nära till liten affär och tunnelbana/spårvagn. Två hållplatser bort ligger den superstora West End shopping gallerian med allt du kan tänkas vilja köpa!! :-)

The Helia Spa Hotel is a gem of Budapest. It is in a quite location beside the river. The hotel and rooms are modern, quite and clean. The four pool spa is also a gem. If you really want to relax and enjoy Budapest and the spa life, stay at the Helia. The breakfast is excellent. Don't worry if it's not included in the price of the hotel. It's only a few Euros extra. There is easy access to the city center via an electric bus outside of the hotel and an easy transfer to an above ground, scenic route tram. It takes less than twenty minutes to get to the city center from the hotel via public transportation. The hotel staff is more than happy to answer any questions you have. But, be brave, purchase a public transportation pass and hop around beautiful Budapest. It's a great way to see the city and experience life the way the Hungarians do. The Helia Spa Hotel is the place to return to and start your day on a visit to Budapest.

Bad: versteckte nebenkosten wie Internett oder Parkplatzgebühren, letzten Tag wurde mir erklärt das man nur 30 Minuten Interrnett 1 mal benutzen kann nicht mehrmals dafür gabs eine andere Karte ( bezahlen Achtung Forint und Euro schwanken Täglich je nach kurs )

Very good Hotel,clean and with very efficient staff,especially at the front office desk. Check in and out,fast and flawless. Very much appreciated not having had to struggle with the local language,thanks to the capable english speaking staff.
