Important information for hotel check-in
We hereby inform you that, in accordance with the applicable laws, our Company is required to record the personal data – as specified by the law – of Guests using accommodation services in Hungary in the accommodation management software after scanning the Guests’ ID documents with the Document Reader app, and then forward the data to a database called Guest Information Closed Database (‘VIZA’).
For children under 14 years of age who use accommodation service, the data may also be recorded based on the statement of their representative. In contrast, Guests over 14 years of age are required to present to our Company an identification document, such as an ID card, driver’s license or travel document.
If no such document is presented, our Company shall refuse to provide accommodation.
Please note that DÁP [Digital Citizenship] or other electronic applications are not acceptable means of identification, so please make sure to bring one of the above ID documents with you!
For Guests who are Hungarian citizens, an ID card, driver’s license or passport is acceptable for identification purposes. For Guests from the European Union, an ID card or a passport is acceptable. For Guests from third countries, only a passport is acceptable for personal identification and document reading.
