The location was good. Nice amenities

We liked the location away from the center of the city, but accessible to everywhere. The health facilities and pools were exceptional and immaculate. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and high quality. There was an abundance of food and something for everyone.

Best hungarian goulash we had in Budapest. Everyone was great.

The property was as expected, far enough away from the hustle and bustle with nice Spa facilities following a day of sightseeing. Public transport is easy to use to enable access in and out of the city, but you can always take a leisurely walk down the Danube which the hotel offers great views from. We would recommend this hotel for people who wish to explore what Budapest has to offer, but take a step away when it's time to unwind.

Det var et rigtig fint og godt hotel at bo på, dog lå det lidt langt ude hvis man skulle gå, men det var muligt at gå ind til centrum

Már a becsekkolás sem volt zökkenőmentes, háromnegyed órát vártunk a sorban míg ez megtörténhetett. A szoba nagyon meleg volt, nem lehetett szellőztetni megfelelően. Az ágyak nagyon puhák, roggyantak voltak. A két külön ágyat összetoltuk , alatta szemét volt. A szaunát meztelenül vették igénybe, elég kritikátlanul a vendégek. A szilveszter éjjel és hajnal a kutyavonítások miatt kimerítő volt, ezért reggel elhagytuk a szállodát. Nagy csalódás volt ez a szálloda.

We were really satisfied with everything at the hotel. The room provided to us had a great view in Danube, it was very clean and the bedding also met our expectations. The spa at the property is amazing and extremely clean also which was very important for us, we took 2 massage packages and we have to admit that the masseur (we are not sure about her name, maybe Gita or something like that) she was incredible.. her hands were magical! The only thing that made us feel uncomfortable was a waiter from the yellow bistro who for some unknown reason didn't want to serve us food even if the kitchen was open and that happened 2 times in the same day with the following weird excuse : "we're very busy at the moment and so I dont know if we can serve food now, maybe you go eat at the restaurant" - they had only 2 full tables at the moment so you can't say this was a busy time of the day, at least for my eyes. However the maitre took action immediately both of the times when I told him what happened, found a table for us and made him take the order with no second thoughts. I believe that behaviours like that at a 4* property with the amenities you provide should not be accepted from the personnel because they lower the experience of the guest for no reason, just because one person can't reach the standards of the property. In general all the other employees we met and got in contact with were more than kind and willing to make our stay a memorable experience and we are very thankful for

We spent four days in December.Excellent and friendly staff ready to assist at any time. Very clean hotel, rich breakfest, and a very relaxing SPA. I would highly recommend this hotel and go there again.

Hotel: Ein Hotel, wie man es sich wünscht. Es gab keine Mängel. Nur positives zu berichten. Wir waren ueber die Weihnachten dort. Un das mit unserem Hund. Absolut kein Problem. Da umliegend relativ viele Wiese vorhanden war, sehr problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder dort buchen. Schade in Budapest ist eigentlich nur, das unprofessionelle Verhalten bei der Metro. Als deutsch sprechender bekommt man dort nur abweisendes Verhalten. Die sind sich einfach nicht bewusst, dass man auch in der Schweiz Deutsch spricht. Das zieht sich uebrigens durch die ganze Stadt fort. Interessant, dass Verkäufer auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt praktisch alle Deutsch konnten.

We really like the hotel. Near a metro station. The personnel at the hotel, at the reception,Deborah was very helpful when we arrived, at the restaurant, etc. exceptional. The food at the restaurant was very good. The pool and the fitness room very good. All in all everything was super! For sure, we would go back to that hotel and recommend it to others! Well done!!!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the door man, he was very welcoming. First class front desk staff who spoke many languages. Room was excellent with a river view. Very quiet even though it was a very busy hotel. Food was great and fair price for the hotel. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in Budapest again.

Hotel: Ich war das letzte Mal vor 3 Jahren in diesem Hotel und kann nur sagen das es sich sehr verbessert hat. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind komplett umgebaut worden und ich hatte ein super Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. War 1 Nacht dort und bin am nächsten Tag nach Szeged ins Novotel (siehe writer Bewertung) weiter gereist.

Since this was our 2nd time staying at the Danubius, they must be doing something right. The staff was ever so helpful, arranging taxis, even a brown-bag for breakfast! They don't know the word "No". Will stay there again next year.Tip: Use the facilities, the Spa is phenomenal!

Second time at Danubius, so they must be doing something right. Tried the Whirlpools: MARVELOUS! Felt WONDERFUL. Anything we needed from staff, and it was done. Day trip to Bratislava: They packed us a Breakfast! Called taxi for us when we were leaving. Hot coffee for our thermos, ANYTHING!! They don't know how to say no. Wonderful hotel, Great staff. Already looking forward to next year.

Понравился персонал отеля- всегда готовы помочь, некоторые говорят по- русски. Номера комфортные, есть чайник и все для чая. Широкая кровать с цельным двуспальным матрацем. Постель слишком мягкая для меня, но спать удобно. Супругу показалось коротковатым одеяло. Хорошие завтраки, за дополнительную плату можно заказать ужин - шведский стол в который включены напитки , кроме алкогольных. В спа есть сауна, но она в каждой раздевалке, 3 бассейна- холодный -28^, два бассейна с термальной водой- 36 и 38^ и джакузи. Неудобство- плохая звукоизоляция, шумный лифт. Правда ночью никто не шумел и не катался на лифте, и было тихо.

Superfint på hotellet! SPA, rummen, frukosten och service var femstjärniga! Personalen är mycket trevliga och vänliga. Det var bara en sak som var störande är att folk rökte på rummen och balkongerna, trots rökförbud på Hotelet. It's been a 3 days stay for a quick run of the city - Danubius proved to be an excellent choice. Accomodation well over expected - pleasant and friendly staff, nice room with excellent view over Danube, decent breakfast (and generally good restaurant- best gulyash in town, guys!), pleasant relax right on the spot in in-house thermal baths, jaccuzi or (and) sauna, easy transport to center of the city, and of course, helpful reception which deserves special remark: when by negligence I left my tablet in taxi and asked receptionist for help, he managed to find the driver and brought me back my gadget - I don't know how: we had no licence plates, driver's name or at least name of the company. These things give a special flavour to the city - we simply have to come back again. Thanks for a perfect stay, with a lot of sweet memories, Dmitry & Tatiana

WiFi not good in room. Had to use it in lobby. Sometime cleaning forgot shampoo. Breakfast was AMAZING!!!!! Highly recommend hotel.

We have stayed in several other Budapest hotels but this was the BEST! We loved our whole stay. The location is really great, transport easy and facilities are superb. Totally recommend.

Отдыхала в отеле с мужем на Новогодние праздники. Очень спокойная атмосфера. Были приятно удивлены приветствием телевизора, сразу видно, что нас ждали. Номер небольшой, но уютный, все нужное имеется - халаты, полотенца, банные принадлежности. В номере сейф, мини-бар, чайник, фен. Номер убирался каждый день, менялись полотенца и постельное белье (через 3 дня), притом, что мы постоянно пользовались зоной СПА. Отдельное спасибо за вкуснейшие и разнообразные завтраки. Изумительная свежая выпечка - хлеб, булочки, круасаны и еще много вкусняшек, которых даже не знаем как называются. Хорошо организованная зона СПА и внимательный персонал. После пеших прогулок по изумительному Будапешту было очень приятно подремать в соляной пещере и похлюпаться в термальном источнике с гидромассажем. Мы открыли для себя еще одно замечательное место и намерены еще не один раз приехать погостить.

Очень хороший отель. Свои 4 * оправдывает. Номер был достаточно просторный, мебель новая, были халаты, тапочки, кофе аппарат, уборка и смена полотенец ежедневно. Завтрак шведский стол - очень хороший. СПА комплекс - отлично. Хорошо отдохнули и получили массу приятных впечатлений. Рядом с отелем есть супермаркет.

Et utroligt dejligt sted, som vi har besøgt 2 gange. Begge gange har vi brugt deres lufthavnsservice ved ankomst. Det er dejligt at blive kørt direkte til hotellet, når man ankommer sent. Det koster ca. 300 kr. Vores (superior) værelse havde fuld udsigt til Donau og en fin balkon. Morgenmaden er stor, varieret og indbydende. Hotellet har sin egen spa med 4 forskellige bassiner. Der er også dampbad og sauna, samt masser af behandlinger. Det er let at komme til og fra hotellet med offentlig transport. Lige overfor hotellet ligger et supermarked. Kvarteret er "normalt" beboelsesområde, og vi oplevede intet ubehageligt. Kan varmt anbefale dette sted.

Mycket nöjda med vår vistelse ! Personalen i receptionen var fantastisk. Bra bemötande kl ett på natten när vi checkade in. Senare fick vi hjälp bl a med hyrcyklar och transporter. Mycket bra frukost. Åt lunch en dag och den var också jättegod med mkt att välja på. SPAavd med fyra pooler var härlig men kanske lite sliten. Provade inga behandlingar. Utcheckningsdagen kunde vi tillbringa eftermiddagen där vilket var så bra eftersom vi åkte fr hotellet kl 16. Rummet var rent och sängarna sköna.

Отель без вопросов. Качественные 4 *. Брали только завтраки - претензий к шведскому столу нет, нормальный европейский завтрак. Номер большой, мебель новая, уборка ежедневно. СПА комплекс - отлично. Минус - несколько в стороне от центра (2.5 км от парламента), район глуховатый, но вечером можно погулять по набережной Дуная. Супермаркет рядом есть. Особый респект Татьяне - представителю принимающей фирмы Робинзон тур , практически постоянно дежурит у рецепшн. Первый раз за много путешествий нам не пришлось подходить к отельной стойке - ключ от номера и все подробные комментарии о пребывании в отеле получили от Татьяны. Более того, встретив её в супермаркете, получили подробнейшие советы о покупке местной колбасы и гусиной печени.

В отеле порадовали цена и качество. Поездку планировали самостоятельно. Цель: увидеть Будапешт и окончательно восстановить ногу после перелома. И все это за 4 дня. Поэтому выбрали отель с собственными термальным бассейнами и недалеко от центра. Плюсы отеля: +Завтрак - очень полезный и вкусный, хоть и не очень разнообразный. +Расположение - в шаговой доступности от метро и автобусной остановки. Напротив супермаркет, где есть местные вкусняшки. +Спа комплекс - работает до 22, после длительной прогулки очень приятно побыть в термальных бассейнах. Минусы: - Расположение относительно центра. Пешком далековато, но это решается общественным транспортом. - Рядом не заметили хороших мест для ужина с национальной кухней. Но может просто плохо искали и влюбились в уютное место в центре города.

We've stayed here a number of times now - the staff in the reception and bar/cafe area always remember us and welcome us. The facilities are excellent - much better than many of the 5* hotels in Budapest - very relaxing and as effective as going to any of the thermal baths. The hotel is located opposite Margaret Island, we had a fantastic view of the Danube and Buda Hills. Transport connections are good - using either the 75/76 tram, the M3 metro, or just enjoying the walk along the Danube.

Séjour très agréable: installations (piscine, bassins d'eau chaude, jacuzzi, sauna, ...) géniales, le balcon dans la chambre avec vue sur la très verte île Marguerite, au soleil couchant... et le petit déjeuner, très complet. Clairement notre séjour à Budapest a été bonifié par le choix de cet hotel (très vieillot d'extérieur ceci dit).

Отель расположен на берегу Дуная с видом на остров Маргрит. Комфортабельные номера, высокий уровень обслуживания. За неделю белье меняли 3 раза. Про полотенца в ванной комнате имеется Памятка, где написано, что менять будут только те полотенца, которые брошены на пол. Если вы считаете, что еще можно ими пользоваться, то спокойно оставляете не крючке или полотенцесушителе. В номере имеется электрический чайник, чайные чашки, стаканы и бокалы для вина, набор чая и кофе, сахара, который пополнялся ежедневно. Кстати, чай очень качественный, хоть и в пакетиках. Штопор горничная выдала по первой же просьбе на весь период. Имеется сейф бесплатный, которым мы с успехом пользовались. Небольшой холодильник заставлен местными напитками, поэтому закладывать свои продукты было проблематично. Но умещали. Питание брали завтраки. Шведский стол великолепен. Отдельный стол для вегетарианцев или тех, кто постится. Там овощи, фрукты, орехи, джемы, хлеб грубого помола. Зал для завтраков большой, очередей не было, ассортимент продуктов постоянно поддерживался. Все очень вкусное и качественное. Сыр 2-х видов, колбаса 5-6 наименований, сосиски и колбаски, омлет, яичница, свежие помидоры и огурцы, каша какая-нибудь, овощи тушеные, оливки, салат из свежих листьев, салат с майонезом, рыба тунец консервированная. А уж о выпечке вообще нет слов, чтобы рассказать. Пока гости едят, кондитер выносит на деревянном подносе очень вкусные плюшечки, пирожные и собственноручно разносит по залу и предлагает попробовать. Очень приятно! Но главное достоинство этого отеля - это СПА-комплекс. Бассейн 25м, два бассейна с термальной водой и еще один с термальной водой и эффектом джакузи. Комплекс работает с 7 часов утра до 22 часов. Главное - абсолютно бесплатно. После активных прогулок по Будапешту, очень приятно погрузиться в теплые воды купальни с термальной водой. До центра города легко добраться на троллейбусе №75. Можно пешком дойти до метро. Рядом есть супермаркет Prima, где можно отовариться продуктами. Расплатиться можно пластиковой банковской картой. В отеле постоянно находятся представители местных туроператоров 1000 дорог и Робинзон. Русскоговорящие дамы с готовностью все объяснят, расскажут, ответят на любой вопрос. Обмен валют в отеле имеется, но по грабительскому курсу. Не рекомендую.

It was one of the most beautiful expriences that we had. everything was perfect in this Hotel. Breakfast, Staff, cleanliness, rooms view, connectivity to the town.

Good: Бесподобно вкусные завтраки, здесь есть всё, что можно только себе представить, и даже больше ! Замечательные бассейны, термальные ванны, джакузи, соляная пещера и сауны!!! Есть тренажёрный зал, но мы не ходили, было некогда ( больше гуляли по городу)

Good: Everything We really cannot fault this hotel at all. The staff are all friendly & efficient. The room & all other areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. Beautiful Spa & the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever seen. The hotel is a bit out of the city centre, but sits on the bank of the Danube. There is a Metro station 5 minutes walk away with a great coffee shop on the corner. Trains run every 3 - 5 minutes & only take 10 minutes to reach the centre. Brilliant stay!

Good: l'hôtel est super et son Spa est top.large choix de massage et soin en plus. le petit déjeuner est géant. le metro est vraiment pas loin. 5mn à pieds alrs les gens qui disent loin abusez pas. javais lu des commentaires dc japprehendais. certes il nest pas aux pieds de l'hôtel mais il nest pas loin. et aux pieds de l'hôtel il y a un supermarché un restaurant chinois une parfumerie et meme un arret de bus. Bad: la salle de bain un peu etroite avec les toilettes dedans mais bon cest surtout histoire de trouver un défaut.

Good: Отличный отель. На несколько дней отдохнуть от московской жизни идеальный вариант. От метро порядка 15 мин пешком. Собственные термальные бассейны открыты с 7 утра до 22 часов. Завтрак добротный. Напротив есть большой супермаркет. Для тех кто не любит ходить пешком, останока тролейбуса напротив входа в отель, 10 мин и вы практически в центре. Рекомендую.

Good: Raznovrsan dorucak, ciste i udobne sobe. Bazeni i spa centar odlicni. Vraticemo se opet.

Alles reibungslos abgelaufen, sind sehr zufrieden gewesen und können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und zum Frühstück gab es ein riesiges Buffet. Da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Bei Fragen wurde uns schnell weitergeholfen. Außerdem in guter Lage um Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Good: super friendly staff. very clean. great Wellness area and treatment, not crowded at all, very warm water in the pools, great steam bath. We could stay in the wellness area even after checkout as long as we wanted. Very big fitness area with lots of devices. Best breakfast ever (fruits, salad, freshly pressed juice bar, egg, sausage, cheese, sprouts, soy milk, several cereals, lots of bio, cake, ... ). During dinner time there is a piano guy playing. In our confirmation there was a note about construction work. It is outside of the Hotel. We didn't hear it (weekend). However, we got a free salt room treatment because of the construction site. Bad: the food a la carte sounds better than it is. it is not bad but a bit pricey and nothing special. the evening buffet is also kinda pricey if not included. The rooms are quite small but it is ok. We usually don't spend much time in the room during vacations. No fitness classes on sundays and few on saturdays.

Good: Certaines chambres avec une très belle vue sur le Danube. Bad: Plus de petit déjeuner simple compris dans le prix (1 café avec 2 petits croissants) , dommage. Double lit proposé au lieu du grand...pas confortable et pas moyen de changer

Good: Понравилось почти все) Есть небольшие минусы, но в общей массе плюсов они почти незаметны. Кровати удобные, белье чистое, уборка каждый день, смена полотенец (если они на полу), ночью тихо, вечером в лобби и ресторане играл пианист. Шум от ремонта номеров почти не мешал (только один раз я явно слышала его, находясь с соляной пещере, в процессе сеанса, не постоянно и издалека). Завтраки хорошие, разнообразные (за 2 дня)), ужин по меню мне показался более простым чем в буфете (шведский стол), мне было вкусно)). У нас был номер 208, окна выходили на Дунай, на прекрасные холмы Буды и шикарный остров Маргит. Если бы не туман, который закрывал иногда вид.., но это больше недостаток природы. Думаю летом вид из этого номера мало кого оставит равнодушным. Очень понравились купальни (особенно горячай бассейн с гидромассажем, который включают каждые 10-15 минут)) Массажи помогли расслабиться и погрузиться в отдых, подарок от отеля в виде посещения соляной пещеры (компенсация за периодический шум) явился приятным бонусом. Спасибо, Данубиус Хелия, приедем к вам снова !))) Bad: Некоторые недочеты, которые, возможно, помогут отелю стать более идеальным: 1) тапочек в номере не оказалось (пришлось купить). Думаю, если есть халаты то и тапочки должны быть в комплекте. Халаты все одного размера (мне был огромен (я невысокого роста), а на муже еле сходился )) Жаль, что у нас не уточнили желаемый размер халатов)) 2) фен в номере ооочень слабый, часто отключался от перегрева (у меня не такая густая копна волос, но и мне приходилось ждать пока он остынет, чтобы досушиться, девушкам с густыми волосами будет нелегко просушить волосы) 3) подушки для меня были слишком плоскими, хотелось взять вторую)) Но на фоне всех плюсов эти недочеты не критичны, впечатление от отеля исключительно положительное!

Good: A kilátás a szobából fantasztikus volt. Szuper a medencék kialakítása, a jacuzziban kényelmesen elfér több ember is. A reggeli maga a tökéletesség a változatos, sokrétű kínálattal. Bad: Kár, hogy a szaunánál külön vannak a nők és férfiak, de ez apróság :-)

Good: Не самый центр, но недалеко от метро, поэтому можно быстро добраться куда требуется. Отличные спа услуги, очень неплохой завтрак. Bad: Одеяло коротковато.

Good: Понравилось буквально все! Огромное спасибо персоналу отеля за отзывчивость! Бассейны очень хорошие, одно удовольствие. В номере было очень тепло, даже жарко. Прекрасное домашнее вино и оооочень вкусные овощи-гриль с копченой моцареллой в ресторане отеля. Bad: Знаете, обратили внимание, что один стакан и один фужер в номере были с трещинками. Наверное, можно было попросить заменить. Но мне кажется, что лучше до таких просьб не доводить, а просто сразу убирать треснутую посуду.

Good: Отличная звукоизоляция в номере, удобная кровать, любезный персонал и конечно отличные бассейны.

Good: Non proprio al centro ma ottimo hotel.Di fronte supermercato Prime dove puoi trovare di tutto e alle spalle una profumeria e fermata Bus...a 300 metri fermata metro M3 dove puoi raggiungere tutta la città'...dista circa a 7 fermate dal centro ma vale la pena soggiornarci...la mattina andavo in giro al freddo per la città e verso le 7 ritornavo per un percorso SPA...che dire questa fusione turista/relax e' stato uno dei motivi principali del mio fantastico soggiorno all' Hotel Helia...Ottime le camere,la palestra e il ristorante.

Good: Отдыхали с женой в начале января.Как раз попали в морозы -18.В номере было тепло и днем и ночью.Замечательное СПА,что немаловажно после прогулок по морозу.Отдыхали 7 дней.Все очень понравилось.

Good: Tento hotel navštevujeme pravidelne. Má vynikajúcu polohu aj služby.

Very clean hotel with courteous staff on the outskirts of the city with good transport links via trams that stop outside close to hotel.Excellent spa facilities if like us you get stuck in the hotel because of cold wintry weather. Will use the hotel again when me and my wife go back to Budapest later this year.

Good: direi che era tutto ottimo soprattutto la spa merita tanto.!!!!! resta un po' fuori ma è servito benissimo dai mezzi ...metro e pullman che ferma proprio li davanti....la colazione super ricca ....il personale parla anche un po' italiano!!! Bad: l'unica cosa che vorrei segnalare è che nel letto matrimoniale usano mettere il piumone separato che resta un po' scomodo per il resto è stato tutto ottimo bella struttura con qualità e prezzo!!!!!
