Recenze hostů Danubius Hotel Helia

Do Maďarska jezdíme často. Byli jsme několikrát v Sárváru, Büku, Hevízu, v Budapešti na Markétině ostrově 4x a nyní jsme vyzkoušeli hotel Helia. Nevěděli jsme co očekávat, recenze , jak to tak bývá, byly některé dobré a některé zase špatné. No, my byli opravdu zvědaví, co nás čeká. Hotel je nádherný, má skvělou polohu. Do města se dostanete autobusem za pár minut. Zastávka je pár kroků od hotelu. Personál je neutrální, není ani nepříjemný, ale také ne úplně milý. Snídaně jsou v Ensaně standardně na velmi dobré úrovni, a zde se to potvrdilo, byly výborné! Fungoval i servis a to díky tomu, že zde mají učňovské středisko. To třeba na Markétině ostrově značně pokulhávalo. Bazény nádherné, voda skvělá a čistá. Prostředí udržované, v tomto ohledu nebylo co vytknout. Jediné, co rušilo tu skvělou atmosféru, byli hlučné děti, které měli kupodivu přístup i do teplých bazénů, což v jiných hotelech mají lépe ošetřené. I zde by měli v tomto zapracovat, když relaxuje že, tak není příjemné poslouchat hlučící děti jezdící kolem vás na madračce! Plavčík byl v klidu, nezasáhl. 😟. Co se týče ubytování, i zde se potvrdil standard Ensany. Byloi čisto, teplo , tak co vytknout? Už vim😁, madrace! Ty jsou opravdu špatné. Jsou velmi proleželé, nějakým záhadným způsobem jsem z nich sklouzával. Ale to je opravdu jediné, a není důvod si tím kazit dovolenou. Závěrem bych napsal že jsme v Budapešti prožili krásný víkend a do Maďarska a Helie se řadí vrátíme!! 🇭🇺👌

Everything was great, clean quiet rooms. Amazing breakfast, location was wonderful at the Danube river.

Good: I like most the food, was delicious

Good: Everything was great. Hotel is nice and clean, rooms are looking freshly renovated and are also very comfortable as well as are beds. We only had breakfast there and it was great. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful but I must single out our receptionist who made our stay even more enjoyable. I would like to thank him once more for all the help and kindness. Bad: Nothing. Everything was great.

Good: Food and services. Pools are nice.

Good: Food was nice, staff were friendly, and the pools were warm, a point of relaxation after a full day of activities. We went to the gym, and even though the equipment isn't new, it isn't a problem, as you can do a full session there without a problem. The only thing we didn't like is that the saunas are within the changing room, so my girl and I couldn't use them together. Parking was really convenient, and it's cheaper than parking on the street. All in all we would gladly stay there again.

Good: The reception staff were very kind in all my dealings with them; for the most part a fairly quiet hotel despite it being fairly busy; the buffet spread in the morning was always good and there was some variety if you looked for it everyday somewhere along with the daily staples; the swimming pools and sauna were great; bus stops nearby; supermarket and drug store within walking distance; steps from the Danube river; quiet neighborhood Bad: It was unfortunate that we couldn't check in early. I knew that this was going to be a possibility, but based on the length of the stay and other variables, I thought the hotel might try to accommodate. Alas they could not. So after a long trip it was a bit of a shaky start, but once in the hotel room it was all good. The elevators are mostly small and slow so try to avoid rush hour.

Good: Victoria was very pleasant while she checked me in and gave me an excellent recommendation on a restaurant within walking distance. The hotel overlooks the Danube and has lovely walking trails nearby. As for the breakfast, it was simply the best! This hotel does not spare any expense on providing every option you could think of and more! Bad: Twelve euros is a bit expensive for parking. Maybe it could be included in the price of the room.

Good: First of all a big thanks for beeing the host of myself and my group of friends invited for my 50th anniversary! The hotel met all my expectations and standards of a high class hotel. Bad: Nothing

Good: Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is enough and very good for families with small children. Hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance to city center. Bad: Dinner buffet is expensive. If the hotel increases main meal options, then it can be worth.

Good: The staff from the reception were very kind and helfull, at the venue were we had dinner everything was perfect and stilish. Food was really tasty and a large choice. Spa is very well located and organized. Bad: Simply I could not find bad things and I m a critique person.

Good: great hotel, very good location (about 2kms from the Palace of parliament but otherwise close to the center and with a beautiful view of Danube). very good food, nice staff. nice pools with heated/thermal water. Bad: overall a very good experience but i think that during the winter the hotel could use a bit of extra thermal insulation. on a windy day with -3 C outside and wind blowing you could clearly feel the cold from outside if you were looking through the window at the beautiful Danube.

Good: The spa facilities were outstanding and truly relaxing. Breakfast exceeded expectations with its variety and quality. Staff professionalism made the stay even better. Bad: Honestly, nothing significant stood out as negative. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Good: A stylish and innovative boutique hotel near the Gozdow courtyard and within walking distance of fashion, culture and culinary centers. A winning team focused on creative solutions and always pleasant and creating a pleasant atmosphere. A varied and delicious meal. The maximum cleanliness defeated my allergies. And the cocoa in the lobby is the most delicious!

Good: The varieties Bad: Far from city center

Good: Excellent location, with its own parking lot right in front of the hotel (yes, it’s extra, but it’s worth it! We compared many other hotels and this had the best deal!). There are tens of choices for breakfast, including for vegans, hot & cold drinks for every taste. The room was very clean, and the beds comfortable. Even with the kid’s bed there was space to move around. I would advise to buy public transport card (you can buy that from the metro station 8 min walk), then you can use that on any bus/ metro. The bus station is a 2 min walk and there is one that takes you straight to their city centre.

Good: Swimming pool, food, the room

Good: Great staff, satisfying breakfast and comfortable room with an amazing bed. The only bad thing was the carpet in the room which obviously wasn't clean and nobody cleaned it during the four days of our stay. The location is far from the center but the metro and bus stations are 5 minutes away so everything was easy.

Good: Nice and clean room, decent SPA area,good breakfast. Enough parking spots. Bad: Location can be better, there is not a lot to do around.

Veldig bra hotell. Kaos i frokostsalen rundt 9, men dette var et veldig bra hotell i forhold til prisen. Vennlig personell samt rent. 5 minutter til metro som er kun få stopp fra sentrum.

Good: The view from the rooms were really nice. The breakfast had a lot of options. The restaurants at the Hotel were also good for dinner. Overall we liked our stay. Bad: Nothing that we can find during our stay. Everything was according to our expectation.

Good: Liked everything. Modern, clean, comfortable rooms and nice view to the river, helpful staff. Bad: In breakfast kids ( probably on job experience from school), cooked omelettes, waiting time too long. We stayed for 6 nights and the breakfast area was always very busy. The hotel is around 1h by walking to the city centre. But it's not a big issue,as Taxi drivers are always available.

Das hotel,in dem wir immer übernachten werden.das frühstück war grossartig.

Wellnes und Spa sehr sauber. Frühstück excellent! Ser netter Service. Gerne wieder! Hinter dem Hotel liegt direkt die Margaretheninsel. Sehr gut mit Metro erreichbar. Wir waren ganz ohne Auto dort.

Flott spa-hotell med store gode rom, veldig variert og god frokost og veldig hjelpsomme ansatte. Praktisk beliggenhet nær Metro, men samtidig stille og rolig. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

The hotel has been recently renovated (2025) and therefore the interior and rooms are in a great shape. Also the location is good. With nice views on the danube and the green Margit Island and the beautiful Buda hills. The SPA area is nice and really good with little children , however it would need renovation as well. The staff was also nice and helpful. The only negative thing to mention is that the cleaning staff is not on top of their game. Our suite had some spiderwebs here and there , also they do not seem to vacuum under the bed and sofa.

O SPA é maravilhoso. Hotel é muito melhor por dentro do que seu prédio simples apresenta. Café da manhã maravilhoso, com saladas, pães, vários frios diferentes, e diversidades de alimentos, inclusive queijos de primeira.

The hotel is a great place for stay - clean with great breakfast where everyone can find variety of choices. The wellness and spa is perfect. There is a pool for swimming and three others for enjoying warm water. The sauna and steam sauna that are separate for men and women is another asset. The steam sauna was only pure water and I would appreciate salt or herb one even more. The location is also good, few steps from bus stop, about 10 min from metro, you can even walk to city centre. In the surrounding there is a cycling path for bicycles and roller skating which my teenaged children enjoyed, children playground, playground for dogs, whatever you wish for ;-). I will definitely come back when coming to Budapest. We spent there three nights and would love to have few more days. And do not worry about non-reconstructed rooms, they are perfectly good just like in the pictures. I do not really know why they are refurbishing, probably just keeping the pace with trends.

Good: Családi lakosztály felszerelése tökéletes. Pici babával érkeztünk minden amire szükség volt megtalálható ( mikro, hűtő, mosógép, stb ) Bad: A liftek programozása. Minibar árai túl magasak. Az elektromos autó töltők közül csak egy működik.

Good: A reggeli bőséges, nagy választékú. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész. A szállodán belül szép terek, pihenési lehetőségek vannak.A hotel közeléből induló trolival és metróval könnyen elérhetők a belvárosi, budai programok. A Duna látványa a szobából plusz bónusz! A hotel mögötti sétány a Duna partján visz végig. Akár gyalog is elsétálhatunk a parlamentig, vagy a Margit hídon keresztül Budára, Margitszigetre. Bad: Nem volt.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Ein Lebensmittelladen sowie Rossmann befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Alles ist sehr sauber und der Poolbereich ist gross und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig!

There were minor things, which with slight improvement can be solved. The first thing is the windows of the room. The windows are letting in both cold and noise from street. It affects the quality of sleep. The second was the parking, which might be included on the price, or at least to be noted that there will be requirment for payment at the end. Except these two everything was really good.

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. A recepciós munkatársak különösen segítőkészek és kedvesek voltak. Nagyon tetszett a wellnes részleg is. Hálásan köszönöm a gyors és önzetlen segítséget az elveszett karkatővel kapcsolatban, Miután már elhagytuk a szállodát, akkor vettük észre, hogy a lányom karkötője a fürdőköpenyben maradt. Az éttermet tudtam elérni telefonon, ahol a munkatársuk haladéktalanul értesítette a recepciót és kb. 50 perc mulva hivott a hölgy, a keresett karkötő meglett. Nagyon szépen köszönjük mindenkinek, aki segített.

Nice and comfortable hotel which located 5mins walk from a metro station. Large spa and pool and nice bar and lobby restaurant complete the pampered atmosphere.

Prima Hotel, tolles Frühstück, genug Parkfläche-mit Bus Nr 15 ist man für knapp n Euro schnell in der Innenstadt, auch die metro ist nur 12 min Fussweg entfernt.

Le séjour avec mon fils s'est très bien passé, tout le personnel était sympa.

Ældre hotel med 3 pools der er opvarmet i 3 niveauer, man får tilgang til dem gratis, dog deles de af lokale hovedsageligt senior der får deres daglig motion. Ligger tæt på floden men lidt udenfor centrum. Sød personale og udmærket bar med mad. Gode senge for en gang skyld. 50 år gammel hotel så lidt slidt, men ik noget man rigtig mærker. Var fuld ud tilfreds især taget prisen i betragtning.

Supert hotell nær T-bane og matbutikk, veldig sentralt, mange svømmebassenger, bra spa, helt topp frokost. Anbefaler rom med terrasse, vi hadde ikke det denne gangen og angret oss. Litt små rom for en familie på 3, men vi valgte vanlig dobbeltrom. Sjekk at aircondition virker før du pakker ut, vår gjorde ikke det men vi fikk byttet rom dagen etter. Bra service og hyggelig personalet, rent og pent overalt :)
