Good: La habitación estaba genial

Good: Great location and building was old but in a good way. I could feel the history everywhere includes entrance, floor and room. Bad: Most of the staff were very nice and helpful. But one staff member was kind of rude and i pretty much felt uncomfortable because of him. But it's just him other staff were amazing.

Good: The facilities were a bit older, but the location of the hotel was amazing—everything was close by, including attractions and sightseeing spots. The bus station was also nearby, so the location gets a solid 100/10. This was our second stay there, and the standard double room was better and bigger than the upgraded superior room. So, I highly recommend

Good: Een heel mooi hotel, met authentieke inrichting. Ontbijt was ook in een mooi restaurant. Locatie van het hotel is prima, metrostation is bij het hotel, met dezelfde naam Astoria. We hebben af en toe gebruik van gemaakt, voor wat verdere bestemmingen in de stad. Alle soorten winkels om de hoek, naar de het drukkere deel van het centrum is ongeveer 15 min lopen. Bad: Het lag niet aan het hotel zelf, maar vooral 's-avonds en 's-nachts waren er heel vaak sirenes van (politie)auto's te horen. Deze waren overdreven luid. Het hotel heeft prima geluidsisolatie, maar zulke sirene's houdt niets tegen :)

Good: The location. Loved the history of the hotel and the fact that many of the original features remain in the public areas despite wartime issues. This means that the reception area appears rather dark on arrival but opens up into the grand restaurant spaces, which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very well serviced by staff. Loved having a relaxed breakfast with so much choice. Good service at dinner though a limited menu. The lifts to the rooms are super efficient. Our classic room was small but well thought out for a comforatable stay. Loved the bath tub. Our room on the 5th floor faced a quiet street.so no noise issues at night except for the emergency vehicle sirens which are inescapable in Budapest. Bad: The seating in the reception area is very uncomfortable and unattractive . Replacement with something comfortable and brighter is well overdue. The carpet in the room was stained.

Good: We upgraded to a suite which was very good indeed. In general the hotel had good services and the personnel, especially the 2 young people on the front desk and the maitre d in the restaurant in the evening were excellent. The hotel does need a bit of a face lift however. The room furniture and decorations were rather old fashioned and the wall paper in the passages needed changing. However the decor downstairs, including that of the restaurant, gave the ground floor a great feeling of atmosphere: please don't touch any of that !!!ª The breakfast was good: our only complaint was that for some reason or other the water for the tea and coffee was always lukewarm Bad: That there was no room service available

Good: Staff are professiona, polite and helpful. Romm was large, bathtub was big. Brekfast was nice. few seconds to metro station, shops and restaurant near by, very convenient. Bad: I read some review complaining about smell. the reseption area was smell of cleaning liquids in the afternoon, so it was not a big issue. But there are so many rough sleepers at metro station, out side of supermakets next to the hotel, and streets were quite dirty. But it is not only this area, quite everywhere in Budapest.

Good: ホテルの目の前がアストリア駅です。 隣にマクドナルド、近くにスーパーも複数あります。 ロビーには冷たいレモン水と胡瓜水、果物が置いてありいつでも飲むことができます。 ホテルのレストランで夕食をとりましたが、老舗らしい、とても美味しく丁寧なお料理でした。 レバーパテの前菜は絶品でした。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーです。 スーツケースの車輪が１つ壊れて相談したら、すぐにメンテナンスの男性が応急処置をしてくれました。 出発が迫っていたので、応急処置だったと思います。 受付スタッフ、メンテナンスの方、お掃除のスタッフ皆さん丁寧な仕事ぶりでした。 クラシカルなホテルですが、とても清潔で快適でした。 Bad: ありません。

Love this hotel. I stay here every time I visit Budapest because of the location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Good "belle epoque" hotel, very well located right in the city centre with excellent connection to the airport.

Good: Hotel was right in the city centre. Trains, trams and buses were right outside the door (free travel for over-65s). Loved the ambience of this 1913 period hotel - it exuded a lovely old-world charm, yet wonderfully maintained. The "Classic" accommodation rooms were simpler in decor, but very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, and the adjoining restaurant provided a nice (not huge) menu selection for those dining in. The 6th floor had a dedicated ironing room, a convenient touch. Bad: Not really a criticism, but in our "Classic" room, the plumbing hardware in the bathroom was showing its age. But everything worked fine. Otherwise, everything else was in great condition.

A very nice hotel - it's old in style but it's very clean and comfortable. Reception was very helpful and polite when we had an enquiry. It's a perfect place to stay for a few nights (we stayed for three nights). We caught the bus from the airport and it dropped us one minute away from the hotel, and there are many transport links nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Good: Excellent location and breakfast. Staff were very helpful even when the fridge was not working. Bathroom ok. Bad: Tv set needs to be upgraded as sometimes sound went off and screen faded. Breakfast was generally very good but pastry section can be better.

Good: Très bel hôtel, très bien situé, proche du métro, du tramway et des bus. La décoration dans le hall et la salle de petit déjeuner est superbe. Le petit-déjeuner fabuleux, avec beaucoup de choix. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient très bien, de bonne taille, avec possibilité de faire du café ou du thé. Bouteille d'eau offerte à l'arrivée. Bad: L'hôtel n'a pas cessé de me harceler, d'abord par mail, puis sur place (deux fois) pour que j'upgrade ma chambre simple. Sur place on a même tenté de me dire que ce ne serait pas suffisant alors que la chambre est plus que correcte pour une seule personne. C'est très pénible. Les sachets de thé n'étaient pas renouvelés tous les jours, j'ai du en prendre au petit déjeuner.

Good: The room is spacious and the location of the hotel is good with lots of restaurants and other facilities around. The breakfast is nice with different types of food and fresh fruits. The restaurant is worth going for dinner as the waiters are nice and helpful and the food is delicious. Bad: The furniture and other facilities in the room are a bit outdated and not clean enough. We have booked six rooms for four nights. Five rooms were normal and acceptable. . One of the rooms, Room 304, guests had a terrible experience about the cleaning work of the room. I can provide photos showing how bad it was. But I can't upload the photos as there are technical problems but I can describe it a bit. The cleaning staff seemed to be in a hurry every time she/he cleaned Room 304 during our period of stay. One day, two clean towels were placed on top of the toilet bowl instead of on the towel shelf. A large blue plastic bag full of rubbish were found lying on the toilet floor. On the second day, two wet towels were found placing on top of a guest's suitcase. The third day, the cover of the rubbish bin was put on the desk, just on top of the guest's ready to eat banana. The mattress in the room was dirty and always rolled up which could cause danger to guests. The cleaning staff forgot to take away her/his key card one day.

Property was within walking distance to most places for interest. I found some of the staff, quite abrupt and not going to help. Most of them were happy to oblige. I felt that a cleaners, in my room, didn’t do a terrific amount. only clean the sink. I left. My room very tidy and slightly made my bed. When the cleaners came in, my bed was the same as I left it. The breakfast was good, a lot of choice for breakfast. staff was keeping on top of filling all of the food up. Lots of choices. The best time to go was 8 o’clock in the morning. After that time it was too busy. You had to queue up for the coffee machine.

Good: What a beautiful hotel. It was a classic early 20th century hotel with excellent staff. Trams, trains and buses outside the door and friendly helpful staff.

Good: Very nice hotel with a great ambiance of the past due to its well preserved impressive internal decorations. The rooms were renovated, clean, spacious and well furnished. The personnel was kind and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, I recommend to try the cafe of the hotel. The hotel is located within walking distance from most points of interest and near an airport bus stop. Definitely we will stay there again.

Reggelizni járunk a hotelbe már néhány éve. Nagyon elégedettek vagyunk. Kedves, a helyhez illő fogadtatás és kiszolgálás. Egyszerűen lenyűgöző!

Brilliant place. I had a huge room, clean with a super comfortable bed, in traditional style with lovely character. The staff were helpful. The lobby and shared areas of the hotel are lovely. The cafe is simply beautiful. The hotel is literally across the street from the bus stop from the airport, and right by a metro station too. It couldn’t be easier to find. And to top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable. Honestly I loved it here and wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

I stayed for one night and enjoyed the stay very much. Perfect location, clean and beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful personnel. Good breakfast also! Thank you

Good: Gran hotel. Muy bien ubicado en la zona de Pest cerca de todos los medios de transporte (Autobús, tren y tranvia). La habitación está genial, camas muy cómodas y con bastante sitio para el equipaje. Guardan tu equipaje tanto a la llegada como a la salida si llegas antes de tiempo o si tu vuelo es tarde. El personal muy amable. Repetiría. Bad: El desayuno es tipo buffet y aunque tienen mucha cantidad es poco variado. El café no es nada recomendable.

Good: The hotel is well located near the Jewish Quarter and on top of the Astoria M2 subway line. While the hotel is dated but our room is clean, bright and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The manager at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices that we didnt feel bored even after 3-night stay. Başka yorum ve söze gerek yok 😊. On our previous trip, we stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel. This time, we stayed 6 nights at Danubius Hotel Astoria. If we come to Budapest again, our choice will definitely be Danubius Hotel Astoria. No further comment or words needed 😊 de Bad: Herşeyi sevdim...özellikle Metro neredeyse otelin içinde. Otel tarihi ve çok güzel. Odalar temiz ve yeterli büyüklükte. Tek tavsiyem kahvaltı her gün aynı olmazsa çok daha iyi olur (uzun kalışlarda önemli Nothüng......The metro is almost inside the hotel. The hotel is historic and very beautiful. The rooms are clean and adequately sized. My only suggestion is that the breakfast could vary from day to day — that would make it much better (especially important for longer stays).

È un ottimo hotel dallo stile un po' retrò. Hanno comunque camere rimodernizzate. L'accoglienza è stata professionale, il livello di pulizia è Ottimo così come la colazione che è molto varia. Il ristorante interno è da provare ed ha una notevole atmosfera: c'è un bravissimo pianista che dà un sottofondo impagabile. La posizione è eccezionale ed è una struttura da consigliare.

Good: Kahvaltı 80 e yakın çeşitte çok çok beğendim otel ücretine kişi naşı 12 Euro ekleyerek yiyorsunuz, gün içinde kahve makineleri ücretsiz olsaydı sevinirdim aslında, personeller güler yüzlü çok sıcak, restoranda ki ileri yaşlı abilerimiz birazcık ağırlar ama selamı eksik etmediler ( : havaalanından 100E ye binip kapının 5 metre önünde iniyor tekrar binmek için 10 metre karşıya yürüyor havaalanına geçiyorsunuz, şehrin tam olarak göbeği burası otelden çıkıp dört yöne sırayla yürüyerek şehrin tamamını dolaşmış olacaksınız, Astoria M caddesi meydanı tam ortası Danubius Astoria Hotel, tramvay tam kapı önünde her yere ulaşıyor, metro otobüsler tamamı bursan geçiyor, her taraf market rastaurant cafe, sabah kahvaltı da ileri taş otel kültüründen anlayan misafirleri görüyorsunuz bazı otellerde sadece Avrupa Trip yapan genç tayfadan görebilirsiniz burda yok, İnternet her alanında otelin süper çalışıyor, hemen resepsiyon yanı restaurant otele air ve bir çok yemek bulunuyor, yatak çok rahat odalar ses geçiriyordu hiç hemde ve taharet musluğu olmasa da su klozete çok yakın ( : Bu konu da avrupayı anlamıyorum işte, beğendim, çok şeyii beğendim. Bad: Banyo musluğu biraz hızlı tıkanıyor bekleyince hemen gidiyor, sıcak su arada küçük küçük soğuyor hemen geçiyorum, odalarda terlik bulunmuyor, sürekli ücretsiz kahve makinesi hizmeti yok, kapının hemen önünde ve yine hemen önde bulunan alt geçitte evsizler bulunuyor ama tüm şehirde ki evsizler zararsızdır hatta nazikler bile ( :

Отель находится в самом центре города. Рядом все остановки общественного транспорта. Отель шикарный, старинный. Как в кино. Персонал приветливый. Номера хорошие, чистые. Завтрак выбор большой и вкусно.

Good: el desayuno es en un cafe del mismo hotel, hermoso. Es buffet muy bueno. El personal excelente actitud. Tuvimos un problema con el hotel que había contratado y pregunte en el lobby por sus servicios, me dieron un tour por el hotel y sus habitaciones antes de cambiarme con ellos. Precio atención y lugar de lo mejor OJO no confundirlo con otro hotel que esta junto y el nombre es casi igual el bueno es este: ASTORIA DANUBIUS Bad: nada. todo me gusto

Stylish decor. Lots of chandeliers. Traffic noise because hotel is at a busy crossroads. Had to ask for more coffee and creamer twice. Helpful staff.
