Classic and historic style. Breakfast was excellent.

Good: Hotel v centru, úžasná atmosféra 30.let především v restauraci a společných prostorách včetně klavíristy.

Good: The hotel was excellent, room was better than we expected, very clean and well maintained every day by the cleaning staff, reception and restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful, food in the restaurant was very nice. There are also lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel interior has lots of charm and character. The public transport system is excellent but I would recommend you buy a travel card it is much cheaper and less hassle. I would definitely recommend a boat trip up and down the Danube to see the city lit up at night, it is a spectacular sight, but check the weather first. Bad: The hotel is situated right in the heart of Pest on one of the busy city roads, for us it provided a great base to explore both Buda and Pest. Our room was overlooking a side street, we could hear some traffic noise during the night, which is to be expected on a busy main road, but the noise was nowhere near as bad as we anticipated. Sitting in reception with the door closed you couldn't hear any traffic. Non EU citizens have to pay more to get into some of the attractions in Budapest, e.g. Hungarian Parliament building, so check out the costs before visiting the sights.

Good: Good hotel, abslutly great location, 5 steps from the Metro, perfect location as walking distance from the main city sights like the Jewish sinagog and Vatzi Utsa. Many restarants and supermarkets nearby. Great and generouse breakfast, you can order your eggs to be prepared for you, A nice variety of cheese, fruits,, some vegtables, breads, cakes granola, etc. I don't eat meet, but I saw a variety of meats. If you are vegeterians or keep (light) kosher you can certainly find something to eat. The place feels safe. the loby is nice "old century" decoration Bad: a bit outdated, if you open the windows it can be a bit noisy, you have soap and shampoo but nothing very luxiurios. but for me the location worth it

Bellissima struttura antica e centrale. Comoda per visitare la città. Solo per mie difficoltà con la lingua, ho avuto poca sintonia col personale. A me è toccata una camera nella parte moderna con un unico difetto: benché al quarto piano c'è un brutto odore che proviene dal bagno. Da migliorare.

Good: La atención, en nuestro caso necesitamos un servicio médico y todo fue muy rápido. El desayuno muy completo. Bad: La habitación muy justa para moverte, con una columna que te dejaba poco espacio para entrar y salir a la cama.

Good: We like this hotel, that is why we came here for the second time. It is a nice place in the historical building in the center of Budapest. It is close to public transport, attractions, shops, and different restaurants. The staff is friendly and polite. The breakfast is tasty.

Old world style and class. The room was spacious and in very good shape. The restaurant had a delicious chicken and mushroom risotto. Located in a busy part of the city bustling with vitality. 5 stars all the way.

Good: Lo staff si é dimostrato molto gentile e molto accogliente. La struttura é molto bella, nel tipico stile del posto; le camere sono silenziose e ben insonorizzate, pertanto nonostante l'hotel si affacci su un viale, non si percepisce il chaos esterno. La posizione é ottima per raggiungere le principali attrazioni sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici, e si raggiunge facilm anche dall'aereoporto con un bus che ferma esattamente sotto l'hotel. Good: Super location. Very central, close to all amenities. Breakfast was very good. Eggs were cooked fresh for you. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Bad: The bar closed at 11pm and it was not possible to get a drink after this time.

Great location.friendly and efficient staff. Our stay was 7 nights and had no issues.

Good: Un hotel vecchio stile, ho aforato gli interni al piano terra e la sala da pranzo. Il personale è molto professionale, il cibo del ristorante non è male. La fermata della metropolitana è proprio sotto al hotel e ha lo stesso nome "Astoria". Consiglio di parcheggiare al "Pollack Garage" che si trova a 5-10min a piedi dietro ad un museo: non troverete prezzo migliore per un parcheggio coperto e sicuro. Si può pagare con carta. Bad: Non posso lamentarmi, forse il bagno andrebbe rivisto un po', ma nulla di grave

Good: La localización, el edificio se intuía histórico, el desayuno muy completo, habitaciones confortables y personal muy amable. El Café Astoria nos gustó mucho. Bad: Solicitamos desayuno para llevar el último día ya que salíamos muy temprano para el aeropuerto y lo teníamos contratado pero no disponían de esa opción.

Good: We stayed for 2 nights, it's an old but nice hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. Even though it's next to the road, there's no noise. Traveling is very convenient, there is a subway, tram, and close to tourist attractions. The breakfast was very good. All employees are friendly. Don't feel disappointed staying here. If there is a chance, will come to stay again.

Good: I liked the style of the hotel, it was like a time travelling in the days of an Agatha Christie novel. I also liked the single room I have stayed was a lot of space, bed was very comfy. Eventhough the room & furniture is a bit older the hotel was very clean. Very good breakfast! I especially liked the Hungarian cottege cheese balls. " Túrógombóc", which I have not eaten for ages! Bad: All was good. A bit older furniture and facilities but all functioned very well.

Good: Excellent location, hotel is on a busy road intersection but it is to be expected in a city centre location and means you have tram and bus stops east/west north/south very close to the hotel. Metro station is under the road intersection. All the staff were very helpful. We stayed in superior double room, the room is on the small side (we need to store push chair) but has plenty of storage space so unpacked and put suitcases in baggage room. The bed was comfy and big enough to have our 1yr old in the middle. Nice bathroom with good shower. Bad: The coffee at breakfast is not great (the rest of breakfast is good).

Good: Beautiful hotel in its original style. Large comfortable beds, great breakfast and amazingly helpful staff. Bad: No kettles in the rooms - but that seems to be a European thing.

Good: Os funcionários são gentis e simpático,, o quarto era amplo, a cama de casal grande e confortável, os travesseiros super macios, o café-da-manhã muito bom e o hotel muito bem localizado, do lado de uma estação de metrô e próximo à várias atrações, a pé. Bad: Mesmo sendo um hotel antigo, merecia ser melhor cuidado e limpo na sua parte externa. A parte interna do hotel é muito bem cuidada e não corresponde às condições da fachada.

Good: O pequeno almoço era excelente muita variedade e muito boa qualidade. A Localização é cinco estrelas perto de todas as atrações e dos transportes. Adorei a decoração do Hotel, muito fino. Restaurante muito bom, com bons pratos. Bad: O barulho da rua uma vez que era um primeiro andar ouvia-se o barulho do transito. Numa das noites estiveram a limpar as estações do metro que ficam mesmo por baixo do Hotel e ficamos durante todo o tempo a ouvir o gerador a trabalhar, foi horrível.

Good: The hotel is in a strategic position for everyone who wants to visit the city by foor or by underground. The room I was in was big enough for two people and the view was really nice, even though there was traffic on the road the window glass blocked the sound of cars

Good: The property is well situated in Budapest. It’s minutes from the Astoria underground and a range of bus stops that can take you across the city. The staff were great and dealt with anything that came up. The hotel looked good and there was an option to eat in or have a drink if needed. Bad: I liked everything.

Ho soggiornato x 4 gg e mi sono trovata molto bene. Camera doppia x 3 persone. Albergo vecchio stile austro ungarico. Camera molto grande con soffitti alti. Si trova su un crocevia con la stazione metro Astoria praticamente fuori dalla porta. Il centro lo si raggiunge in poco tempo così come i bagni Gellert. Camera doppia con 2 televisori, 2 frigor, 2 cassaforti. Bollitore con tè e caffè. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata. Forse qualcosa in più in bagno oltre alle cuffie e al sapone, sarebbe gradito. Però ci tornerei

Good: Beautiful 1914 design. Comfortable bed, good shower and outstanding breakfast buffet. Cleaning ladies were very nice. Two young girls working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Bad: Could use a fan in the room yo circulate the air.

Vše perfektní, byli jsme zde na prodloužený víkend a tento hotel byl jako sen, dýchne na Vás úžasná historická atmosféra 30. let, vše má zajímavou patinu, pokoje jsou rozlehlé a nádherně dobově zařízené, z pokojových balkonů je parádní výhled na jednu z nejrušnějších křižovatek v Budapešti. V blízkém okolí je Váci, Gellert, market, Citadela, bazilika, národní muzeum, velmi blízko pak slavné mosty a parlament. Kolem hotelu pak desítky restaurací, cukráren, ale i supermarkety a další obchody. Hotel doporučil parkování v nedalekých garážích s výtahem na auta, od hotelu 5 min, parkování perfektní také. Co se nám ještě líbilo byli bohaté a chutné snídaně. Také obsluha na recepci je tady nesmírně ochotná a nápomocná, za mě 10 z 10.
