We would like to inform you that the Helia Spa swimming pool will be closed from August 3, 2026 due to a complete mechanical renovation.

The expected completion date and reopening of the swimming pool is August 31, 2026.

During the closure, all other pools, wellness facilities and services will remain available without interruption, with the exception of group sessions held in the swimming pool.

Please note that on 30 August 2026, our entire wellness area will be closed for scheduled biannual maintenance. The fitness area will remain open on this day.

Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Our spa hotel, located in the heart of Budapest’s District 13, holds a range of unforgettable wellness and spa experiences in store for you! Swim some lengths of our indoor swimming pool, unwind in the Jacuzzi and take an energising steam bath, sauna or infrared sauna, or warm yourself on our sun terrace.

At Danubius Hotel Helia we offer an extensive water world with the following facilities (the room price includes the use of the hotel’s spa, water world):

• Indoor swimming pool (17.5 x 7.8 m, 26-28°C)
• Heated pools (7.8 x 5.3 m, 32-34°C, 5.3 x 5.3 x 3.1 m, 36-38°C)
• Jacuzzi
• Steam baths and saunas separately for women and men, solarium
• Sun terrace
  

	Spa opening hours(except Festive days and Bank holidays): Mon-Sun |  7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Yearly maintenance in the pool area:

Please note that our wellness area is closed for biannual maintenance on the last Sunday of February and August each year, as well as on the following Monday.

The scheduled maintenance dates for 2027 are:

• 28 February–1 March 2027
• 29–30 August 2027
  

The fitness area will operate with reduced opening hours on these days.

• Weekend and Bank Holidays: HUF 8500
• Child ticket (0-14 years old): HUF 4800

• Monday-Friday: HUF 5300
• Weekend and Bank Holidays: HUF 6900

For hotel guests the Spa & Fitness center is free of charge.
