Der Aufenthalt war allgemein sehr gut. - Das Zimmer sehr modern und sauber - Bett sehr komfortabel - Das Frühstück auch passend Das Einzige Minus war ein Bademeister beim Schwimmbad, der mich (mit einem Boxer) und Freundin (mit normalen Bikini) nicht zugelassen hat. Wir müssten extra 2 neuen Shorts in einem Einkaufszentrum kaufen zum Gelangen.

Hotel: Großartiges Hotel und tolle Anlage. Super ausgestattet Zimmer und ein perfektes Frühstück. Immer wieder gerne. Geniale Poollandschaft.

Hotel: Ein Hotel, wie man es sich wünscht. Es gab keine Mängel. Nur positives zu berichten. Wir waren ueber die Weihnachten dort. Un das mit unserem Hund. Absolut kein Problem. Da umliegend relativ viele Wiese vorhanden war, sehr problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder dort buchen. Schade in Budapest ist eigentlich nur, das unprofessionelle Verhalten bei der Metro. Als deutsch sprechender bekommt man dort nur abweisendes Verhalten. Die sind sich einfach nicht bewusst, dass man auch in der Schweiz Deutsch spricht. Das zieht sich uebrigens durch die ganze Stadt fort. Interessant, dass Verkäufer auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt praktisch alle Deutsch konnten.

Hotel: Ich war das letzte Mal vor 3 Jahren in diesem Hotel und kann nur sagen das es sich sehr verbessert hat. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind komplett umgebaut worden und ich hatte ein super Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. War 1 Nacht dort und bin am nächsten Tag nach Szeged ins Novotel (siehe writer Bewertung) weiter gereist.

Alles reibungslos abgelaufen, sind sehr zufrieden gewesen und können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und zum Frühstück gab es ein riesiges Buffet. Da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Bei Fragen wurde uns schnell weitergeholfen. Außerdem in guter Lage um Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Good: Es ist pure Entspannung und Erholung morgens und abends in den Thermalbecken und in den Saunen!

Good: Wir haben ein Kostenloses Upgrade bekommen, da wir gerade von unserer Hochzeit gekommen sind.

Good: Wir waren mit alles rundum zufrieden. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr gut und bequem. Das Thermalbad in dem Hotel ist ein grosses Vorteil.

Good: Ein unglaubliche tolles Buffet morgens und abends. Lage war gut. Zimmer und Spa-Angebote mit rießiger Auswahl. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (wie Supermarkt, DM) direkt um die Ecke:-) Bad: Am Empfang war die erste Person, die uns morgens empfangen hat nicht sehr freundlich. Die anderen machten dies jedoch wieder wett.

Der Aufenthalt in Budapest war toll!

Good: Sehr, sauber und gepflegtes Haus.Die AUSSERORDENTLICHE FREUNDLICHKEIT DER ANGESTELLTEN.

Good: sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal an der Rezeption; Erreichbarkeit mit der U-Bahn, ruhige Lage mit Donaublick; ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet; Wellnessangebote.

Good: Sehr nettes Personal! Würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel aufsuchen! Bad: Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum Wobei die U-bahn gleich um die Ecke liegt und dies nur ein paar Stationen waren.

Good: Komfort, Ausblick, Sauberkeit, Mitarbeiter Bad: Haustier ist verboten im Restaurant.

Good: sehr nette Rezeption-etwas deutsch sprechend,Wellnisbereich,Minifrühstück,wer keines gebucht hat,welches mit 12 Euro auch viel zu teuer ist. Bad: der veranschlagte Preis für einen Hund pro Nacht ist unakzeptabel. Dank booking aufn15 Euro runter gesetzt,aber auch noch zu teuer.

Good: Ausser, dass wir mit Allem zufrieden waren (gute Lage, schöne Aussicht, bequemes Bett, komfortables, sauberes Zimmer mit Wasserkocher), fand ich sehr positiv, dass auch wenn man kein Frühstücksbuffet bucht, ist eine Tasse Kaffee/Tee & 2 Croissant (Gipfeli) im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Und natürlich der Zugang zum grosszügigen Spa. Bad: gab es nicht

Good: Der Blick auf die Donau und Magareteninsel aus dem Zimmer ist sehr schön. Wir freuten uns täglich über Pool, Thermalbecken ( incl Wirlpool ) und Sauna. Mit diesem Preis waren wir sehr zufrieden! Bad: Die Lage gab für unsere Reise ( Sportveranstaltung in der Nähe ) den Ausschlag für die Buchung dieses Hotels. Die Platenbausiedlung ringsherum ist gewiss nicht jedermanns Sache.

Good: Tolle Lage mit direkten Verkehrsanbindungen in die Stadtmitte. Schönen Thermalbereich mit Becken für jeden Typ. Von Sportbecken bis zum warmen Sprudelbecken und Sauna. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig. Bad: Kleine Mängel in der Zimmerreinigung.

Good: Es ist ein perfektes Hotel.Der Wellnessbereich ein traum 4 pools mit einer temp von 26-38C.Das Frühstück ebenfalls Spitzenklasse.Zimmer sehr gepflegt . Bad: Ich habe keine fehler gefunden.

Good: Poolbereich, Sauna und Gerätetraining im Preis inbegriffen. Alle Bereiche sehr sauber. Personal sehr nett. Zimmer sehr gemütlich. Zimmerreinigung sehr gründlich! Bad: Nichts negatives!

Good: Sehr positiv sind die hilfsbereiten und sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter, das sehr gute Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und natürlich die vielen Möglichkeiten wie Massagen, Thermal u. Sportschwimmbecken, Sauna, Dampfbad etc.

Good: Sauberes Zimmer, schöner Schwimmbadbereich, ideale Busverbindung ins Zentrum, ausreichend und angenehm großer Parkplatz vorhanden

Hotel: Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 40 Personen im Hotel Helia und ich kann nur Positives berichten. Bei Ankunft waren alle Zimmerkarten hergerichtet. Der Rezeptionist sprach sehr gut deutsch und war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf die Margaretheninsel. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind modern eingerichtet und waren sehr sauber . Die Minibar hat gut gekühlt. Flachbildschirm in allen Zimmern. Das Bad ist klein, dass hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Hallenbad und der Fitnessraum sind top. Kostenloses Internet im ganzen Hotel. Ich komme gerne mit Gruppen oder auch als Individualgast wieder. Location: Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Die U-Bahnstation ist in einigen Metern zu Fuß leicht erreichbar und man fährt nur 4 Stationen mit der blauen Linie bis ins Zentrum mit Fußgängerzone und Riesenrad. Im Zimmer störte kein Verkehrslärm. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite ist ein Supermarkt, ein Drogeriemarkt und eine Trafik. Ab dem Hotel kann man zu Fuß auf die Margaretheninsel gehen um dort spazieren zu gehen und um dort eine schöne Aussicht auf die Stadt zu genießen. Service: An der Rezeption ist immer Personal das deutsch spricht. Die Herrn waren alle sehr freundlich und bemüht. Der Kellner beim Abendessen fragte uns sofort nach unserem Getränkewunsch und es wurde rasch serviert. Es wird auch sofort das beschmutzte Geschirr abgeräumt. Sehr freundliche wurden wir auch an der Bar bedient und wir freuten uns über die guten Preise der Getränke. Auch hier wurde deutsch gesprochen. Food: Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und alles da was man sich wünscht. Es wurde immer sofort aus der Küche nachgebracht wenn Wust, Käsen, Spiegeleier usw. zu Ende gingen. Das Buffet am Abend war vielfältig und es hat sicher niemand aus unserer Gruppe den Speisesaal hungrig verlassen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Es war sehr angenehm, dass für unsere Gruppe Tische reserviert waren so konnten wir zum Frühstück und Abendessen schön zusammen sitzen. Room: Zimmer habe ich schon in der Einleitung beschrieben. Sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ebenso sauber aber etwas klein, störte uns aber nicht. Flachbildschirm in jedem Zimmer mit drei deutschsprachigen Sendern, leider ist kein Österreichischer Sender eingestellt. Die Minibar war gut gefüllt und sehr gut gekühlt. Sport: Das Hallenbad ist sehr sauber und wirklich schön. Besonders angenehm finde ich die drei verschiedenen Becken mit den drei unterschiedlichen Temperaturen des Wassers. Bademäntel sind im Zimmer bereit gelegt und Badetücher bekommt man an der Bäderrezeption, man muss nicht die Badetücher des Zimmers nehmen.

Das Kurhotel ist nach dem Umbau ein Tophotel geworden,Der Medizin- und Wellnessbereich ist top.Allerdings sind nun die Preise auch sehr hoch.Man kann sich für eine Bae- oder medizinische Kur sehr wohl fühlen in diesem Hotel auf der Magareteninsel.Nach den Kurbehandlungen kann man am Nachmittag mit dem Lienienbus ( Monatskarte bei längerem ASufenthalt kaufen) sehr gut ins Zentrum fahren und in einem der vielen Cafehäuser seinen Cafe und sehr gute Kuchen geniessen.Die Abendveranstaltungen im Hotel für die Kurgäste sind sehr anspruchsvoll.Die Küche sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Angefangen vom Frühstücksbüffet, über die Sauberkeit und die renovierten Zimmer bis hin zum Wellnessbereich ist alles wunderbar. Mit einem Blick auf die Margareteninsel ist sogar für Aussicht gesorgt und der Erholungseffekt kann dort durchaus genossen werden. Als kleinen Hinweis sollte man nur wissen, dass die Sauna und das Dampfbad für Männer und Frauen getrennt sind.

Good: Our favorite hotel in Budapest. Has great spa facilities, rooms are very comfortable, excellent breakfast and a parking lot. Not much more we can ask for which is why we keep coming back. Bad: Nothing not to like.

Good: Spa is excellent. Bad: The room we have stayed for two bookings in same room the bed sheets where not replaced.The room had a lot of dust deposit on furniture,tv,flooring.

Good: Newly refurbished, clean room and bathroom with great shower, offering views of the Danube, Margaret Island and a parking lot. While ugly on the outside, the hotel provides much comfort and had a fantastic breakfast buffet. It's also very convenient to have a supermarket across the street. Bad: The location is not exactly central (although the metro is a 5 min walk) and in an ugly part of town. The "spa" is quite small.

Pokoje czyste, naszykowane od razu szlafroki. Super smaczne śniadania, duży wybór, kolację również serdecznie polecam. Strefa fitness z ktorej korzystałem 2 razy dziennie zasługuje na duży plus. Basen, jacuzzi oraz sauna bardzo przestronne.

Good: Directly located at the Danube river and with a Bus station nearby within a 3 minutes‘ walk, the hotel provides an ideal starting point for each day‘s trips in and around Budapest. Rooms were quiet and clean and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Good: The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It is on the banks of Danube and the room has a great view. It has a spa with 3 pools with different temperature ranging from normal swimming temperature to a hot pool. It is open till early morning till 22:00 which is really great. We totally enjoyed the spa. The food is also great, both for breakfast and for dinner and the staff is really nice. The internet connection is very good. The beds are comfortable. The hotel has a parking lot with sufficient space. It is also close to the city center. We totally enjoyed our stay and I fully recommend the hotel. Bad: There were no double beds available when we booked so we had to settle for two separate beds. The beds are very light so they move easily with the lightest push. If double beds are always sold out, and twin bed rooms remain available, that means that you need to reduce the number of twin beds and increase the number of double beds. The toilet flushing system is poorly constructed so flushing the toilet usually does not clear the contents of the toilet bowl and you have to use the toilet brush every single time. The shower cabin is long and the shower is on one side of the cabin, while the switch for the shower is on the other side so you have to move to turn it on and off.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was in orde en het ontbijt was meer als voldoende. Het zwembad is wat verouderd maar is nog steeds goed.

Super Hotel...ich komme bestimmt wieder

The hotel is located in a quiet place but close to bus lines to the center. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Parliament. Margaret Island is across the Danube and you can quickly reach the beautiful island by walking. The new Premium room is neat and clean. Acoustically well insulated. It can be seen that it has almost been renovated. The staff is very friendly, they speak excellent English and the lobby is bright and spacious for rest and coffee. The pool and spa are clean and it doesn't feel crowded, even though the hotel is full of guests.

My husband and I regularly stay at Helia. It has been over 15 years that we visit at least once a year, with the exception of the times of COVID. We are so pleased with the hotel, generally, it’s location, and the attentive and caring staff. We have seen an improvement in the hotel with its recent renovation and the Yellow Cafe menu items. We feel as if it is a second home for us and are always excited to return!

The staff were super. Very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Budapest.

Ottimo hotel, tutto il personale è gentilissimo, dal ragazzo che si occupa della custodia bagagli, al personale della reception , quello delle pulizie, a quello della sala colazione. L'ubicazione è semi-periferica, ma l'hotel è molto ben collegato al centro, Con il 79 (fermata vicinissima), con appena una fermata, si arriva ad una stazione della linea 3 della metropolitana e da lì si raggiunge comodamente e velocemente il centro di Budapest e qualunque altra zona della città. Ci siamo trovati molto bene..

Good: Breakfast was great and lovely variety, provided fruit infused water in reception all day. Swimming pool was lovely and big with 3 different temperature pools. Metro station is about a 5min walk away which takes you anywhere in the city!

Good: Az ágy rendkívül kényelmes volt. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész, a szobánkat a kiírt időpont előtt már elfoglalhattuk. A wellness rész kellemes volt, és számításaink ellenére egyáltalán nem volt zsúfolt.

Good: Stanza pulita, letto comodissimo. Rilassante la vista sul Danubio e sull'Isola Margherita. Ottimo l'orario per l'utilizzo della SPA. 4 piscine per tutti i gusti. Consiglierei l'obbligo della cuffia e della doccia per dell'uso delle piscine. Tutto molto pulito. Ottima la colazione. La temperatura della sala era un po' troppo bassa, per fortuna si può fare colazione anche fuori.

Good: Na uboczu, spokojna okolica, nad samą rzeką, blisko supermarket, blisko komunikacja, czyściutki pokój, miła obsługa. Bad: Jednostajne śniadania i zaskoczyła mnie płatność z góry za pobyt, na co nie byłem przygotowany. Zawsze płaciłem za hotel w czasie wymeldowania.

Le camere sono pulite e il letto comodo. La porta sul corridoio è insonorizzata male. Ottima la spa, gradirei però che ci fosse l'obbligo della cuffia in piscina e il lavaggio delle ciabatte e la doccia prima di accedere alle piscine. Il personale e molto gentile. Ottima anche l'offerta del bar e del ristorante.

We enjoyed our stay in the Danubius Hotel Helia. The staff were always friendly, polite and helpful; our room was extremely comfortable; the meals were excellent and we made good use of the swimming pool.

Desde el primer día que llegamos, habían cabellos en la ducha que permanecieron hasta el tercer día. En el armario, los huéspedes anteriores se habían dejado ropa interior que descubrimos cuando sacamos la nuestra. La limpieza es descuidada. Por lo demás, un lindo hotel. Desayuno correcto.

Good location of the hotel, close to the center of Budapest. The price corresponds to the accommodation.

We had a very comfortable stay at the newly refurbished room. The bed was big and lovely. Nice bathroom with soft towels and bathrobes. The breakfast was delicious and we had very nice lunch and dinner at the bistro. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I love the breakfast buffet and the relaxed feeling of the hotel. We also loved the small restaurant, "Yellow," where we had two excellent meals with family. The health club is a wonderful opportunity to work out in the exercise rooms. There are two floors: one for weight training and the second for cardio exercises. bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals. Most of all, we love the three pools of different temperatures. The hotel has all we need for a wonderful getaway.

We liked the location away from the center of the city, but accessible to everywhere. The health facilities and pools were exceptional and immaculate. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and high quality. There was an abundance of food and something for everyone.
