Water consumption

In a hotel water is used almost constantly – in guestrooms, in the kitchen, in the laundry room and for cleaning throughout the hotel. We train our employees and encourage our guests to minimize water consumption while incorporating certain measures to help cutting back on water use, such as low-flow toilets, motion sensor taps, and water-regulator taps.

  • We invite our guests to reuse towels and linen

  • Showers installed instead of baths in several of our hotels

  • We educate our employees on how to reduce water use in their everyday work (fully loaded washing machine, dishwasher; not leaving faucets running while cleaning)

  • We installed water-regulator taps and showers and low-flow toilets
