Great hotel in an ideal location. Good breakfast too. Found the bar staff a little off and unhelpful.

Good: Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Hotel, das mit seinem historischen Stil und Flair sehr gut in die Innenstadt von Budapest passt, sehr gut gelegen ist und dadurch für eine Städtetour bestens geeignet ist. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet.

Good: Vanhaa vuosisataa henkivä, silti hyväkuntoinen ja siisti hotelli. Aula ja ravintolat todella hienoja fasetti hiottuine peileineen. Huoneet vähän retroja mutta sängyt leveät ja patjat uudet. Henkilökunta tyylikkään ystävällistä. Aamiainen erittäin hyvä ainakin isolle miehelle, paljon lämpimiä vaihtoehtoja. Kävelymatka Vaci Utcalle ja tärkeimmille nähtävyyksille. Kaiken kaikkiaan hieno kokemus uusien trendihotellien kiusaksi. Bad: Ikuinen poru taitaa olla kokolattiamatto, mutta ainakin itse kestin sitä pari yötä, varsinkin kun ilmastointi pelasi hyvin. Aika vilkkaalla paikalla risteyksessä, mutta itselle osui rauhallinen huone sivukadun varrelta.

super einfach super tolles hotel tolles personal alles clean alles gut viel zu tun im hotel immer wieder gerne ! budapest ist echt ein tollles ziel und von dwm hotel aus kommt ihr überallhin parlament chain bridge citadel und markhalle die location bietet überdurchschnittliche shops und restaurants da kann man echt nie den hals voll bekommen was es da alles zu essen gibt ! nächstes mal wieder !

Good: Exceptional breakfast with a big variety of everything, cereal, cured meats eggs jams you name it! Excellent WiFi reception throughout the hotel at all times. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we wanted. The location of the hotel is very good, since just outside of the hotel you can find the Astoria metro station which was extremely convenient Bad: The pillows could have been a bit better. It would be really convenient if you could adjust the heating in the room.

Good: Comfortable and clean hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location and a great base to explore the city. The Ruin bars are all in safe walking distance from the hotel.

Good: Good location; helpful friendly staff; spacious and clean rooms. Bad: I wish the buffet breakfast had been included in the overall price. It was good but too expensive at 16.50 euros. Location Tip: Excellent location. within walking distance of many of the main attractions in the city. Close to public transport links. The Astoria Hotel was perfect for me. It was clean, comfortable and although in a busy part of the city, my room was very quiet. The location was perfect for exploring the city; just a 10 minute stroll to the Danube and the metro station was outside the front door. It is a traditional hotel with an interesting history. The restaurant is also traditional but not to my taste, so I did not use it. On the other hand the menus looked good as did the service.

The hotel astoria is a famous historical hotel which is located 10 min from the river and close to all of the sites. The sightseeing bus tours alk stop across the street. Restaurants are located within 2 min walk

Good: In genere su Budapest son spesso per lavoro e cerco sempre hotel con stanze piuttosto grandi e con buona colazione mettendo in secondo piano tutto il resto. L’Astoria ė certamente un hotel elegante e un po’ costoso ma servizi ed eleganza hanno prezzo. Avevo trovato offerta per una matrimoniale Superior e pur con piccole differenze rispetto alle foto presentate la pulizia era perfetta e non ho avuto problema a richiedere clean up della stanza già alle 830 del mattino. Colazione perfetta in locale molto elegante con fantastico sottofondo di pezzi classici. Bad: Per mio lavoro do molta importanza alle dimensioni della camera rispetto ad altri opzional. Nella mia superior tra l’altro assente bollitore per fare caffè al pomeriggio

Wir waren übers Wochenende in Budapest und mehr als zufrieden mit unserem Hotel. Perfekte Lage und sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück auch mehr als ausreichend! Wirklich Perfekt um Budapest in kurzer Zeit zu erkunden, da das Hotel direkt in der City liegt. Personal steht einem bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung! Wir empfehlen es mit bestem Gewissen weiter!

2nd time to the Astoria and just as good as the last experience

Good: Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra frukost, saknade ingenting. Bra centralt läge. Bad: Rummet saknade toalettartiklar när vi kom och ena nyckeln fungerade inte. Fixades dock snabbt efter att vi påtalat det.

Good: the location was excellent. The hotel reminded me of a period drama with chandeliers etc. it was lovely. Reception were very helpful. we requested tea making facilities in the room, and this request was granted. Bad: the menu was very restricted, especially for vegetarians, and unfortunately it did not vary from day to day, therefore we only used the restaurant once.

本来我们是三个人订了两人间加床，结果升级成大套房，两个双人间两个卫生间那种~虽然设施比较老，但是还是很干净的。也很亲切，价格很值

Huone oli siisti, siivous joka päivä. Hotelli on tyyliltään vanha, mutta aivan ihana, myöskin henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Ja aamiainen runsas ja monipuolinen. Ja sijainti aivan loistava!

Good: Hôtel très bien situé, personnel prévenant, chambre grande et confortable, petit déjeuner excellent Bad: Les véhicules de secours et de police budapestois utilisent une sirène trop stridente que l’on finit par entendre parfois la nuit. Mais ceci n’est pas imputable à l’hôtel !

Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Rezeptionist spricht deutsch, man fühlt sich also direkt zu Hause. Guter Zimmer-Service, immer freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - fast 5-Sterne-Niveau. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt, die Betten bequem. Das Badezimmer war etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Aber sauber. Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Zeit an Silvester in diesem Hause.

Good: Hotel decor, location, friendliness of staff were all outstanding. Front of house reception team and door staff were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a nicely stocked minibar at good prices. 11am checkout was a pleasant bonus. Bad: There was no usb speaker (this is a very minor gripe).

A very nice historic hotel that is well situated and central. The room we had was small, but it was comfortable, clean and neatly updated.

Good: Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Hotel liegt sehr gut an einer U-Bahn-Station und ca. 2 km vom Ostbahnhof entfernt, sowie ca. 1 km von der Donau. Viele gute Restaurants sind in der Umgebung, ebenso wie die Einkaufsstrasse. Das Hotel gibt es seit mehr als 100 Jahren und hat eine sehenswerte Inneneinrichtung. Wir werden es wieder besuchen

We stayed here for 4 nights on February 2018. The hotel is very close to all city attractions and has it’s own metro station (M2 line). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The decoration is old style which give the hotel a very nice look to whom who like it like us. I would definitely go back to this hotel on my next visit on Budapest.

Good: La courtoisie de L accueil, personnel à l écoute ( dès notre arrivée la personne à l accueil nous as renseigné sur les différents lieux touristiques, les restaurants etc). L autre point t fort est le petit déjeuner copieux et variés. Et la situation de L hôtel au cœur de pest au pied du métro, de nombreux bus et proche des attractions touristiques. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Good: Самое главное, как не однократно писалось - это расположение. Автобус 100Е останавливается прямо напротив отеля. Обратно, если это не два ранних рейса, то пешочком до конечной 5-7 мин. Завтраки вполне себе не плохие. Голодными не останется никто. Номер брали Делюкс. Дали на втором этаже с мини-балконом. Не как на фото конечно. На сайте у этих номеров ковровое покрытие во весь номер, у нас небольшой ковёр посередине. Но и стандартом не назвать. Размеры комнаты как в описании. Телек был плоский, правда половина каналов не показывало в т.ч. и русский. Были в середине февраля. В номере было не жарко и не холодно. Батарея работала, с кондиционером на тепло так и не разобрался. При выезде пошёл распечатывать посадочные Wizz и забыл кошелёк у компьютера. Принесли через час в номер. Очень благодарен за это. Bad: Может и есть небольшие нюансы типа старый номерной фонд, матрас не совсем мягкий, маленькие подушки и т.д. но это не было большим минусом. В целом всем доволен.

Good: Один из самых старинных отелей в Будапеште. Шикарное расположение, винтажные интерьеры, вкусные завтраки с хорошим выбором блюд и очень дружелюбный персонал. В каждой смене есть администратор, говорящий по-русски. Bad: Нет халата и тапочек, не работал сейф (плюс он такой маленький, что ноутбук в него не положишь, к примеру), скудный минибар (только напитки и две баночки орешков). На полу в ванной следы плесени, кресло требует химчистки. Те, кто придирчив к мелочам, вряд ли оценят отель в 4 звезды.

Good: A good location on the Pest side. Hotel had a lot of character. The bar/restaurant room was the best feature of the hotel. Bad: Room was quite basic. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Good: Big beds and you got your own blanket in the double bed which seems like a downside but it was actually nice! Lots of selection at breakfast. Very professional and courteous staff. Windows blocked noise from busy streets below. Elevators are very fast. Great old decor style. Bad: Room was very hot the first night and had to turn off all the heaters when we woke in middle of night. Concierge staff were a bit cranky. Hotel bar closed early (10:30'ish), we were used to getting drinks as late as you want in similar Irish hotels. Budapest in general is not as cheap as I imagined for eating out etc.

Good: Very eastern European art deco. Nice and ever so slightly worn just so it doesn’t look too Las Vegas. Perfect location for exploring both Buda and Pest. Breakfast was amazing. Staff had that lovely eastern european style. Perfect stay

Good: Stayed at a few Danubis Hotels, they are very good. Older style Hotel,but we like that, had atmosphere. Staff as usual were excellent in all areas ,very polite and efficient. Wifi good. Bad: Nothing except for the weather.
