Good: Great location, gerat breakfast, great studio for 4!

Good: The room was too large and very well decorated. Very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Also the location is excellent: all types of public transport are across the street and the river Danube with all its the activities is just minutes walking away. Bad: As we spent one week in this hotel and as it was too hot outside, we really needed a cup of coffee in the room. The fact there was no kettle there.

Good: El desayuno Muy bueno y variado. La ubicación del Hotel muy buena pleno centro y cerca de varias atracciones. El bus del Aeropuerto de deja en la puerta del Hotel. Bad: Que el día de la salida No te dan el desayuno porque ellos comienzan a las 7.00hs a servirlo. En el caso nuestro dejamos el hotel a las 6.30hs. porque el avión salia a las 9.00hs. y te piden estar como mínimo 2hs. ante en el aeropuerto. la respuesta fue que ellos no lo preparan como take away. (eso si me lo cobraron igual).

Fantastica location per un soggiorno a Budapest. Hotel dallo stile elegante , camere molto belle ,spaziose luminose e pulite. Il wifi in camera non è sempre funzionante meglio utilizzare la propria connessione. Abbiamo provato anche la colazione, niente di eccezionale, il buffet a un po' di tutto, per quel che costa sceglierei una caffetteria in centro. Posizione ottima! Vicinissima a metro e autobus

Good: Excelente ubicación. En pleno centro. A pocas cuadras del bus 100E que te lleva o trae del aeropuerto. Y desde allí se pueden visitar los puentes, el centro y puntos Turísticos o tomar el bus rojo de turistas. Higiene perfecta. Muy amables en la recepción. Bad: Podría haber una pava eléctrica, café, té, Agua en el frigobar... Ya que la habitación es muy bonita y bien decorada...

Good: Καταπληκτικό ξενοδοχείο. Σε κεντρική τοποθεσία. Μέσα στο εμπορικό κέντρο, με πρόσβαση σε λεωφορείο τραμ και μετρό. Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο, πολύ καλό πρωινό και πολύ καθαρό

Good: La posizione dell'albergo, la pulizia ossessiva, le camere da letto, ampie, belle, stile retrò ma senza pesare troppo. Lo staff sempre presente Bad: Unica, ancora, nota dolente: la colazione. Poca per il prezzo, con la parte di dolci meno sviluppata e forsanche commerciale. Lo staff, pure in altre occasioni eccellente, a colazione è scarso e non attento alle esigenze del cliente. Ma ciò nulla toglie a un albergo veramente al top per tutto il resto

Good: Staff are very accommodating. They allowed me for an early check in after a long 36 hr flight! Location is right in the city centre, opposite the airport bus. Bad: Nothing

We had a lovely experience, went there for a little quiet time with our dog. Everybody at the reception was super sweet and helpful, we asked for a room that didn't face the busy street, it was absolutely perfect. All the rooms, the hallway, the lounge were beautiful, the place has its charm. Definitely not for people who are looking for a modern, minimalistic hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't try their café/restaurant, but it looked good.

It is a nice combination of a historic property (the lobby, cafe and breakfast area had beautiful historic spaces) combined with newly renovated rooms that are comfortable. Location is convenient to the city and also the airport bus 100E.

Everything was perfect at the Hotel, location, transportation access, breakfast, delicious and great variaety. Lovely place. I will be back if i needed.

Good: Beautiful historic property in an excellent location in Budapest. Peaceful and quiet inside the room, you wouldn’t know you were near a busy inner city road network! Good: Hiukan kulahtanut ulkokuori kätki hyvän sydämen. Toimivan julkisen liikenteen pysäkit eivät voisi olla lähempänä, elikkä kaikki oli lähellä. Erittäin hyvin toimiva ilmastointi, ulkona 30 C.

Good: We had a junior suite, which was well equipped and comfortable. The location is very good, close to the metro and in a less noisy area of the city. It's a fine old hotel and has the ambiance of Old Central Europe. The restaurant is good and the breakfast excellent. Bad: The Wifi was very weak in our room.

Good: la posizione ottima per raggiungere qualsiasi luogo e soprattutto per raggiungere l’aeroporto di notte visto che la fermata dell’autobus fermava proprio davanti. Bad: niente, è andato tutto benissimo.

Good: Location was excellent right outside a metro / bus and tram.stop. also within short walking distance of museums . Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of choices. The hotel itself has character and history. So it was interesting to stay here. The staff are kind and helpful. No complaints. Excellent value for the price. We enjoyed staying here I would highly recommend and would book again. Bad: The air conditioning didn't work very well. Otherwise everything else was great 👍

Good: This was my second time staying at the Danubius Hotel Astoria. The staff were just as friendly as I remember. I always enjoy the excellent location (walking to distance to many city sights, restaurants, etc.) and the historic rooms.

街の中心にあるので、夜のライトアップも散歩がてらに見れで便利です。 部屋も綺麗で、建物はクラシックで良い！スタッフも優しい。また機会があれば泊まりたい！

Trevligt hotell med charmig klassisk inredning i foajén. Rustika och rymliga rum. Möjligtvis en aning slitet, men det är en del av charmen. Läget är i princip så centralt det går att komma då hotellet ligger i korsningen av stans två mest vältrafikerade gator. Trots det och en hel del utryckningsfordon som passerar förbi blir nattsömnen inte störd. Stor och varierad frukostbuffé. Överlag ett bra hotell som jag absolut skulle kunna tänka mig att bo på igen nästa gång jag är i Budapest.

Good: Hotel was old and well maintained building. Also it is located near to public transportation, restaurants and others. Bad: Bathroom. There is no shower curtain that can cover the entire bathtub. There's a glass but only half of the bathtub was covered. It's only a minor problem.

Good: A clean and cozy room. A fridge to keep all your food in. Excellent location, in the middle of everything. Received an early check-in without additional charge. Understanding and co-operative reception and cleaning staff. A good breakfast. Bad: Soundproofing between my room and the corridor was poor, luckily my room was located in a "corner" so a lot of people didn't walk past it. When I first checked in and got to my room, there was lots of hairs and toilet paper in the toilet, and I didn't have a bath towel. I received one the next day so no problem. Otherwise cleaning seemed to be done well. Breakfast good but slightly overprized.

Good: The location is just great. Direct shuttle from the airport -100E. Metro station Astoria is in 1 min walk. Lots of restaurants around. Few minutes walk from the parliament. The staff is friendly. Offered free upgrade to existing reservation. Its good value for money. Bad: The hotel is a bit old, but still worth staying at.

Good: Locatie is ideaal. Heel dichtbij de E100 halte voor de (blauwe) bus van en naar het vliegveld, halte voor de hop-on-hop-off bus en het metrostation. Heel centraal gelegen, veel horeca in de buurt. Historie van dit oude hotel is voelbaar en zichtbaar. Het hotel is niet up-to-date, maar dat geeft juist zijn historische charme. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is situated very close to bus and metro stops and really convenient for both airport and train station. It was also easy to walk to the main sights and restaurant areas. The hotel is on the corner of 2 busy roads so some rooms could possibly be noisy. The room we stayed in was at the back of the hotel so quiet, very spacious and clean

Good: (1) Building design, authentic condition & history; (2) Breakfast in beautiful room & well managed by staff; (3) Bathroom shower; (4) Openable bedroom windows; (5) BBC World channel on bedroom TV; (6) Water kettle delivered to bedroom upon request. Bad: (1) Staff almost without exception efficient, helpful & friendly. Only one grumpy bloke found in restaurant at dinner; (2) Towel policy seems shaky - changed even if rehung carefully, as instructed; (3) Room not visited by housekeeping on 2nd day.

Good: Hotel antiguo con mucho encanto, excelente estado de las zonas comunes bar restaurante y habitaciones, estas son muy cómodas y grandes. (La que estuvimos). Muy buen desayuno y muy buena ubicación a pasos de transporte público y a caminata de varios sitios de interés

Good: Amazing hotel with an old-fashioned yet very charming vibe that makes you feel like you are in another time. The room was very big and elegant with a very nice view on the streets. The staff is super friendly and available, ready to satisfy every need. The breakfast is huge and it is worthy also if you just sit in the beautiful room and relax with a coffee. Very good quality-price ratio. Highly recommended! Bad: I would have liked to have a boiler/coffee machine in the room and a bottle of water in the fridge. The "sweet" offer at breakfast is a bit limited. Sometimes the noise from the streets in the night is very loud although the windows usually shield it very well.

Good: The location was great. Not far from the river and right next to a metro stop. The front desk was very helpful on recommendation, including the best place to exchange money. The room was quiet and staff was great. When asked for additional pillows, they were delivered very quickly.

Frontdesk staff was helpful. My room initially had a minor electrical power problem. The maintenance staff came by within minutes to resolve it. There was also a mix-up in room assignment. Both guests assigned to the same room were amiable, and the front desk quickly resolved the matter. Not a big deal but obviously should not have happenened in the first place.

Good: Location. It is right in the center of the city. It is within waking distance to everywhere. You can enjoy the night view of the river every night. I did. It has a Macdonald in the same building, very convinient for a good cup of nice iced americano which is not easily available in Hungary. There is a cafe in the ground floor which serves good food in the classic atmosphere. The room is big enough for two of us and the bathroom has a tub. If you are a big fan of an old classic hotel, this is it. We stayed for 7 days and I would recomend it to my friends. And the airport bus stops right before the hotel. Bad: It is situated right in the middle of a big cross road so a little noisy even at night. If you are very sensive to noises, this hotel is not for you.

Pues me ha encantado! Como diría Michael Portillo, te sientes como un viajero eduardiano. La ubicación es fantástica, puedes ir a todos los sitios dando un paseo ( y en la puerta está la parada del bus al aeropuerto y el que te lleva al balneario schrinzy o como se llame ;) Es un hotel con más de cien años, que sigue manteniendo la estética de esa época ( y ahí reside su encanto) Cuando estuvimos, estaban grabando una peli de época. Hay habitaciones modernas ( reformadas) y otras clásicas ( más antiguas) Nos quedamos en la clásica y es amplías, limpias, la cama muy cómoda y el baño completamente reformado. Y el precio está muy bien

Good: Beautiful historic little building in the center of Pest. The rooms were spacious, clean and cozy. Everything was pretty much walking distance. The breakfast options were decent enough as well. Bad: Some of the restaurant staff can be a bit more courteous towards guests.

Good: it’s beautiful. the staff is very helpful, courteous pleasant and the meals were exceptional. the room was extremely comfortable. Bad: You have the best front desk manager. Laszlo Zsida is a great asset to the hotel. He goes out of his way to make sure the guests needs are met.

Good: location was excellent and very helpful staff. Nice hotel which although slightly less modern than some alternatives has all the facilities needed in full working order. Had a really nice bathtub!

Good: Location was AMAZING - right in the center. I 10 minute walk to the jewish quarter and restaurants. A Tesco literally 2 minutes away. Every mode of transportation from the underground hub. The airport bus drops off right across the street - going back to the airport is a 10 minute walk to the stop (which was a bit of a disappointment - but not the end of the world - as we left in the middle of the night - we opted for a taxi instead of the walk - there are shared shuttles too). staff was outstanding - not that we needed them much, but when we did they were really pleasant and helpful. Room - we choose the cheapest...it was a bit dated, but really not something that affected our stay at all. the room was large and comfortable with basic amenities. Bad: I think I would prefer a walk in shower to a bathtub, but I knew that I had chosen a room with a tub (the ones with showers cost a bit more). the hotel is at an intersection that requires going down a flight of stairs and then up - I am not sure how someone with mobility issues handles this intersection - important to understand first if you have such issues - this is not a problem with the hotel, but rather an issue at this specific intersection, which could affect someone who stays at the hotel.

Good: המלון נמצא במיקום מעולה, בדיוק מעל תחנת הרכבת אסטוריה, מרחק הליכה מהרובע היהודי, הדנובה, הוואצי והבזיליקה. היינו במיני סוויטה, זוג ומתבגרת, הסוויטה מרווחת וגדולה, יש חדר אמבטיה עם שירותים ועוד שירותים נפרד, חוץ מהמיטה הנפתחת ששמו למתבגרת יש סלון שמאפשרות ישיבה משותפת. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מספקת ביחס לארוחות בוקר באירופה. Bad: עיצוב המלון מיושן, חלק מהקטע שלו, אני פחות אוהבת. החדר שלנו פנה לרחוב ויש רעש רב ממנו, לנו זה לא הפריע אבל חשוב לדעת. הכריות רכות מידי לטעמי. בלילה האחרון חזרנו לחדר מאוחר, שאלנו את פקיד הקבלה אם נוכל לפנות את החדר ביום למחרת בשעה 13:30, הוא אמר שאין בעיה. ביום למחרת חזרנו מפעילות בשעה 12:30, כרטיס הכניסה לחדר כבר לא עבד לנו, כשביקשתי בקבלה לחדש אותו קיבלתי נזיפה מפקיד הקבלה שהם צריכים את החדר ושחיפשו אותנו. הסברתי לגבי השיחה עם פקיד הקבלה בלילה לפני אך הוא התעלם והמשיך לנזוף בנו. כמובן שפינינו את החדר לאחר כמה דקות אך עזבנו בטעם מר.

Good: Le personnel est amical et efficace. Ils nous ont aidés à imprimer les billets de train. Le bâtiment de l'hôtel est magnifique, il est historique et imposant, on s'y sent bien. Prendre le petit déjeuner dans une si belle cafétéria et déjeuner ou dîner dans leur restaurant a été merveilleux, la nourriture est délicieuse. Nous avons eu un si bon petit déjeuner buffet, complet avec rien à manquer. Il est proche de tout à pied et aussi du métro, du tram et de l'arrêt de bus. Un quartier qui a tous les services à proximité. Bref, nous retournons à Budapest et nous logerons à l'Astoria. Bad: Nous avons été ravis, vraiment. Rien à critiquer.

Excelente atención en la recepción. Quiero mencionar que el Sr. Ivan tuvo la gentileza de acompañarme hasta la estación del metro para la compra de boletos. Los que han estado por acá habrán notado que esto es complicado.

Fantastic hotel steeped in history and elegance. Great central location. Lovely staff who go above and beyond to help. Reception staff very helpful with booking taxis, giving advice and recommendations. Even printed my boarding passes for us at no charge. The gentleman and his trainee who checked us out this morning was extremely , polite , helpful and professional, a real credit to the hotel. We have travelled the world and it’s not often you find a gem of a hotel with amazing staff like this ! Thank you so much for everything .

Good: Больше всего мне понравилось расположение гостиницы, это самый центр и добираться в любое место очень удобно, прямо рядом спуск в метро и можно добраться до любой точки. Моей жене понравился завтрак, да он был вкусный, хотя лично мне он показался однообразным и каждый день одинаковый, мы были там неделю и немного приелось. Убирают комнату долго и хорошо, правда несколько дней не добавили мыла для мытья рук, на наш вопрос сказали что нету мыла. Вообще осталось только положительные впечатления от этой гостиницы, вернулся бы ещё в будущем.
