Good: The Danubius Astoria in Budapest is undoubtedly one of my favorite hotels in the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The elegant café adds a touch of class to the stay, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and a cup of coffee. What’s truly remarkable about this hotel is the consistently courteous and professional staff. They always make you feel welcome and attend to your needs with a smile. Furthermore, the hotel’s location is excellent. You’ll find yourself in the heart of Budapest, with many of the city’s attractions within easy reach. I’ve had numerous memorable stays at the Danubius Astoria, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and well-located place to stay in Budapest.

Good: Me gustó la ubicación central, el desayuno super completo, y las piezas muy grandes. Bad: El baño. Se salía todos los días el agua de la ducha, y el secador de pelo funcionaba pésimo.

Good: It is near to everything walking distance only to Metro shops restaurants tour bus and also transport/bus to airport. Staffs are helpful accommodating and friendly. It was a comfortable stay. They have luggage storage and even umbrella to avail. The bathroom has everything you need too. Bad: A bit pricy but worth it

Good: Bellissimo hotel, arredi stupendi, sopratutto per chi come noi adora l'antiquariato, posizione strategica per muoversi, 800 metri sei sulla riva del danubio, e tre fermate del big bus sulla strada Bad: Prezzo della colazione 16.00 euro a persona un pò alto rispetto al prezzo della camera

Good: La posizione dell'albergo è perfetta per visitare la città: praticamente si trova sulla metro e sulla fermata del bus 100E per l'aeroporto. Il quartiere è tranquillo e ricco di locali per cenare e dopocena. L'albergo è in un edificio storico e mantiene tutto il fascino della struttura di primo Novecento, con qualche piccola sbavatura nell'arredamento della stanza e nella pulizia. Ma si può perdonare. Bad: La colazione, fatta per fortuna solo una volta, non merita il costo: prodotti di non grande qualità e scelta abbadstanza limitata. Si può fare molto meglio.

Good: Posizione strategica per muoversi, presenti numerose fermate dei bus. Facile da raggiungere dall’aeroporto. Struttura accogliente e personale cordiale, colazione internazionale ottima. Consigliato! Bad: Unica pecca la pulizia della camera, era presente molta polvere.

Good: The bed was comfortable, the shower was extremely good. Breakfast was also very good. The location was excellent -- walking distance to many interesting sights and areas, and located directly on a metro line. My room (a classic single) looked out onto an inner courtyard, which meant a boring view, but also meant very little traffic noise. Bad: The floors were thin enough for me to hear the guy above me singing and dropping things on the floor (fortunately he was there only one night). Also, I seemed to be allergic to something in the room -- keeping the window open helped ease the symptoms.

Prime location and easy access to bus/trams/metro. Large and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast is available for 15 EUR for an adult.

Good: Hotel bem localizado e com estilo arquitetônico belíssimo. Café da manhã perfeito. Perto de tudo.valeu muito a pena. Estão de parabéns.A decoração é clássica e que compõe muito bem com o Hotel.

Good: Framförallt läget men även frukosten och personalen. Bad: Kan vara lite högljutt med trafiken dok inget som störde oss.

Good: Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Good: Old world ambience.. service.. location. Right by hop on hop off bus and easy walk to boats for night cruises.

Good: Friendly staff at counter. We arrived around 10am. So i assume we want to drop our luggage because chck in time is on 3pm. Luckily we can check in early. Room : Spacious complete with cabinet Bathroom : have bath up Bad: Maybe something not going well with the system. Water tap in the sinki not so hot. Have to open the tap quite long then you can feel the hot water

Good: We found the location excellent, close to Metro and city destinations we wanted to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the Olde world charm and grandness of the hotel. It enhanced our Budapest experience. The staff were helpful and cheerful.

Overall experience was very positive. The reception staff (Kiraly, Gabor and Ezter) were excellent. Thank you.

One the better hotols i stsyed at this trip

Good: Old & quaint! But we had a lovely large room. Walking distance to some of the places we wanted to visit. Great for getting the Hop on Hop off bus. Great breakfast.

Good: Great location. Good breakfast. Clean well equipped rooms. Friendly staff. Good prices in bar for both food and drink. Communal areas clean,tidy and very well presented. Bad: Nothing wrong

Good: Situation géographique idéale en centre ville, prés du métro. Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner correct, Personnel compétents et serviable.

Good: Everything Bad: No negative comments. Only the air conditioner I couldn’t put it colder. But it was cold. I just like really low temperatures to sleep. But my dad said it was perfect.

Good: Location, location, location! Bad: The property had a funky smell, everything had an old moldy smell to it, hotel desperately needs a refurbish. Other than that the employees were great and helpful. Didnt eat there so i cant really have an opinion about that.

Good: The location right next to a Metro station and the room we stayed in was modern clean with a fantastic shower. Bar staff were very attentive without being overbearing and the restaurant food was good too. Full marks for this hotel we will be back. Bad: Breakfast was adequate but somewhat limited.

Good: Very good location near the subway and lots of restaurants, bars, stores within walking distance. Room was large, bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and polite. Bad: Carpet is visibly stained in places. Hotel smells slightly "old" throughout.

Great old-style hotel in an excellent location for exploration the city. Great value for the rate paid. Staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Daniel, who went out of his way to research train options for visiting Lake Balaton. Would definitely stay at the Danubius Astoria again on a future visit to Budapest.

Good: Was a beautiful hotel. Great location, central to everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice. Had tea in the evenings and the men serving were real gentlemen, making you feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend this fabulous hotel. Worth a visit. Bad: There wasn't one thing that we could complain about. Everything was 100%. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay. Very happy memories

המלון ממוקם ממש ביציאה מהמטרו של תחנת אסטוריה בלב העיר. במרחק הליכה מהרבה אטרקציות בעיר . המלון בסגנון תקופתי עם שטיחים וילונות וריהוט עץ לא מודרני, צוות המלון היה קשוב ונתן טיפים לטיול בעיר .

Very nice hotel with pleasant staff. Good selection of items for breakfast and some nice cocktail deals also. Very centrally located. Beware that there are three of these hotels in Budapest with the same name. It can cause issues if you get a taxis back to the hotel. Make sure it is the correct hotel you tell the driver.

Hotel is very traditional in architecture and furnishing, however unlike many city hotels of this type, it has been maintained in excellent condition and modernised sympathetically where needed. Room furnishings all of good quality without the usual signs of wear and tear. The hotel staff could not have been more helpfull nor more pleasant. Breakfast always of good quality and good selection, including a made to order facilty for omlettes etc. Although the hotel interior was of a high standard, the two adjacent hotel entrances were not very noticable, one of these was possible to confuse as a jewellers shop. The location is good at a busy city centre interchange offering different public transport options. Sound insulation in the rooms was good and only infrequently passing emergency service vehicles could be heard. Many restaurants and shops are within a 10 minute walking circle.

My wife and I stayed here 2 weeks ago. It is a great old hotel with helpful staff, clean rooms, close to transit, great buffet and lovely dining room where you can relax and enjoy a coffee and cake and people watch.

Good: The size of the room, the location, the aesthetics of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and quietness when the window was closed. Also liked being able to open the window for some fresh air. Bad: There were someone’s toenail clippings on the carpet throughout the room which was a bit off putting.

Чисто, уютно, есть лифт - что немало важно когда у вас тяжелые чемоданы✅ В номере вы найдёте все необходимое - чайник, микроволновку, плиту, холодильник, посуду, кастрюли и сковородку, приборы✅ Также можно оставить вещи в их офисе и пойти гулять если у вас чекаут утром, а вылет вечером✅ 10 из 10

외관과 로비는 올드하지만 위치가 최고고 주위에 aldi마켓이 50미터내에 있어서 너무 좋아요 리노베이션 안한 룸에 묵었는데 카펫 만큼은 꼭 교체했으면 좋겠네요 직원도 친절하고 좋아요

Good: Otelin konumu muhteşemdi. Şehir içinde görmek istediğim her yere yürüme mesafesindeydi. Ayrıca ulaşım araçlarına, market ve restoranlara da çok yakındı. Şehrin tam kalbi diyebilirim. Odanın boyutu ve olanakları gayet iyiydi. Otelin restoranında ve resepsiyonda çalışanlar profesyonel, kibar ve yardımseverdi. Ama hepsinin ötesinde beni en çok etkileyen yani otel binasının tarihi atmosferi oldu. Tam.da gezimin ruhuna uygundu bu ayrıntı. Bad: Doğrusu ilk anda beni rahatsız eden tek ayrıntı odanın 'duvar manzarali" olmasıydı. Fakat zaten bütün gün gezip duş alıp uyuduğum için çok da 'takılmadım.'
