Für einen Städtetrip und Ankunft mit Zug nur zu empfehlen. Okay, direkt an der Kreuzung sind auch die geschlossenen Fenster nicht schalldicht aber wenn man abends ins Hotel kommt, möchte man eh nur noch schlafen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und auch die Möbel waren nicht abgewohnt, wie es manch andere beschrieben. Das das Hotel abseits liegt - okay, Stadtmitte ist woanders aber selbst von dort sind wir 35min zu Fuß gelaufen und ins Jüdische Viertel 10min. Also wir würden das Hotel bei Bahnanreise und verlängertem Wochenende wieder wählen. Ales weitere, was Verkehrsanbindung und Sightseeing angeht - ist alles direkt vor der Türe.

Hotel: Ein Hotel mit 499 Zimmern an einer stark befahrenen Straße - Rakoczi ut -. Beim Eintritt in die Empfangshalle fühlt man sich schon sehr wohl. Wir hatten nur Frühstück. Gäste waren überwiegend Japaner aber auch Engländer, Italiener, Franzosen und Deutsche. Das Alter kann man sagen zwische 18 Jahre und 70 Jahre. Location: Das Hotel ist 200 m vom Keleti Bahnhof entfernt und sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein Spaziergang vom Hotel bis zum Donauufer dauert ca. 30 Minuten, dort beginnt auch die vaci utca.. Auf dem Weg kommt man an kleinen Geschäften,Imbißstuben und Restaurants vorbei. Ist man einmal im Centrum dann ist der Weg zur Fischerbastei oder auf den Gellertberg nicht mehr weit. Auf den Gellertberg kann man auch mit der - Silko Bahn - fahren. Ein Besuch der -Großen Markthalle- lohnt sich genauso wie der -Chinesische Markt-. Service: Das Personal, Reception, Speisesaal, Zimmer war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit der Zimmerreinigung waren wir auch zufrieden, nur nicht mit den Betten. Das Betllaken - Doppelbett- war zu kurz und zu schmal. Es war nur auf die Matraze gelegt und bei jeder Bewegung rutschte es mit. Das sollte man doch mal ändern. Food: Im Hotel gibt es eine Bar, Speisesaal und Restaurant. Das Frühstücksbuffet war Spitze. Es wurde auch sofort wieder aufgefüllt, wenn etwas ausgegangen war. Vor 8.30 Uhr sollte man nicht zum Frühstück gehen. Es ist dann sehr voll und das Gedränge groß. Room: Das Zimmer war geräumig. Gefüllter Kühlschrank, Fernsehen auch mit dt. Programmen, Klimaanlage, elektr. Wasserkocher waren vorhanden. Tee- oder Kaffeebeutel konnte man tel. bei der Hausdame bestellen und wurde sofort aufs Zimmer gebracht. Es ist ratsam ein Zimmer zur Hofseite zu nehmen, man kann dann das Fenster öffnen und wird nicht durch den Straßenlärm gestört. Advice: Da wir 32° hatten, haben wir einige Male durch die Reception ein Taxi bestellt. Das war sehr günstig und wir brauchten uns nicht in die vollen Bahnen quetschen.

Hotel: Das Best Western Hotel war bei dem Reiseangebot von Hofer Reisen (Aldi) includiert. Es ist sowohl von außen als auch von innen ein großes Hotel. Es ist im Stil eines typischen Wiener Hotels. Das merkt man gleich, wenn man die Empfangshalle betritt. Sie ist groß und gediegen mit einigen kleinen Shops. Von der Halle aus kommt man zu den Liften sowie zum Speisesaal und zu den Bars. Das Hotel hat 5 Stockwerke und sehr viele Zimmer. Alles in allem macht das Hotel einen freundlichen und sauberen Eindruck. Location: Das Hotel liegt nur unweit, ca. 400m, vom Ostbahnhof Keleti entfernt. Zu Fuß leicht erreichbar. Es bifindet sich direkt an der vorbeiführenden Straße Rakoczi. Auf dieser Straße befinden sich Metro und Straßenbahnstationen. Als erster sollte man sie aber zu Fuß bis zur Donau begehen (Gehzeit ca. eine halbe Stunde), da sie genügend Eindrücke bietet. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es mehrere Supermärkte, Fast Food Ketten und kleinere Restaurants. Service: Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. An der Reception wird man freundlich und korrekt empfangen. Es wird auch deutsch gesprochen. Für Wünsche und Fragen gibt es immer ein offenes Ohr. Food: Der Frühstücksraum ist groß und hell. Auch hier merkt man den altwiener Stil. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist vorhanden. Sowohl warme als auch kalte Speisen. Verschiedenes Gebäck und süßes gibt es in reicher Auswahl. Ebenso auch Obst. Den Kaffee drückt man sich aus der Maschine und schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt frische Fruchtsäfte. Auch hier ist das Pesonal sehr umsichtig. Fehlendes wird sofort nachgereicht. Die Tische werden nach dem Verlassen sofort gereinigt und neu gedeckt. Mit so einem Frühstück kann der Tag gestärkt begonnen werden. Mein Tip: zwischen 07.30 Uhr und 08.15 Uhr, herrscht im Speisesaal der größte Andrang. Ab 08.15 Uhr wird es dann immer ruhiger und es ist nicht so ein Gedränge. Room: Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Ein Fernseher mit deutschen Programmen ist vorhanden. Ebenso ein Kühlschrank (leer). Da es am Tag sehr heiß war, konnten wir im Külschrank unsere Getränke und Jause einkühlen.Ebenso gibt es eine Klimaanlage die gut funktionierte. Die hatten wir aber nicht benützt, da wir das Zimmer Hofseitig hatten und dadurch das Fenster offen ließen. Lediglich das Badezimmer ist etwas klein und auf jeden Fall renovierungsbedürftig. Die Armaturen sind noch Zweihandarmaturen und der Brausekopf ist auch schon älter. Es gibt auch nur eine Ablage. Aber Hand auf´s Herz, als wir nach einem langen Städtebummel am Abend verschwitzt in´s Zimmer kamen war es uns dann wirklich egal wie das Wasser aufgedreht wurde Hauptsache man war wieder frisch und sauber. Und so war es dann auch. Also uns hat es nicht gestört. Das Bett war groß und die Matratzen bescherten uns einen angenehmen Schlaf. Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut. Advice: Beim Einchecken nach einem Hofseitigen Zimmer fragen. Man kann das Fenster offen lassen und man hört keinen Straßenlärm. Wer an keine Museumsbesuche oder sonstigen Führungen interessiert ist, soll vom Kauf einer Busdapestcard abstand nehmen. Die ist dann viel zu teuer, wenn man nur die Öffis benützen will. Wir haben uns in der Metrostation an der Kasse (geht auch am Automaten) ein 24 Stunden Ticket gekauft. Mit diesem kann man alle Öffis unbegrenzt benützen. Unser Tip: wenn schon die Füße weh tun, einfach in irgendeine Straßenbahnlinie setzten und die gesamte Strecke durchfahren und bei der Endstation wieder zurück. Man sieht da viele tolle Eindrücke von der Stadt und die Füße können einige Zeit ausspannen. Wir haben das bei drei Linien so gemacht und es war super. Hat uns was gefallen, sind wir einfach ausgestiegen haben uns das angeschaut und sind dann wieder zugestiegen. Einfach mal probieren-super.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Lage: in Sichtweite vom Bahnhof Keleti pu. Frühstück mit reichlicher Auswahl und gut! Safe kostenlos am Empfang! Servie hervoragend und stets freundlich. Tipp 1. Tauschen Sie kein Geld bei der Western Union Reisebank, sie wollten uns ca. 20 % weniger für € tauschen. Tipp 2. Statt der Budapestcard besser und billiger die Travelercard am Metrostand, Budapestcard für 3 Tage 7900 Forint zwar mit Einrittsermäßigungen, Travelcard für 3 Tage 3100 Forint, damit können Sie mit Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus kreuz und quer fahren und so oft sie wollen, strenge Kontrollen! Fahren mit der Metro kein Problem, achten Sie auf die Richtungsangabe, wichtiger Knotenpunkt und Umsteigemöglichkeit: Deak Ferenec ter Preise haben schon meist westliches Niveau ! unbedingt sehenswert: Burganlage in Buda + Altstadt, Fischerbastei, Markthalle bei der Freiheitsbrücke, Zitadelle, Freiheitsdenkmal am Gellertberg, Cafe New York, zwischen Bahnhof Keleti pu und Donau, wohl das orginellste aber nicht billige Cafe in Budapest, Parlament weiter zu empfehlen: Synagoge, größte Europas, war nachmittags geschlossen, Zoo, Zirkus, Heldenpark, beim Oktogon! Oper, bei schönem Wetter: flanieren an der Donau, Eis essen u. a. bei schlechtem Wetter besuchen Sie ein Thermalbad, im Hotel Gellert das Gellertbad, das Rudasbad am Fuß des Gellertberges, Szechenyi-Bad beim Zoo, meist unter freiem Himmel! Westbahnhof mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Fußgängerzone paralell zur Donau nahe Mariott Hotel Taschengeld, so zwischen 30 - 50 € pro Tag und Person, als Richtungsangabe und nach persönlichem Bedarf. Speisen: einfach ab 6 € bis über 25 €, Beilagen extra, teils auch Preisangaben bei Fleisch und Fisch für 100 gr ! Viel Spaß und schönen Aufenthalt!

Gutes Stadthotel in zentraler Lage am Bahnhof Keleti pu, hier kommen alle Züge aus Wien an. Verkehrskontenpunkt beim Bahnhof, U-Bahn, Bus, hier ist eine 3 Tage Metro-Karte zu empfehlen Reisetipps; alte Burganlage in Buda, Donau und die vielen Brücken ( Kettenbrücke, Freiheitsbrücke u. a ),Markthalle, Innenstadt, Parlament, St. Stefans-Kirche, Heldenpark, Zoo, Thermalbäder, Gellertbad u. a. Cafe New York Speisen und Getränke sind nicht mehr so günstig, Lokale, man muss schon etwas suchen unter 10 €, bessere 20 €

Good: I really liked the location, located close to the city and if you don’t feel like walking to the center the bus stop is located right outside the hotel and the bus runs every few minutes. The hotel staff was very professional and kind, and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and variety of options in terms of different milks, vegetarian options etc.

Bad: Priset var lite för högt per natt. Man kände mat- och lökdoften rakt i sitt rum den första natten. Någon lagade eller beställde kryddstark mat till sitt rum som gjorde att matdoften spred sig till hela korridoren och även mitt rum. En balkong saknades i rummet. Sortimentet för frukost var lite fattig.

Good: Staff were very friendly and helpful especially two of the men, the one that checked us in and the one I asked about checkout. It’s easily accessible by public transport, you can reach all the major sights easily via the bus that is a two minute walk away or the metro. 10 minute walk to tram 2 which also goes past the major sites. Room was very clean. Bad: Nothing everything was great.

Good: L’hotel molto moderno,anche le camere molto carine apparte il bagno piccolissimo. Bad: La prima notte mi sono svegliato per bere e purtroppo non avevo acqua naturale ,sono sceso giù in reception implorando perché mi sentivo male ,il receptionist che fa la notte molto antipatico non mi ha dato l’acqua naturale nonostante li avessi detto che stavo male (mi ha portato l’acqua frizzante che non bevo)tutto questo per non prendere una semplice bottiglia dal bar . Sono stato costretto a ordinare l’acqua da un applicazione ,sinceramente non è quello che mi aspetto da un hotel a 4 stelle. Per quanto riguarda il resto tutto perfetto .

Good: Отель расположен очень удобно: рядом в пешей доступности ж.д.вокзал, совсем рядом станция метро и автобусные/троллейбусные остановки во все концы города. Отель расположен в 15-20 минутах ходьбы от центра города. Рядом в 10-15 минутах ходьбы большой торговый центр Арена и маркет ТЕСКО. Сам отель тихий. При поселении не было проблем с ранним заселением. Спасибо менеджеру Имре, который при оформлении нашего заселения проконсультировал нас по всем интересующим вопросам и по отелю, и по транспорту в городе, дал карту города и туристические брошюры. Хороший разнообразный завтрак. Ресторан на ремонте, но в баре можно пообедать и поужинать, кухня неплохая и есть чем покормить ребенка. Номер полулюкс был хороший, с видом во дворик внутренний, поэтому не было слышно шума городских улиц. Но персоналу необходимо еще поработать над уборкой номера (за все 6 ночей не вытиралось косметическое зеркало с обратной стороны, вследствие чего когда смотрел в большое зеркало, на которое было прикреплено косметическое двухстороннее зеркало, тебе в глаза сразу бросались пыль с обратной стороны косметического зеркала и пятна от рук) и устранить проблемы с канализационными запахами (периодически в туалете/ванной комнате появлялись запахи канализационных газов). Очень удобно, что в отеле есть камера хранения, т.е. при выселении из номера нет проблем с багажом до отправки поезда.

Good: Great staff from start to finish, from the manager to the cleaning team. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and early check-in was available when possible. I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back and extended it. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the beds were excellent—extremely comfortable! I especially loved the mattress and had a very relaxing sleep. It was also nice that the windows could be opened for fresh air.
