Good: We were impressed with the attention to detail that made our stay pleasant and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and accommodating the the room was exceptional. We loved to sit on our balcony and enjoy the view of Margit Island. The pools were also exceptional. Bad: For the price of our room, a little more breakfast may have been nice, but we really loved our stay and plan to go back.

Only bad thing was shower. It would not stay up. This was reported and was told ever one says the same.but problem never gets flxed

Good: I liked the Hungarian people most,the Hotel was very clean and comfortable.The staff were reserved but most helpful,very hard workers.I will definitely return Bad: the hotel is a bit out from the city (10 minutes by taxi).Otherwise no dislikes.

We spent a weekend at hotel Danubius, and we mainly chose it for the good location and its spa facilities. Our room was very clean, spacy and quiet with a comfortable bed, the WiFi connection was strong and fast. The breakfast buffe was huge and tasty, with lots of choices.

Good: Spa termal waters, lovely. Breakfast good,but will improve if varied occasionally.Transport from hotel to city, very convenient,and starts from steps away from hotel. Special thanks to Concierge Kinga. Bad: Some ares near hotel, but you get used to that quick and it is no problem anymore.

Good: Comfortable bedroom;several pools with different temperatures; quiet atmosphere; our tarrif did not cover breakfast buffet but we found the coffee and croissant adequate for out needs. Bad: Nothing to dislike.

We loved it!!!! It's right across the street from a grocery store, around the corner from a way-cool bakery, about a half mile from an Aldi with an in-store bakery and interesting wine department. The Hungarian beers we found there were great.

Good: Nice wellness area also gardens facing the Danube. Trolley bus 75 takes you directly to Heroes Square / City Park. Bad: the chambermaid knocking on the door every morning - had to put 'do not Disturb' sign up! Maybe best put it up evening before but one doesn't think...

Good: The cofee with croissants. The pools. The Gym. The size of the bed. Bad: There was always some plates of food in the corridor, maybe a problem of other guests.

Good: The wellness area is great, some of the best pools I've seen in a hotel. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Bad: Wi-Fi was rather weak in the room,

Rooms were very comfortable and of a very high standard. The buffet breakfast was very good value for money with alot to choose from. The swimming and sauna area was also very nice and extra's were also very good value for money. And we also had the sweetest cleaning lady on the 6th floor.

Good: I stayed here 4 weeks a few years ago from a business trip and I liked it very much. This time I came to Budapest with my girlfriend and I liked it so much I booked us a room here again. GREAT HOTEL Bad: Pricey breakfast

Good: We went to the Sziget-festival, and wanted to have a good sleep in a good hotel. Danubius gave us excactly what we needed. A good bed, perfect bathroom, airco and wifi. We had a pleasant stay.

Bad: Sauna area is a bit small and it's separated for male and female. WLAN was poor, disconnected every 2 minutes..

Good: The facilities and the location are perfect. The hotel is luxury. We loved the swimming facilities. The check out time is very generous as it is until midday. Bad: Despite the fact that we booked only one night, and therefore the staff should have known that we were moving out the next day, the cleaning staff entered the room twice in the morning (around 8am however, the check out time is until midday).

Good: Excellent location, trolleybus nr. 75 stops in front of hotel and takes you directly to Parliament, and 7 minutes walk to nearest metro station makes it great for sightseeing the very centre of Budapest. Free swimming in a pool is very useful after a long day of walk around the city. Great pricing!

Good: The hotel is easy to find, I was able to find it without a map and GPS navigation. The location is good. The neighbourhood is not really classy, but public transport is very close and the Margit island is just a stroll away. The hotel staff are simply excellent. During our stay there from Friday night till Sunday afternoon I have met at least 6 receptionists/concierges and all were extremely friendly and helpful. A young lady concierge also helped us by searching something on the Internet for me. The SPA center is very nice as well, it offers a relatively large pool, a couple thermal baths, sauna, etc... Excellent for relaxation after a day of walking in the city. Breakfast is adequate, not really excellent, but you don't leave hungry! Bad: Internet access is not free.

Good: It was a pleasant spa weekend in Budapest. Hotel is very good, spa and poolside are perfect. Rooms are clean, big enough and nice furbished. Bad: There were a lot of older people, so I would not say it is place where young would like to spend some days for fun. At the end, it is a kind of rehabilitation center, so that is something you can expect. Anyway, we still could enjoy in massage, bath and saunas.

Good: Pleasant rooms, helpful staff, good value for money even arriving late at night the staff were very helpful. breakfasts were good value for money. room was more than large enough for our requirements. only one slight improvement comment - western europeans might appreciate having milk left in the room with the coffee sachets.

We were very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The hotel is located in a very good location. There is direct access to bus (trolley/bus), only 1 station (approx. - 600 meters) to the metro station. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood and (as usual) in Budapest confectioneries. A supermarket is about 50m from the hotel. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. In the room you will find everything you may need. Safe, TV, iron, minibar, shampoo ... Everything was available. The staff was helpful at all times and nice. The wellness-rooms were also very clean. The food I sadly can't say, since we did not booked breakfast. In my opinion, are up to 20€/breakfast too much, but the room rate (superior with Danube-view for about 35 euros per night) can't be beat. If I want to go to Budapest, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Det var et rigtig fint og godt hotel at bo på, dog lå det lidt langt ude hvis man skulle gå, men det var muligt at gå ind til centrum

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat a szállodában !!! Elhelyezkedését tekintve kedvező. 🥰 A személyzet kedves !🙃☺️Ár-érték arányban rendben minden. A wellness nagyon szuper: a sókamrát kipróbáltuk , nagyon élveztük, csak azt sajnáltuk , hogy nem együtt van a férfi és a női szauna. A kilátás a szobából gyönyörű volt, és a reggeli nagyon bőséges és finom! Tökéletes Valentin 2 nap volt számunkra 🥰🌹😍❤️Köszönjük ! Anita & Máté Debrecenből

Már a becsekkolás sem volt zökkenőmentes, háromnegyed órát vártunk a sorban míg ez megtörténhetett. A szoba nagyon meleg volt, nem lehetett szellőztetni megfelelően. Az ágyak nagyon puhák, roggyantak voltak. A két külön ágyat összetoltuk , alatta szemét volt. A szaunát meztelenül vették igénybe, elég kritikátlanul a vendégek. A szilveszter éjjel és hajnal a kutyavonítások miatt kimerítő volt, ezért reggel elhagytuk a szállodát. Nagy csalódás volt ez a szálloda.

Hotel: Ein Hotel, wie man es sich wünscht. Es gab keine Mängel. Nur positives zu berichten. Wir waren ueber die Weihnachten dort. Un das mit unserem Hund. Absolut kein Problem. Da umliegend relativ viele Wiese vorhanden war, sehr problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder dort buchen. Schade in Budapest ist eigentlich nur, das unprofessionelle Verhalten bei der Metro. Als deutsch sprechender bekommt man dort nur abweisendes Verhalten. Die sind sich einfach nicht bewusst, dass man auch in der Schweiz Deutsch spricht. Das zieht sich uebrigens durch die ganze Stadt fort. Interessant, dass Verkäufer auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt praktisch alle Deutsch konnten.

Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente! Ben collegato con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico, arredamento moderno ed elegante, colazione a buffet che può soddisfare qualsiasi palato, Spa disponibile fino alle 22:00, staff gentile e disponibile. Giudizio più che positivo! Hotel consigliatissimo!

Hotel: Ich war das letzte Mal vor 3 Jahren in diesem Hotel und kann nur sagen das es sich sehr verbessert hat. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind komplett umgebaut worden und ich hatte ein super Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. War 1 Nacht dort und bin am nächsten Tag nach Szeged ins Novotel (siehe writer Bewertung) weiter gereist.

Hotel moderno e di buon gusto. Elegante e confortevole. Bellissima la vista sull’isola Margherita. Ben collegato al centro. Colazione fantastica!

Veldig bra. Smakfull og godt utvalg på frokostbuffen. Vi spiste også middag på hotellet - meget god mat og god service! Bussholdeplass rett over gata. Vi storkoste oss i 6 dager 👍

Понравился персонал отеля- всегда готовы помочь, некоторые говорят по- русски. Номера комфортные, есть чайник и все для чая. Широкая кровать с цельным двуспальным матрацем. Постель слишком мягкая для меня, но спать удобно. Супругу показалось коротковатым одеяло. Хорошие завтраки, за дополнительную плату можно заказать ужин - шведский стол в который включены напитки , кроме алкогольных. В спа есть сауна, но она в каждой раздевалке, 3 бассейна- холодный -28^, два бассейна с термальной водой- 36 и 38^ и джакузи. Неудобство- плохая звукоизоляция, шумный лифт. Правда ночью никто не шумел и не катался на лифте, и было тихо.
