Good: Great location for exploring Budapest. Clean rooms with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Friendly staff who went out of their way to assist. Couldn't fault our stay in any way. Bad: Not a complaint, just an observation. Too many " managers" in the restaurant, who didn't assist the other staff.

The property is in a quiet street but very central to the sites. The breakfast is very good value for money. The reception staff are very helpful and polite. The room is clean. Would have liked a kettle in room to make hot drinks.

Good: We needed a hotel for one night and Erzsebet had everything we needed: center location and good price. The room was on the smaller side but since we arrived at 7 pm and left the next day, it was sufficient. The bathroom was large, nice tiles and marble sink, We met only the receptionists, both were pleasant and check in/check out was done in less than 5 min. Bad: The shower was unusual, it was a step up from the floor. The shower door was a little bit small but it was not an issue for us. Above certain weight, it might be an issue.

Good: Comfortable room and beds. The breakfast was great - good variety and plentiful supply. Bad: You could hear noise from the street which woke me a number of times. The rubbish collection at 6.45am was particularly loud.

Good: Perfect location, nice room, friendly staff Bad: There is NO parking -misleading ad as part of the hotel description. If you don't have a parking lot, you are NOT supposed to say you do. However, the hotel is located very near to a PUBLIC parking (21 EUR per 24h), so we could actually park there.

Good: Great location, easy access to public transportation, including subway and airport bus. Many bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Very clean room, comfortable bed, good wifi in the room, pretty quiet at the time of our stay. Will definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to Budapest.

Good: Location was brilliant. Short walk to main highlights. Breakfast had a great choice and variety. Beds comfy, and fridge in room. Easy to get to from airport, just an easy bus ride and only 30p HUF each. Lidl just round the corner. Bad: Toilet smelt like it needed a bit of bleach but wasnt too bad. 1 negative was the room wasnt cleaned or towels changed in the 3 nights we were there.

Good: Best location in Budapest. Close to Vaci street, and Erzebet Bridge. Parking is in the next street and is safe for the car. Bad: Rooms is litlle and the Hotel is old

Good: We had a room on the top floor with a nice view of the rooftops. The room was much more spacious than I expected, had a desk to write, and a kettle, tea bags & instant(?) coffee. I wasn't expecting too much when booking but we loved the location and had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helped us book performance tickets and a taxi to the train station at the end of our stay. There's a very good restaurant in the terrace of a literary museum 3 minutes walking from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to others and would return here again if I am in Budapest. Bad: Even though it was October the room got rather warm during the night and a little stuffy during the day. Unfortunately no A/C only heat turned on since it is already autumn. Thankfully we could open the window to air out the room.

Good: Nice and elegant old hotel in the center of Budapest. Everything is near! Super delicious breakfast, they offer English brekafast + warm croissants and selection of fruits with yogurt! We had 3 people room what was actually like suite, with 2 rooms, also two toilet rooms, fridge and all you might need :) Double bed was king size with many soft pillows! We loved our stay in Erzebet hotel :) Bad: nothing

Good: We only had the buffet breakfast one morning and it was fine, a good selection of cereal, hot food, cold meats, cheese and yogurts. The location of the hotel is excellent, plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Staff were very pleasant. Good to have fridge in room for chilling water. Bad: The one thing I would have liked was a kettle in the room. The english TV channels consisted of a choice of BBC World News or MTV.

Property was in an amazing location filled with outdoor cafes and safe, friendly people. Very close to mass transit, so need need to taxi. Rooms are dated, but as long as you know that going in, it is fine! Staff is extremely friendly and informative!

I like the freedom to come and go as I please. The staff are friendly and helpful. Once they know your face they don't bother you unless you need their help.

Good: Staff were excellent and the restaurant was amazing. Taxis were very easy to book as the guy at reception was excellent every morning and did it for us. Although the room was basic it was very clean, comfortable and air con worked very well. Location was great as soon as you walk outside there is a strip of restaurants and you are right near lots of shops and more restaurants. I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant in the hotel - one of the best burgers I have ever had and the steaks were amazing. Bad: Rooms were basic but very comfortable and air con worked well.

Excelent hotel we found a lot of things to do around here

Good: Breakfast was more than adequate and staff friendly and helpful . I arrived early hoping to drop my luggage before returning later , but was given my room immediately ,This enabled me to have breakfast and a shower and rest after an overnight train journey. Bad: Room didn't have much storage space for clothes (only hanging space) and I would have preferred a safe deposit in the room rather than at reception

The Erzsébet was in an excellent location. Rooms were a bit dated but for the price was very good. I would stay here again

Good: Very spacious, clean and staff very accommodating, we arrived earlier than check in time and they worked hard to get our room ready early. Bad: If I had to say something it would be the that the shower was a slower flow than I like but really not something I’d complain about.

The hotel is within reasonable walking distance from many of the popular attractions, and is close to transport links for travel around the city. The breakfast buffet is very good with a range of the usual items, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful, and assisted me willingly when my shuttle bus did not show up on the morning of my departure ( I booked the shared shuttle as part of my Expedia package and was let down by the P-Airbus company, who I certainly do not recommend). This was my second stay at the hotel, and I will be recommending it to friends and hope to revisit it for another holiday in due course.
