Good: Beautiful place especially the receptionist Ceilte so helpful

Good: Renovated, very clean, beautifully decorated, excellent! Bad: Maybe a small fridge at the room for cool water and a small bar at the reception hall for a cup of coffee or drink.

Top spot! Close to everything. Definitely coming back to this hotel on my next stay in Budapest. Only thing is that the rooms are not that isolated for noise, can hear things like showering from rooms next to, and talking in the hall, and the doors make a lot of noise.

Good enough hotel, tidy rooms, not the most quiet ones - street side rooms really take on the noise from outside. The breakfast was moderate, but good. The toilet in our room was uncomfortable to sit on, dunno if by design, but it had a forward tilt.

Bag Storage between check out and travel. Bad: Not an issue but worth noting, no bar, but lovely lounge. Just for info No fridge. But not an issue

Good: Great location, easy to walk to many land marks in the city from here. Also the airport bus stop was close by and there were some great restaurants nearby too. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms.

Good: Location was perfect. The Breakfast buffet had several excellent choices. Allowed me to check in couple hours before check in time.

Good: Close to the centre and lots of restaurants, good transport connection Bad: Could do with better pillows. Having said that, rooms are ok. I only went back to the hotel to nap and sleep. It’s probably just my thing, but pillows are essential to a good night’s sleep. They were too soft.

Good: We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is very central, most of the attractions are within walking distance. TWe didn't pay for breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Bad: The only thing that I can think of is that there was no fridge in the room. We didn't need it as we stayed only for 3 nights, but if you're staying for longer it could be useful.

Good: Location is perfectly situated only 2 minutes from the bars & restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Though I did not have any breakfast the room was kept spotless and clean. Would definitely recommend either for solo travellers, like myself, or couples. Bad: N/A

Good: The location of the hotel and efficient front desk staff. The hotel is surrounded by a number of restaurants and is close to the shopping area. Bad: There was not anything I did not like.

Good: The hotel is very beautifully designed and the location is amazing. The stuff is kind and very attentive when it comes to problem solving. Breakfast has a lot to offer. Bad: We checked-in at night and were too tired to check the smell in the room properly, so in the morning I had headache and problem sleeping because the conditioning system was giving out harsh smoke smell. Thankfully the staff was really kind and changed the room immediately, we spent the rest of our time in a nice fresh room. Also keep in mind rooms are quite small.

Good: Lovely stay at Danubius Hotel City Center. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location made exploring the city easy. I would happily return.

Good: The location is perfect, right in the city center. The metro stations are within a 10-minute walk. Getting to the hotel from the airport is very convenient by the Airport Express 100E bus to Astoria metro station. On the way back to the airport, you can take the bus from Kálvin tér station. The Danube River is just a 10-minute walk away, and St. Stephen’s Basilica can be reached in about 15 minutes. The popular Váci shopping street is within walking distance, and there are also many cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was equipped with a large-screen TV with many channels, a safe, and a kettle. Everything was very clean, and housekeeping was provided daily. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor next to the reception area. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, pastries, and fruits. The coffee was very good, especially the Italian coffee. After check-out, guests can leave their luggage near the reception. Bad: The bathroom was a little small in size, and the bathtub was quite high, making it difficult for elderly guests to step in and out. A walk-in shower would have been a better option. It would also be useful to have coat hooks in the entrance area for jackets, coats, and umbrellas.

The only needs smal fridge

Good: Really comfortable room, there's good wifi and air conditioning, it was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was really tasty and varied. The location is very good, in an area full of shops, bars, and restaurants, but they all close around midnight, and the street gets quiet. The hotel has no parking, but there is a public parking 2min away. The entire area felt very safe. Bad: From time to time, there was a stale smell in the bathroom.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy nearby attractions. The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was also good, with a nice selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

I have been visiting the hotel for about 10 years. until the renovation and the low forint, the hotel was acceptable. now with the payment of parking 100m away, this hotel is not ideal for sleeping. further north there are excellent hotels that also have their own parking lot. the rooms are too modest, they don't even have a fridge,

Location was very good, 20 ish minute walk from most tourist attractions except the thermal spa. Located close by to lots of local shops and metro station/bus stops. Took the bus 100E from the airport to the hotel. Rooms were good but a little on the cramped size for a twin bed room. Bathroom was good but also on the smaller side. Breakfast was reasonably priced with good options. More hot options would have been nicer, but overall was a good stay.

Good: Very nicely refurbished hotel - the location could not be any more central, and the price-value ratio is amazing. And it was surprisingly quiet, I could sleep very well. Bad: The only thing they should focus on is to better check the cleaning staff - when I arrived the shower gel was not refilled and the rubbish bin was not emptied after the first night. These are however minor issues that can easily be fixed with proper training and controls - overall the hotel is a nice place to stay in central Budapest.

The hotel is located in the best part of Budapest 3 minutes from everything you just cross the street for 70 restaurants trains station shops everything staff super nice and helpful clean decent sized room hotels would definitely come again

Good: The buffet breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful. We loved the location with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants and with lots of interesting sites in the area. Not far from the river and "The Shoes on the Danube". All walkable. Bad: No complaints!

I slept like a baby, thanks to the really comfortable bed. 😊 The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The location wasn't important for me, but it's in the city center, so you can get everywhere in short time.

Good: The facility is nice and very new and I liked the stile and the design. Bad: The room was nut made despite the sign to fix the room and the towels has not been replaced . The tea was not renewed an I needed to ask twice for it.

If you have medicine that you need to chill, they offer that you can bring it to the front desk however that is not something we wanted to do. And we couldn't get ice either (from the hotel). Good: We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is newly renovated, stylish, and very comfortable. The location couldn't be better-| right in the heart of the city, with everything within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was a lovely surpris- fresh, varied, and with plenty of options every morning. Good: The room was of fair size and comfortable. The AC was good. The location is in the middle of an area full of restaurants with the central market and shopping street Vaci utca in walking distance. The trams and metros are also in close proximity.

Good: Decor, position, breakfast Bad: Our room was only partially serviced on our last day. The shower gel was virtually empty from Day 1 and when we removed the pump to make it obvious that attention was needed, it was still missed and we had to call housekeeping. Some of the reception staff were aloof. We felt our queries were an imposition for them. Others were very helpful.

Good: Loved staying in this hotel. In a quiet side street but just minutes away from shops, restaurants and the Danube. We were on floor 6 opposite the lift and I worried it might be noisy. But it was very quiet and we slept really well. The hotel has recently been refurbished - our bathroom was so clean and new it felt like we might have been the first ones to use it. Bad: The weather was exceptionally hot and the AC struggled a couple of times - not a major problem.

New renovation and very quiet room if window face to backyard. Room is quite small, even a bit difficult to open one 26” suitcase . Breakfast is quite good choice but everyday the same. Good location but still a bit far to walk to St. Stephen’s church and Parliament, but also not worth to take bus or metro, take time to go between station and target location, then only 2-3 stations, not really saving time. Stay 4 nights, the cleaning lady didn’t vacuum clean floor everyday, still much hair on floor. Also, not refill coffee and tea, and only one bottle of water for the whole stay.

Good: This hotel was in the city downtown area with an easy access to subway, museums, many wonderful restaurants, etc. I loved the breakfast that was included and the staff were friendly. Bad: You can't adjust the temperature in the room, and it was a bit too warm. Yet, I was able to open the window a little bit, especially at night, as it was too warm for me to sleep. So I was okay for 3 nights.

Good: When I was searching for a hotel online, I thought that a downtown (great) location at a reasonable price meant that the place was going to be old and and out of date. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance and actual hotel. It was really nice. And in a great location. Bad: The thermostat in my room was password protected so I could not change it. When I checked out at the front desk the receptionist seemed genuinely surprised by that (as if it's not normal). So maybe that's a one-off thing and indicative of the hotel in general.

On the small side but for a short stay it doesnt need to be any bigger. bathroom was well designed. very fresh and clean. it had a kettle. breakfast had a good variety. They let us store our bags after check out. location was good, plenty of restaurants nearby Bad: the TV had the ability to mirror from your phone, we connected ok but the wi fi wasn't strong enough play you tube videos without buffering. my husband went down to reception twice but they didnt seem to understand the issue. They just thought we couldnt connect to the wifi but we could. It was stronger when he was stood in reception. I think the signal needs boosting to the farthest rooms. We were on floor 8 at the very end of the corridor. A kettle was provided but no milk cartons and only 2 coffee sachets. we took our own teabags but needed a bit of milk. On the second day reception did get us some of the little milk pods. Hot breakfast was a bit cold so i opted for muesli on day 2.

Good: The location is a huge plus! The hotel is almost in the city center, and most of Budapest’s main attractions are within walking distance, which made our trip even more enjoyable and convenient. The rooms were clean and cozy, the atmosphere was great, and overall we were more than satisfied with everything. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Budapest!

Good: Better location is hard to find! Just 1,5 blocks from the Metro- keep going strait a few meters and you will be in the middle of the main shopping street. Turn left and you’ll have the Elisabeth bridge in front. Cross the bridge and walk right- straight to Buda Castle - or straight up the hill to Citadella .

Good: Very good location, a quite good breakfast, and clean. Close to a university campus, so there are many reasonably priced cafes and pubs nearby, as well as high-end restaurants. Bad: Nothing.
