It's a Cool Ambience.

Good: 1. The staff were nice and helpful in many ways. 2. The facility is really nice 3. The location close to many facilities as well 4. Breakfast good as well! Bad: Didn't realize anything unusual

Good: Location - very well placed near teh railway station for when we arrived and left Budapest, and near a main metro station for exploring the city. It was also only a short walk from teh football ground where the rock concert we had booked was taking place. Staff. Very welcoming even in spite of our arriving after midnight due to significant delays ('Verspaetung') on Austrian and German trains. Bad: Surrounding streets were sleazy at night but not particularly threatening. Walking back to the hotel at midnight was interesting.

Good: The breakfast was amazing, a lot of choice, everyone will find something for themselves. Close to the bus stop and metro to all of the attractions. Staff was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Good: Perfect 'old-fashioned' hotel in which everything worked as it should, everything was designed for comfort rather than style and breakfast was excellent. Bad: Decor of public areas was old-fashioned but I'd rather that than smart decor and sub-standard facilities

Good: Hotel is very accessible to public transportation including metro and train station and buses. Staffs was very nice.

Bad: The Eggs that were in the water, cleaned, and had hlorca gist, in my opinion should not be cleaned and kept in the water.

Was problems with shower function, old. ROM was in general good, everything was good. But small details like a showehead, can be little annoying on a short break.

Good: Excellent breakfast, all fresh and delicious. Comfy beds.

Good: 2min walk from the train station, convenient location. Check in was very smooth even though the lobby was full with guests. Receptionists and all employees are very nice and attentive. Bad: Pillows are a bit hard.

Parking close at 10pm , at least till midnight have to be open as like this cannot make a late evening activities or have to park on the street while still pay for parking

Very great place! The staff was so helpful! Especially Nándor at the reception was very nice and helped us through some trouble we had at another hotel. The room was big and fully equipped with everything necessary and the breakfast was even better! Also, they have great goulash soup at the hotel restaurant. Furthermore they offer laundry service. This was so great for us, and the stay was within a very good price range. Would definitely go again!

Good: Breakfast excellent. The room was nice and clean. Bad: Unfortunately, the cover mattress topper was too small for the bed, and because I am a torn and toss sleeper the topper was sliding every night, which was quite uncomfortable.

Good: Location is good, close to the train station Keleti. We used this train sation to go to Györ and Eger. You can also reach to the city center by using metro Keleti, very close to Danubius Hotel. The room is clean and enough big. Personel is very helpful. The price for this hotel 4 stars is convenient. If I return next time to Budapest, I can choose again this hotel.

Good: Hotel's location it was really convinient, at least for us that we like walking. It is close to the Heroe's square and Adrasy street and about 2 km from Danube river, St. Stephan Basilika. Bad: It may need some kind of ferniture renovation.

Good: the hotel was good for the price paid , breakfast was good , very close to metro and easy access. many options for food joints at walking distance. Bad: its a old property however I will book it again if get same price everything else was very good

Good: - I had a nice and bright room on the 4th floor, with great views over the plaza and Keleti railway station; - breakfast was excellent, I couldn't stop stuffing my face; - location s simply unbeatable; - Great and very friendly people in reception, always trying to do an extra effort to make you feel comfortable; - souvenir shop inside is a nice touch, if you ran off time and didn't buy some small goodies to bring back hime; - Spar and Lidl are nearby, if someone needs to have snacks in the room all the day round; - stable and good WiFi connection all over the Hotel; - luggage room available, so you are able to leave your luggage while expecting to check in, and it is safely stored and guarded by Hotel personnel. - toiletries like soap, gel and shampoos, as well as sewing kit, shower caps and cleaner for shoes were very useful. Great and comfortable stay and very pleasant experience about Danubius Hungary City Center Hotel. 👏👍👌

Good: Staff is really great, helpful and more then willing to help with needed information. Room was perfect, large enought for 2 adults and a child. Perfectly clean. Breakfast offer is worth extra money - very rich and with a lot of options for everyone. Food is delicious. Location is perfect. Bad: We had a small problem only with one thing: rooms are warm. Hotel have air condition from the begining of the May. Window opened during the night would have solved that issue, but we were on the sixth floor so we could not keep the window open during the night because of a small child. Hotel offered us a new room on the 2nd floor right away, but we figured out that it was still to high to risk to have the window open during over night. But anyhow - the gesture and offer is appreciated. It is definitely not something that would keep us away from the hotel in the future.

Good: Location to Keleti train station, hop-on bus stop just out the door, great breakfast, was great value for money. Bad: Nothing worry of complaint.

It’s a big hotel close to the keleti train station. It has a bus stop right in front of the hotel which is pretty convenient.

Good: This hotel was beautiful!!! Everything was great. The staff at the front desk were very helpful to assist with area attractions & restaurants & transportation options. Their bellman will call a taxi & they come immediately. Great Service, Very nice accommodations. The room was huge. They did offer a breakfast for an additonal cost but we did not use it. Bad: n/a

Good: The receptionist was a bit surprised that we were a male couple who wanted a double bed, but he had no problem with that. 😁 The room was fine, quiet (none of the noise from the street). Everything was clean and smell good. Amazing breakfast and nice stuff. Also there are 6 elevators in hotel.

Good: Superb hotel with nice decoration and is close to the city center. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which connects to the airport, and a metro stop in very close proximity to the hotel. The hotel is also close to Keleti Station with a train connection to Vienna and other EU cities. The room was enormous and clean, bathroom was big and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and with very good choices to start the day. Highly recommend this hotel for Budapest city breaks, especially for family travelers. Thank you for a pleasant stay! Good: Very nice location of the hotel, close to one of the train stations, bus stop is right by the exit of the hotel, so it is extremely easy to reach the touristy spots. A short walk to a decently sized mall, if you are into shopping.

Good: From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the friendly staff at the reception desk. They were helpful in answering any questions I had and even provided me with some great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.

Good: Room was good enough to stay and the location is best to go around the city where you can access any part of the city from here with the Metro, Bus, Train, etc.. Staff were friendly and they helped us to use the locker room during the checkout day. you have a taxi service which is a bit costly as well. They have 4 lifts which is quick to get into any floor and we stayed in 7th floor. They have also provided the extra bed for us without any request. Bad: Bathroom looks bit old and not renovated anytime recently. Bathtub with shower curtain doesnt stops water flowing outside and wetting the floor. there was a mention on the table for complimentary cakes/sweets which we have not received anything.

Good: The hotel has a good location - near the train station, metro and tram. Big mall is also very close. The room was very comfortable, big, with all you expect to find in 4* hotel. Hairdryer, facilities to make tea/coffee, fridge, bath, big bed with comfortable mattress, every day cleaning. Wi-fi connection was good in the room.

Good: The hotel is close to the city center of Budapest and really close to all public transport. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was the best part of the day, it had a big variety of choices and all of them was tasteful. The room was clean and comfortable. I totally recommend it

Good: It is excellent 4*. Friendly and helpful staff speaks English perfectly. Check in and check out in 2 minutes. No problem with payment. All is clear. The rooms and the entire hotel are very clean. Excellent location in easy reach of central areas. Great breakfast (food never runs out and there are no queues. Everything was varied, delicious and fresh). The restaurant staff are very fast and friendly. Room was very spacious (separate bedroom area, there were two toilets in the room), comfortable and clean. There is a safe, a kettle with tea set. The plumbing is old but works great. In my opinion the hotel is very well looked after. Very comfortable beds, pillows and snow-white bed linen. WI-FI work very well. Everything corresponded to the photos on the Booking. Convenient underground parking (14 euros per day) in the same building. Great option - you could cancel your booking before the day of arrival. Bad: We returned from the theater around midnight. There was no security at the entrance, and drunken people were running along the corridor. Then at 3 am they were screaming and banging on doors. The hotel needs to tighten its control over order and security.

Good: Stunning hotel, very central (close to airport by taxi) and the room was very clean. Gorgeous view from the room. Perfect for one night stay but would definitely stay longer next time. Friendly and helpful staff. Bed was very comfortable. Bad: Not a fan of the shower being a part of the bath but that's a personal preference. Bathroom floor got quite wet after using the shower. Not very helpful when trying to get transport to the airport - shuttle bus was advertised on hotel website but wasn't able to book it at reception desk.
