Bad: The beds were slightly hard

Good: Really amazing hotel in city centre. Breakfast was the best, even more rich then most 4 stars hotels. I definitely recommend staying here. Bad: -

Super

Good: The hotel is situated in the city centre it is very close to all the amenities bus and train stations very close 5 minute walk the town centre is absolutely stunning what a fantastic hotel to stay in very friendly staff very helpful if I ever come back to gyor I will stay in the hotel raba

Good: Ok Bad: Aproape ol

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed. View, location, staff, facilities, comfort and the style are excellent. Variety of foods with nice selections can accommodate any difficult person.

Is sauber

Good: Staff very friendly, the receptionist speaks English, German. Clean room, good shower. Very good breakfast for this type of hotel, with hot and cold food, cereals, cocoa and milk, dosing machine for Rauch juice and 2 coffee machines, different vegetables and fruits. In general, the hotel was above my expectations at the price as last minute deal. Bad: Quite a few minor things to write here: TV had not enough channels (aprox. 20-25), no view from the window, being blocked by a building.

Good: Great location Friendly staff Perfect to stay with kids Good breakfast

Bad: smell of tobacco in the room

Good: Good location, nice personnel, good breakfast Bad: The hotel is relatively old and the rooms could use a refurbishment

The location is ideal, just at the start of the old town. Very diverse and delicious breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable.

Good: - Hotel was nice and staff too, we felt welcome. Check in was fast and they also promised to change if needed to pay the parking. They also explained parking is free till monday morning and we can pay it beforehand so we can sleep late. - ATM´s are close the hotel (but 2 of 3 didnt work then) - Cards are accepted - Room was clean and nice though we got twinroom instead doubleroom (sold out but we wanted to book a room here cos great price and location plus parking). - Beds were comfortable - Working AC - Bathroom with good shower and working toilet - Location was perfect for us to explore the City. Old Town is few steps away, there are a lot to see, gorgeous buildings, cafes /restaurants to eat/chill at, coloured bridge on night etc. If you are looking for a nice stay in Györ, esp. roadtrippers this is a good place for you. Bad: Parking. There were limited spots, luckily we saw someone leaving and got their parking place. If would have been there more than one nights and wanted to go by car, getting a place could have been difficult. Cos it was weekend parking was free till 8-9 Monday morning. We paid those few hours the night before and so we were able to sleep longer. Notice that the parking place is not only for hotel guests, it is pretty much public parking place, but right next to the hotel.

A very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Superb well stocked bar. Highly recommended.

Very nice city....really wow! We just made a transit stop for 1 night...and visited the town at night, and was quite surprising what beautiful and how very animated the streets were. Wish we stayed more 😂 Definitely will visit in the future a couple of days!

Good: The location is perfect, the staff were kind and helpful. Bad: The towels were not enough clean.

Good: Cool location

Nice place)

Fantastic. VERY GOOD.

Good: Perfect location with walking distance to old town, nice staff with minor language problems. Very good breakfast. We had family suite on 6th floor with plenty of space and nice views over city. Bad: It is not brand new Marriott to expect, also you need to be early to find free parking place - hotel has just 4, but in same area outside there is maybe 20 places for public paid parking.

Have big rooms, even are with 3 beds. Is very clean and the personal is super.

Nice Hotel near Down town with a good restaurant.

Good: Wsio ok😁

Everything was fine including the staff members whom are perfect and professional. Restaurant has the rudest staff members (young man and manager woman) on this planet. They are trying to overcharge you with bringing out to the same person both full fat coffee creamer and LACTOSE FREE milk (which we asked for instead of creamer or any other cows milk as they have no vegetable milk drink at all so people with special needs or allergies will have enormous trouble) and also they speak you out when you ask what kind of water they are using in their hot beverages if it is at least purified (considering of the brown water coming out of all the taps in the hotel) but they are using TAP WATER.

I had a top floor single room. The room had a balcony which was a nice surprise. The decor was a little tired but clean and comfortable. An excellent position for the centre, train station and the nearby spa

Right in the middle of town. The parking garage around the corner is cheap, so better there than getting up early to pay parking outside. Lovely town with hearty food in a boat restaurant on the river. Good, comfortable, clean room

Good: Everything and especially the dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. Good food for a decent price.

Good: Her şey

Good: Lovely traditional hotel with very attentive staff. Lovely room. Bad: Nothing

Good: huge room, nice locatioon

Good: Location in city center on pedestrian street Bad: The noise made by a children group..but after one call, everything was ok

Good: The place was amazing and the staff was great

Good: Location near train station as it was short walk. Bad: Thought mattress was a bit soft. Location Tip: We were there for the Christmas markets and hotel was near all of them. We stayed there two nights and was very happy with the room, breakfast, and price of the stay. The hotel is near the train station and in town center so can walk to sights of the town. We were pleasantly surprised with quality of the hotel.

Good: Very near from the train station and city center! Gentle staffs and clean & wide room. Especially fantastic variety of breakfast!!

Spacious room, great location, nice food even from 'pension' menu

Good: Family suite is big and comfortable, good quality for price. Very nice pub and restaurant with Belgian draft beers.

Very good!

Good: L emplacement

Bad: No spa and fitness in the hotel

Good: The location was excellent The service The restuarant

Good: Best breakfast we had on trip so far.

Good: excellent location, large clean air con rooms, we dined out in the city centre and this hotel is really local to that. Bad: nothing except the towns electronic chiming town hall clock :-)

Good: Our room was fantastic...very large with sitting room. It was a corner room in the older section. We requested a standard room. They might have updated us. Bad: Nothing.

Good: Excellent dining!

Good: Excellent value, super staff, the location is central and within easy walking distance of restaurants, stores, local sites and transportation. Bad: The hotel is older, defintely has more dated look than some newer spots. It's always clean and neat regardless. Location Tip: Located right at the pedestrian/walking center of Gyor. Nearby restauratnts and shopping as wel as the thermal baths/pools, 1km to main mall We stay every year at the Raba hotel when visiting Gyor and have since 2008. The hotel is located right off a main road, and just a short walk (5 mins) from the train and bus stations. We book our room online and each year are greeted by smiling friendly staff. My husband speaks only English and they address him in English. They also speak fluent German and of course, Hungarian. Since we go in summer, and it is often quite hot, we always ask for a room with air conditioning. We are always accomodated, even when I also ask for a fan to be brought to the room too. Now you can book rooms with A/C online, which wasn't always the case. The breakfast ( which can be added during booking ) to the room, includes hot an cold food, plus the usual breads, pastries, jams, cereals and other things you'd expect to have. It's worth booking with room, and it's pretty hearty and open from 6am-10am each day. We always have a lovely time, the staff are helpful and kind, the location can't be beat, and the price is very reasonable. Free wifi throughout the hotel, in rooms and lobby.

Good: The hotel has a good location on the edge of the shopping area, easily found if arriving by bus or train. They carry an excellent selection of beverages and serve good food, an added bonus of rooms with air-con to ease those hot Hungarian summer days. Bad: The city commute starts early in the morning and can catch you out after a late night before, ear plugs might help the light sleeper.

Good: The hotel is located downtown, 2 minutes slow walk from the Railway Station and 5 minutes walk from the historical centre of the city. The room was comfortable and supplied with all what one could ask for, including air conditioning system. Staff provided city map. Comfortable double bed and good view from windows. Bad: I wish the hotel was a little bit more historical in terms of interiors. Supply of toiletries could be better.

Good: The room was very nice. Also the bathroom with a bathroom.

Beautiful view and best location in Budapest

Good: The staff were very friendly and professional. They knew the areas and always were helpful. The Bar/Restaurant was wonderful

Good: Breakfast & staff awesome. Front desk staff very helpful. All in all location is the best.

Good: staff, clean, city center, every thing Bad: nothing

Good: Location perfect & staff very helpful. Bad: No comment.

Good: The location is very central to all the sights in Gyor. While there is parking, a car isn't necessary to get around the city. The railway station is very cinventient.

Bad: Parkolás

Good: It has a great location, close to the city center as well as in a walking distance from the thermal pools. I also liked breakfast.

Good: Alles !!!

Good: Clean and tidy. Only five mins walk from Gyor railway station with a Belgian bar attached. The wifi worked well. I always use this hotel when in Gyor

+very welcoming staff, 24/7 desk +excellent breakfast, espresso machine, tasty Hungarian foods +best location for train travellers +nice view over the old town (4th floor)

We can't say enough about the hotel. We stayed 9 nights and were there for a family celebration. It is conveniently located, close to all shops and restaurants. Hotel staff was very accommodating. It is an older hotel, quiet if you are on the back side which we were. We would stay there again.

Good: Location - centre of town 2 mins from train station Money Exchange in hotel reception very good rates

Good: Room was large and updated. I had a very modern room by European standards. Two single beds, 1.5 baths with modern fixtures and good water pressure. Two small TVs (one in bedroom and one in sitting area). The TVs were 1970s vintage at best.

Good: The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main shopping street. The staff were very helpful and polite and our room very comfortable. Breakfast was substantial. Overall the hotel was excellent value for money. Bad: Our room was on the 3rd floor and the wifi was almost non existant .

Great hotel. Nice room. Mini-bar in the apt

Near train and bus station, easy walk to city center, and restaurants. Room was ready well in advance if check in. Definitely have to ask for room with A/C, you don't necessarily get one otherwise.

Good: Alles ok Bad: Keine Kritik

Everything was satisfactory except the lack of free Wi-Fii in the room (€12 per night)

Good: Good breakfast, perfect location, nice service. Everything you can ask for. I was pleased.

Good: Ein schönes Hotel in super Lage.

- it is in the city center - close to the Spa - breakfast included and it was very rich swedish buffet - the room was clean and cleaned daily - there was a secured underground parking lot

Good: everything !!! good price great value friendly and helpful staff very clean good food nostalgic historic fantastic location

Good: Proximity to railway, city center, parking garage arrangement/fees, Bad: Free wireless internet in lobby only.

Can't beat location. Staff went above and beyond in all regards for help.

Bad: The flow of hot water was not sufficent in the bathroom sink. The toilet gives off an unpleasant odor because it was moving...Room 229 in Raba Hotel

Excellent service provided. Family room was spacious and comfortable. Terrific location.

Excellent service provided. Family room was spacious and comfortable. Terrific location.

9 night stay. Free breakfast was excellent. Business or computer room is quiet and well equipped. The reception desk is outstanding as all speak english. They went over and above the call to be of assistance. Restuarant and bar is good but not the best.

Good: The hotel is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The reception and bar staff are multi-linguistic and very helpful. Breakfast and the meals served in the bar/restaurant are of a high standard and certainly recommended. Stepping out of the reception leads straight into the main shopping street, a pedestrian area of the baroque city centre. 300 yards away is the train station, where regional, national and international trains can be caught.

Good: No aircondition! Crazy, if it is 36° C outside!

Good: placed to the center, nice staff, clean Bad: noise ef cars, motocycles and tourists on the road, especially in weekend.

Good: Klassiker & genuinely friendly Bad: nichts

Good: Nagy szoba, tisztaság, nagyon finom reggeli. Bad: Fürdőszoba kicsit régi a szobához képest

Good: Nagyon jo elhelyezkedes,àr- érték aràny!

Danubius Hotel Rába

It is wonderful to know you enjoyed the nearby thermal bath facilities as well. We would be delighted to welcome you again for another memorable stay.

Bad: Utcai forgalomi zaj

Good: Puha ágy Bad: Kicsi volt a hűtő

Good: micul de jun a fost foate bun

Good: A környezet szép, jó fekvésű szállás, bőséges, sokrétű választékú reggeli. A garázs ügyes megoldású, biztonságos.

Good: Locatie Bad: Parkeren

Good: Vriendelijk personeel, en goed verblijf
