Good: The breakfast buffet had nice choices. The room was clean and comfortable. However, Bad: When I booked the room well in advance of my stay, I requested to be put in a room where we were far from the train so we didn't hear it. They put us on the second floor and my brother and his wife on the 8th floor. They said our rooms were different which isxwhy they put us on the 2nd floor. They were not. The first night, I heard a rumble. It turned out it was the train! Fortunately i had taken ear plugs and the train didn't run all night long. They do start up in the early morning. It felt very intentional since my brother's room was nice and quiet. My recommendation would be to not make special requests till you get there!!

Great location. Plenty of nearby transport links and a nice walk down the canal to get to camden. Parking was useful for us and for the price we paid the service, facilities and breakfast was all of a very good standard. We would definitely return.

Good: Very friendly and professional staff.

Good: The hotel is really nice and clean. Feels luxurious. Great value for money considering I paid less for the room than some London budget hotels were charging. Air con in rooms, duck feather pillows, great shower, very clean. Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. Nespresso machine with pods, tea and coffee and water in the mini fridge. Staff very friendly on check in and there is a free luggage store. Bad: It is quite a trek from the two nearest tube stations. 15m each way, which is ok if you don't have to do it multiple times, but we had to due to no early check in. On enquiring they said it may be possible on the day, but they could only guarantee it if I booked the room for the night before too! This would have meant paying £200 just to be able to check in 2 hours early! I later received an email from them via booking.com saying I could upgrade to have an early check in and/or late check out for £30. I selected early check in and it said that it was waiting for the hotel to confirm, which didn't happen. When I emailed again I got the same response about needing to book the room the night before again. Not sure why the email was even sent. Their saving grace was the luggage store and the concierge was lovely. I did manage to check in an hour early in the end with no extra charge though. No issues otherwise.

Good: Fantastic location - we were going to Lords so I genuinely can’t see how the location could be any better. Excellent breakfast, both from a service point of view and how it was cooked and the number of options available.

Good: Comfortable, clean room, breakfast good. Proximity to upscale St Johns Wood High Street for a variety of restaurants, shopping and people watching. Locals rather than tourists. Convenient busses to Baker St Tube station..gets you everywhere. Bad: No walk in showers. I am a bit unsteady. tubs high, some difficulty getting in and out Outside there are brick steps to get to the road. NONE of the lights work. We have been coming to the Danubius long enough to know there are several lights but you wouldn't know it now. It is dangerous, easy to miss a step especially at dusk and at night. My husband reported this to the concierge on duty Wednesday evening (23rd July) but it was clear he had little interest in taking the matter further.

Good: Beautiful rooms that were very clean and well decorated. You got a robe and slippers and a fridge in the deluxe king. The shower had good pressure. The blackout curtains were great. The breakfast was really nice. The scrambled egg was so tasty, and the freshly made smoothies. There was a lot of choice. The tube was a short walk away. We would definitely stay again if we were to watch cricket at Lords as the location is amazing. Bad: When we checked in, the staff spoke far too quietly, which caused a lot of confusion. I don't understand why they weren't speaking at a normal volume. I'm only 33 and not deaf and everyone in our party said the same thing. Also, our friends got given the room we had just been given and had to get that fixed.

Excellent service, lovely room and comfortable bed. Staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help me celebrate my 50th Birthday. Will stay here again. Highly recommended

Good: We were here to watch 3 days of the Lord's cricket match between India and England and this hotel turned out to be as good as it can get! The memories of waking up, getting ready, having breakfast at the restaurant and then simply crossing the road to join the crowd heading to the game will remain with me forever. We were helped whenever needed by friendly staff, both at the check-in counter and the gentleman at the concierge. There is someone available for help 24x7. The room was big with nice fittings. The Nespresso machine and coffee pods in the room are an excellent touch. The bar had a good vibe on Sunday night and I could catch the Chelsea PSG game on TV, with a few beers and a Pizza. The neighbourhood is one of the best in London for walks, with Regent Park close by as well. The location is well connected by bus and underground.

Good: The location for Lords couldn’t be better. The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. The concierge staff were particularly helpful in accommodating my parking requirements, especially important for a wheelchair user. Our stay was during a test match but despite being very busy the bar service for food and drink was very good. The breakfast offering was good- varied choice and good quality. Bad: The access to the hotel from the pavement is not easy for a wheelchair user as it involves negotiating a steep slope. Our bedroom, a recently refurbished Deluxe King, was very comfortable but not very wheelchair friendly with narrow room entrance and very little room around the bed to manoeuvre.

Friendly staff greeted us. We loved the location next to Regents Park and transportation into the city was close and easy either by bus or Tube. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was outstanding with a huge selection of every imaginable breakfast option. All in all a great place to stay.

Ottima posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione metropolitana di S. John Wood, Regent park e Abbey Road. Personale cortese e sempre disponibile. Colazione abbondante e varia. Prezzo delle camere in linea con il centro città di Londra (circa 200 euro/notte). Stanza non troppo grande ma pulita, dotata di bollitore, the biscotti e acqua. Letti comodi. Suggerimento: curare un po' di più i dettagli perché la nostra camera non sembrava da hotel a 4 stelle.

The hotel is very convenient family wise, they have a friendly and helpful staff, very efficient. It’s also good value for money. The gym is well equipped for a London hotel and particular mention for the sandwiches at the bar, always available and always good.

Really handy for a weekend watching cricket at Lords. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good: Nice Hotel in a quite and cozy neighbourhood. The rooms were reasonably good, everything you need on hand. The service, the bar and the restaurant were really good and price worth. Breakfast was great. Bad: It is not for people who mind a walk. Underground is approx. 10 minutes walk away. We didn‘t mind it but it should be considered.

Good: Very comfortable bathrobes and bed, room temperature was adjustable as you wish. The breakfast was tasty! Bad: The view from the deluxe room was through a small window looking at the cricket ground, therefore the room was a bit dark and small. The toilet brush was missing from our room, I have requested one from the reception and the clerk let me know that the hotel doesn't provide it, but they can send a cleaner anytime.. The shower head was fixed and not movable.

Loved the area and short walk to St John's Wood tube station. Rooms are very quiet. Restaurants are great. Staff went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.

Good: Lovely room, great view, very helpful staff, decent breakfast

Good: The bed was very comfortable and actually kingsized (ie as described!). There was enough soundproofing that there was no traffic noise, although in the morning we did hear the opening and closing of doors in adjacent rooms. Having a true 24 hours parking helped solved the issue of where to have the car the following day (though did benefit Uber!). Bad: I’d ideally like an option to have a room with a shower as opposed to one which has a shower in the bath — for me, given the size and shape of the bathroom, having the toilet facing the sink left a narrower approach to the high sided bathtub to access the shower. The food at breakfast wasn’t up to the standards of the rest of the hotel (especially the eggs!)

Good: The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. An ideal location and the facilities were great. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. Although, next time, I would upgrade to a king-size bed. Bad: I had very noisy neighbours who kept me awake with their loud talking, and they kept banging their door every time they went in and out of their room (which was often). This is not something the hotel has any control over, and therefore, it did not ruin my experience.

Good: Staff very helpful. Comfortable room. Good food. Bad: There was a problem with the TV not working and the air con malfunctioning BUT they were both sorted out very quickly by an efficient maintenance engineer, so not a complaint.

Good: Got in very late, after 9 pm, but the bar had premade sandwiches available, which was very convenient.

Excellent location close to St John’s Wood and Regents Park. The newer renovated rooms are very nice and the windows open for fresh air. Very close to St John’s Wood tube station.

Good: A very professionally run hotel with very good staff. My wife and I booked a Deluxe King Double and it was very good. The downside was the bathroom was too small and the temperature in both the room and hotel throughout was far too hot.

My third stay at this hotel in the past 18 months. It represents very good value for money and is always immaculately clean. The positives are further enhanced as all staff are so professional, friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it without hesitation!

Good: The porridge and poached eggs at breakfast were excellent. It is definitely worth asking for these specials. Bad: All good. No problems!

Good: The staff were excellent. The concierge team and bar staff were particularly good. The bar and restaurant are very comfortable. Bad: We had a minor issue with a leaking shower screen, but it was easily fixed without speaking to the hotel.

Good: The hotel staff were welcoming, attentive, hard working and created a convivial atmosphere for guests and visitors. It was a special occasion and the staff went above and beyond. Good: I loved everything about this beautiful hotel, all the staff was super helpful and very friendly, the rooms where beautiful and so clean, for the price it was amazing, the food was fabulous. Stayed for one night. Close to London Zoo and Lords. Not too far from the tube. Supplied an umbrella when requested. Polite & Helpful staff.

Good: The pleasant, helpful and smiling staff - on reception and in bar and restaurant The bright and palatial reception area The comfortable room The delicious breakfast The location - loved eating breakfast overlooking Lords Cricket Ground and watching all the local comings and goings - even on a wet and grey February morning! The hotel has a 'happy vibe' Bad: We liked everything! We nearly missed the entrance sign when driving in but that's probably our own fault. Parking is quite pricey but it's very efficient and probably fair for Central London
