Good: Lunch was delicious and the kind chef prepared chicken goujons for my son, which wasn't on the menu. Breakfast was delicious, the best scrambled egg I've ever had. The concierge was incredibly helpful. Bad: Front of house at check in took a minute or 2 to "warm up" and initially seemed quite hostile. This was soon rectified with perseverance and plenty of smiles from us during the check in process and by the time we had our room key the member of staff was friendly and welcoming.

Very nice stay, checked us in early which is always a bonus, St. John's Wood tube short walk and high street. Not too pricey either.

Good: The room, although a little small as the bed was enormous, was nicely furnished and in excellent decorative order.The bed was extremely comfy, and the walk in shower was excellent. The breakfast was lovely & very good value. The food in the bar was also excellent. The location was fantastic, we were going to Lords for a 1 day international, & it is situated right next to the ground. Nearest tube station is St John's Wood, about 10-15 minutes walk away. Bad: Couldn't fault it.

Good: The staff were very kind and helpful in spite of being exceptionally busy. We were there to be close to the hospital but it was the same time as a huge cricket match at Lord’s. In spite of the enthusiastic cricket fans, we were treated very well and sympathetically. Thank you! Bad: There were a few little things but in the big scheme of it all, we were very lucky to even have a room. For that I’m very grateful.

Perfect location (visiting lords cricket ground), rooms exceptional looked recently refurbished , staff pleasant and friendly and drinks prices not to bad for a London Hotel. Only 35 min walk back to kings cross on a good and interesting walking route. Really happy with our choice to stay here , would recommend.

Good: The staff were professional, and helpful. The rooms were a good size for the price. The breakfasts there are a must! Unfortunately we didn’t include the breakfast as we weren’t sure of our schedules each morning, but ended up eating there every morning. I accidentally broke a glass and housekeeping were there to clean it up in less than 5 minutes after my husband called it in! Very impressed with that service! Thank you! The bar/lounge was lovely. We had 2 meals there. Again the staff were very professional and courteous. Bad: The only suggestion would be to have the permanently mounted hairdryer in the bathroom instead of where the kettle/tea/mugs/glasses are.

Good: The welcome at reception was lovely. Kids were made very welcome and were given their own teddybears. The room was great for a family, recently renovated, with enough space for everyone. Brilliant shower! Plenty storage and good room facilities, fridge, tea&coffee, bottled water, free wifi. Bar area was nice, plenty of space. Breakfast was epic, lots of choice, from cereals, hot food, pastries, smoothies, fruit etc. Location was good, local area was lovely to walk in, park close by, lots of nice bars/restaurants within easy reach. Underground within easy walk too. Staff very helpful, even arranged early breakfast for us when we had to leave before 7am. Bad: The in-wardrobe lights couldn't be turned off which the kids found a little off putting. There was no lock on the bathroom door, and was a bit of a squeeze. Intrusion of some noise in the room from the railway line close by, best get a high floor.

Good: Great location to get into Central London and to Wembley Arena where we were going Saturday night. Regents Park a short walk away. Bad: Not a great view , over a roof with smoking area and back of peoples houses.

Good: absolutely immaculate, couldn’t fault a thing. Bad: front entrance at first was obscure to find at first, other than that nothing.

Good: Really pleased with the family room. I usually book 2 adjoining rooms when we stay with you but tried the family room this time and it was huge. The hotel looked lovely dressed for Easter and the children loved the chocolate eggs at reception! Excellent service, the staff couldn't be more helpful. Bad: Nothing

Good: We were in London for family wedding (the church was across the road) so perfect location. Breakfast was no fuss and staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was excellent our room was quiet Thank you Bad: Our room 619 …the room key needed to be re validated many times which was irritating but staff were always apologetic.

Really friendly staff, very very comfortable bed. Great night sleep. So close to the park, which is very beautiful

Good: Breakfast was great, but spoilt a little by the over zealous restaurant manager who challenged that we had not paid for children? We took advantage of the £12.50 per adult breakfast voucher when checking in, and were advised there was no charge for the children as they were only young (age 7 & 5). The restaurant manager queried this and said they should have really been paid for but he would allow it on this occasion! It left me feeling quite uncomfortable, and was a very unnecessary action from him. However this did not spoil our stay, but I imagine he quite enjoyed the ‘power’ !! Bad: See above, for restaurant manager comment.

Friendly staff, clean, nice breakfast & fantastic location. I’ve been back 5+ times and consistent and as expected

Good: Staff was friendly and helpful, room was spacious (family of 4 could sleep in the same room) and clean, we were also happy with the restaurant and in the end used hotel for both breakfast and dinner. Overall, great stay and I am happy to recommend hotel for people travelling with family. Bad: Nothing comes to my mind
