Good: The food was lovely (good breakfast buffet and the bar menu was fantastic - I recommend the Club Sandwich)! Staff are very friendly and always willing to help you in anyway that will make your stay more comfortable! The hotel is really well located, right beside the Danube River with a view of Margaret Island. The streets around the hotel are quiet, clean and tree-lined, so the 10 minute walk into the busy area of the city is really pleasant. There is also a grocery store right across the street! The room was fabulous - balcony had an amazing view, the bed was comfortable, the shower was huge with good water pressure and the decor is really nicely done. Housekeeping services are great, everyday our bed was made and we were provided with fresh towels. The spa facilities are lovely - there are 4 pools to choose from, a sun deck on the roof, a 2-story gym, various treatment rooms where you can get massages (you must book at the spa reception for the wellness treatments). Bathrobes and slippers are provided in your room for use at the spa. An amazing way to unwind after a long day of exploring the streets of Budapest! I had an amazing experience as a guest at the Danubius Hotel Helia, and I stayed for a week. Thank you, and I can’t wait to return! My trip to Budapest was one of the best trips I have been on, and the Danubius Hotel Helia played a huge part in this! Bad: I have no negative comments, I truly had a great stay!

Good: The location is very nice, The room was clean and well equiped, The breakfast was good and The staff very nice Bad: At the breakfast we found loaves of bread that were frozen in The middle. We had a very noisy stay because of a window that couldn't be closed properly. We informed The staff twice but unfortunately nobody did anything about it and as a result, we couldn't rest properly. The parking at the property is very expensive from my Point of view, especially since you have no other parking options in the area

Last time we stayed at the N.Y Palace but I prefer this one for the following reasons - the reception staff are outstanding (Peter, Matt, Daniel, Victoria) - very professional, helpful, and pleasant as are all the staff!🙏🏻 Located in a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighbourhood. On the Danube and a 35 min walk to Margaret Island. 5 min walk from the Metro - 4 stops and you are in the centre of Budapest. The hotel is modern & cheerfully decorated, spacious yet cozy. Room - fabulous and v. quiet. Spa - very relaxing. Also took an exercise class & yoga. Breakfast- plenty to choose from. Bar menu- very good. Try the season pea soup (delicious + dumplings!). Thank you for everything ❤️

Good: Hotel frumos,amplasat pe malul Dunării.Este destul de aproape de zona centrala,la vreo 40 minute de mers pe jos.Micul dejun a fost diversificat.Exista parcare,ceea ce este un avantaj.

Good: Hotel Helia ligger precis bredvid floden Donau med utsikt över ön Margit sziget. Hotellet är jättestort och inrymmer ett fint spa med varma pooler, utmärkt massage, träningslokal och andra olika bra faciliteter. Bekvämt rum med skön säng, dusch, värdeskåp och kylskåp och kaffekokare. Utsökt jättestor frukostbuffé med allt man kan tänka sig, stort plus. Omelett tillagas på plats enligt önskemål. Superproffsig och trevlig personal i hela hotellet. Har varit här innan, och kommer gärna igen.

Good: L'albergo è nuovissimo! Corridoio che profumava di nuovo (è stato realmente ristrutturato da poco). Stanza confortevole e letto comodissimo! Bellissima. Bagno accessoriato, spa bellissima, servizio parrucchiera comodo. Bad: Colazione solo troppo salata, pochissimi miseri cornetti. Staff molto freddo! Poco sorridenti .

Good: Nie sme veľkí cestovatelia a teda nevieme úplne porovnávať, avšak tento hotel nás naozaj očaril. Čisté, útulné, plne vybavené izby, každý deň vyupratované, uteráky vymenené aj keď sme ich zámerne ani na zem nepoložili. Určite odporúčam izby s výhľadom na Dunaj. Jednu izbu sme mali na Dunaj, druhú na mesto. Funkčná chladnička, ak bolo treba každý deň nová fľaša minerálky alebo doplnenie čaju, kávy, smotany do kávy, sladidla alebo cukru. Raňajky i večere formou bohatých bufetovych stolov a veľa ovocia, rôzne druhy pečiva, k večeri aj rôzne druhy dezertov a pohár šampanského alebo džúsu. Džbán čistej vody bol samozrejmosťou, ak sa Vám minul, hneď priniesli ďalší. Úžasný pán, ktorý sa staral o batožinu. V cene bol aj vstup do bazénov, sauny a fitness. Zaplávali sme si dosýta aj v sedacom bazéne sme sa vymasirovali bublinkami. Mali sme k dispozícii aj župan a papuče. Dostupnosť metrom a mestskou dopravou úplne výborná. Pozor, ak ste boli zvyknutí na skupinový 24 hodinový lístok, tak ten už od januára 2025 nie je dostupný. Jednoducho celkovo sme z nášho 6 dňového pobytu s polpenziou nadšení. Bad: To, čo sa mi nepáčilo je tak hlboko subjektívne, že to už je len skôr taká informácia než kritika. Vôňa tekutého mydla na ruky a sprchového gélu dosť nepríjemná taká plastovo citrónová, trochu som ľutovala, že som si nezobrala vlastný sprchovací gél z domu. Šampón na vlasy neviem, ten som mala svoj. Ale opäť pozitívne je, že toto všetko máte k dispozícii, vrátane fénu. Dokonca aj také hotelové balenie telového mlieka, ktoré zase voňalo veľmi príjemne. 🙂 Na strane s výhľadom na mesto nás dosť rušil nepretržitý (vo dne, v noci) hukot, nevedeli sme to identifikovať skadiaľ to je, ale na noc sme zatvárali okno- takú malú vetračku, lebo naozaj sa pritom nedalo zaspať a zavreté okno to trochu tlmilo.

z zewnątrz budynek hotelu trochę straszy i nie sprawia dobrego wrażenia, natomiast wewnątrz widać, że wszystko po generalnym remoncie. w środku jest czysto i nowocześnie. dostateczne śniadania, na duży plus to, że hotel w strefie spa ma własne baseny termalne. wybitna proporcja ceny do jakości. polecam serdecznie.

Good: Locația la 200m de Dunăre. Nu departe de Parlament. Mâncarea de la MD și cină + dulciurile (am ales cameră cu demipensiune). Priveliștea super faină din camera de la et.5, ultimul. Parcare exterioară chiar mare! Personal drăguț peste tot, la bar la fel. Totul a fost ok. Merită să revenim! Budapesta = un oraș mișto! 😍

Good: ארוחת בוקר טובה מבחר מגוון ביחס לבתי מלון אחרים באותה רמה. הבריכות מצוינות בטמפרטורות שונות וזה מאוד נחמד. צוות מאוד שירותי ונחמד. Bad: החדרים הרגילים קטנים! מי שמגיע זוג+ ילד חייב לקחת לפחות סוויטה אחרת צפוף מאוד. המיקום מרוחק מהמרכז ובאזור אין כמעט כלום.

Good: Colazione ottima e varia, con scelta anche di dolci pur prevalendo il salato. Ottima e ben attrezzata la palestra e perfetta anche la zona piscine, con vasche a diversi gradi di temperatura. Posizione un po' defilata ma servita bene da bus e metro non distante, circa 500 mt.. Letti molto comodi anche se i cuscini migliorabili. Stanza non grandissima ma sufficiente e con armadio. Pulito e silenzioso, vista bella del Danubio da alcune stanze. Consigliato anche perché il prezzo è buono per la categoria. Bad: Ho trovato che la cena è troppo cara, infatti abbiamo mangiato sempre fuori

Good: The hotel is very good – the location is convenient. There is a large supermarket nearby and public transport stops close to the hotel. The reception staff are wonderful and very helpful with any questions. Bad: I understand that towels and bed linen are changed every few days, but from Thursday to Sunday our room was not cleaned at all, which was very disappointing.

Good: Dejligt sted med gode værelser og venligt personale, morgenmaden var god. Offentlig transport lige udenfor hotellet. Bad: Solstolene på tag terrassen kunne godt trænge til at blive spændt, ellers var alt 👍👍

Good: O local é muito bonito, novo e o SPA é incluído no preço. Fizemos o check out na madrugada e eles prepararam um lanchinho da madrugada pra gente uma vez que não íamos tomar o café da manhã. O local fica a 20 min do centro de ônibus. Bad: Não conseguiram flexibilae o checkin pra um pouco mais cedo

Everything was so delicious that even when we said we’d “just have a coffee,” we always ended up eating more because we simply couldn’t resist! From the fresh ingredients to the comforting local dishes and the beautifully presented buffets, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was always welcoming, and the staff were consistently kind, smiling, and attentive. It really added to the joy of our trip. Flott spa-hotell med store gode rom, veldig variert og god frokost og veldig hjelpsomme ansatte. Praktisk beliggenhet nær Metro, men samtidig stille og rolig. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

We had a great stay at Danubius Hotel Helia. The breakfast and meals were excellent — lots of variety and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel is really nice, very pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are spotless, modern, and newly designed, which we really appreciated. The view of the Danube River from the room was beautiful! On the downside, the balcony wasn’t as clean as we expected, as it was covered with spider webs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it was a big plus that even though we arrived early, they allowed us to leave our luggage and use the hotel’s common areas while waiting for check-in. Overall, a great experience!

Good: The breakfast was perfect, especially on Sunday—pleasant to enjoy a glass of Hungarian sparkling wine. The spa was a nice bonus after a hot day of walking. Very friendly staff, convenient location and affordable parking. Extra plus: locked parking for bicycles if you’re traveling with one.👍

This is a mass market hotel, mainly used by tour groups and airline staff etc. There are 4 pools (very crowded) and the water is hot (38 degrees) and spa with medical services and therapy, river view. We booked the junior suite, and the bed was wonderful and very comfortable (hard matress). Breakfast was extremely crowded, most foods catered for, as expected for a 4 star hotel. Checkout is 11 am. Please bear this in mind, as some hotels have late checkout, but not this one. We were chased from the room with phone calls, knocks on the door, etc. You can open the windows. This is important to mention, as it is nolonger standard in some modern hotels.

Good: Ottima posizione. Davanti all'hotel è presente un negozio e un Rossman. La fermata del 79 del 75 e del 15 a 250m di distanza. Con il 79 e il 75 si arriva alla fermata metro che può essere raggiunta anche a piedi con una camminata di circa 7 minuti a passo lento. In 20 minuti si può arrivare a piedi, lato fiume, al centro. L'hotel si trova davanti al fiume e infatti consiglio camera con vista per ammirare la notte un bellissimo panorama. La colazione ottima, variegata, ben equilibrata tra il dolce e il salato. La cena buona anche se per noi italiani un po troppo "internazionale " con sapori un po confusi. La camera giusta nelle misure anche per più giorni. Il bagno forse un po piccolo ma accettabile. Unico neo le pulizie, fatte nel modo corretto solo ogni 3 giorni, infatti i letti rifatti in modo approssimativo (praticamente appoggiato il piumone); cestini non svuotati e doccia non pulita. Ottimo il servizio piscina, con tre vasche a diverse a differenti temperature hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più confortevole. Abbiamo provato anche il servizio della camera del sale, privata e con un prezzo ottimo (5000 fiorini). Bad: La pulizia approssimativa della camera con letti "sfatti" doccia non pulita giornalmente, cestini non svuotati, non spazzata tutti i giorni.
