Reviews of Danubius Hotel Helia's guests

We stayed at the Danubius Helia Hotel for 4 nights and found it very clean and comfortable. We also had use of the pools which was a welcome bonus. Rooms were very well maintained and had a very high standard of cleanliness. My only fault was the pillows, we only had one each so asked at reception for another 2 but were told thay had ran out of pillows which I thought a bit like the pub with no beer. The two pillows duly arrived on our third day. We ate in both the Hotel restaurant and the cafe bar and were pleased with the food and the service in both. The hotel was in a nice quiet area with views of the River Danube. We used the metro quite a lot, it was only approx 300 metres from the hotel also the 79 bus goes to Heroes Square from just outside the hotel and there is also a metro station there. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and I would certainly stay there again should I return to Budapest.

The hotel was excellent, clean, quiet, with very good spa and pools. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about.

We loved our stay in Budapest, the Hotel was very close to the DAnube River, so we had nice walks everyday. It was a little distant to the centrum, but we enjoyed our walks. They had a piano player everynight, the pools with thermal waters and the gym were great after a busy day.

We choosed Danubius Helia because of all the different treatments including sauna, warmwater pools etc. Trollybus right outside the hotel. A short walk to Budapests great Metrosystem. Just a few minuts to the city. Close to shoppingmalls because of the metro. Our second time in Budapest and we still enjoy the town.

Hotel Danubius is just a short stroll or ride from all of the main attractions that you can visit in this bustling city. Whether you have gone for sightseeing, shopping or just to chill out and have a good time you won't be disappointed with your choice of city or hotel. You can always try the the Health Spa in the hotel if you just want to relax after a long day in the city, or first thing in the morning after a hectic night on the tiles, but this little treat will do you the world of good and set you up for another day in Budapest. Enjoy!!!

The Helia Spa Hotel is a gem of Budapest. It is in a quite location beside the river. The hotel and rooms are modern, quite and clean. The four pool spa is also a gem. If you really want to relax and enjoy Budapest and the spa life, stay at the Helia. The breakfast is excellent. Don't worry if it's not included in the price of the hotel. It's only a few Euros extra. There is easy access to the city center via an electric bus outside of the hotel and an easy transfer to an above ground, scenic route tram. It takes less than twenty minutes to get to the city center from the hotel via public transportation. The hotel staff is more than happy to answer any questions you have. But, be brave, purchase a public transportation pass and hop around beautiful Budapest. It's a great way to see the city and experience life the way the Hungarians do. The Helia Spa Hotel is the place to return to and start your day on a visit to Budapest.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this smart hotel. Very comfortable room and esoecially enjoyed the fitness suite and spa facilities which were excellent. Very convenient position in relation to the main tourist areas-a pleasant walk along the Danube river to the Par;liament building.

Very good Hotel,clean and with very efficient staff,especially at the front office desk. Check in and out,fast and flawless. Very much appreciated not having had to struggle with the local language,thanks to the capable english speaking staff.

Good: everything good for the Hotel Bad: the only negative thing is that my reservation is river view room, but hotel did not give me that.

We were very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The hotel is located in a very good location. There is direct access to bus (trolley/bus), only 1 station (approx. - 600 meters) to the metro station. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood and (as usual) in Budapest confectioneries. A supermarket is about 50m from the hotel. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. In the room you will find everything you may need. Safe, TV, iron, minibar, shampoo ... Everything was available. The staff was helpful at all times and nice. The wellness-rooms were also very clean. The food I sadly can't say, since we did not booked breakfast. In my opinion, are up to 20€/breakfast too much, but the room rate (superior with Danube-view for about 35 euros per night) can't be beat. If I want to go to Budapest, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Замечательный отель на берегу реки с прекрасными бассейнами с минеральной водой. Чистые современные номера со свежим ремонтом.

A szállodának jo az elhelyezkedése, szép-modern ,wellnes részleg is tetszett 🙂 bőséges reggeli, kedves személyzet ,mosolygós pincérek 🙂kényelmes ágy, kilátás a Dunára...a szoba mérte nem túl nagy ... de õsszességében elégedettek voltunk 🙂

Good: Micul dejun diversificat. Personal amabil.

Good: Personál bol nesmierne milý, od plavčíka až po recepčnú, krásne prostredie, bohaté raňajky. Pekný bazén s rozličnými teplotami vody. Sauny sú rozdelené na mužskú a ženskú časť, v každej je jedna parná a jedna suchá sauna. Bad: Sauny a priestor pred nimi by uvítali rekonštrukciu a vylepšenie priestoru, aby to bol skutočný wellness, nielen sauna.

Good: Abszolut felső kategória,az ételek kiválóak. Bad: Zsúfolt,zajos,tele külföldivel. A reggelinél olyan érzése van az embernek,mintha Kambodzsában a helyi piacon reggelizne…

Good: Poloha hotela nám vyhovovala. Parkovanie pri hoteli bolo bezproblémové. Vzdialenosť k mestkej doprave bolo na pár minút chôdze. Do centra mesta sme sa dostali cca za pol hodiny, čo nám veľmi vyhovovalo. Izby boli čisté a pekné zariadené s novým nábytkom. Výhľad na Dunaj. Viackrát sme využili aj bazény. Plavecký aj s teplou vodou. Wellness časť je veľkým plusom hotela. Raňajky formou švédskych stolov boli kráľovské a ocenili sme aj to že mysleli aj na alergikov. Bad: Nič také sme nenašli.

Good: Café da manhã muito bom! Grande variedade com foco em comidas internacionais. Para almoço e jantar, o buffet deixava a desejar e com preço alto. O Bar tinha opções mais simples e com preços mais justos. Piscina aquecida muito boa mas bastante cheia. Bad: Localização não é ideal. Longe do centro e principais atrações mas perto de estação de metro. Piscina muito cheia embora tenha estrutura boa.

Good: Sauberes Hotel mit guter Lage. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Guter SPA Bereich. Bad: Betten zu weich

Good: Hotel byl krásný moderně zařízený, vše funkční a čisté, jídlo výborné a personál všude velmi milý vstřícný a usmívající se . Lokalita super, naproti hned potraviny a drogerie a do centra kousíček busem nebo boltem nebo i krasnou procházkou Bad: Asi není co vytknout, možná cena parkovného 20e za noc a to že v hotelu můžete na jednom pokoji ubytovat jen jednoho pejska, museli jsme jednoho nechat doma :(

Good: Το πρωϊνό ήταν εξαιρετικό! Το δωμάτιο πολύ καλό, αρκετά άνετο, με όμορφη θέα, καλές παροχές και καθαρό. Πολύ ωραίο κρεβάτι, στρώμα πολύ ωραία λευκά είδη. Ο φωτισμός επίσης πολύ καλός. Η τοποθεσία πολύ αν και κάπως μακριά από το κέντρο, αλλά με εύκολη πρόσβαση, ακόμα και με τα πόδια, σε όποιον αρέσει η φύση και το περπάτημα. Bad: Μία από τις μέρες η καθαριότητα δεν ήταν άριστη. Το προσωπικό παρέβλεψε, από λάθος ή βιασύνη προφανώς, να πάρει έναν καφέ σε χάρτινο κυπελάκι και να αλλάξουν ένα ποτήρι, που χρησιμοποιήσαμε για να καφέ. Επίσης, θα ήταν καλό αν μπορούσε να επισπευσθεί, κάπως, ή ώρα του chek in, 15:00 είναι λίγο αργά.

Good: Es war alles Top ! Das Frühstück hatte wirklich alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wellnessanlage war schön ! Wir kommen gern wieder :)

Good: Прекрасное местоположение, легко добираться до всех достопримечательностей. Прекрасные завтраки, очень дружелюбный персонал, чисто. Хороший бассейн. Абсолютно довольны. Если будем еще в Будапеште этот отель снова будет наш выбор.

Good: Допало нам се скоро све, базен је супер, доручак је супер, собе су супер, мало се осећа канлазиација. Bad: Није нам се допало што се паркинг наплаћује за посетиоце хотела. То је велики минус.

Good: Większość rzeczy było ok! Pokój czysty Miła obsługa Śniadanie obfite (bufet) Sauna mega! Korytarze czyste! Bad: Basen zbyt chlorowana woda ( dzieci dostały wysypki) Brakuje jakiś atrakcji dla dzieci w hotelu i na basenie Mieliśmy swoje zabawki do wody,ale tylko piłkę pozwolili użyć. Skakać nie chlapać nie to trochę słabe jak dla dzieci. Obiado-kolacja zdecydowanie zbyt uboga jak za 30 euro. Trochę mały wybór jeśli się jest z dziećmi. Reszta jak najbardziej ok!

Good: Bellissima struttura, molto pulita. Personale molto gentile, accogliente e sorridente. Le terme all’interno sono un bel valore aggiunto, grandi e pulite. L’albergo è un po’ spostato dalle attrazioni della città ma a 5 minuti a piedi c’è la metropolitana. Camera vista Danubio fantastica. Colazione eccellente. Bad: Un unico problema era il piatto doccia che perdeva un pochino d’acqua.

Good: 早餐不错，很干净。在多瑙河边上，离景点稍远，但理想地点沿着多瑙河散步 Bad: 房间有点小，尤其是厕所。

Good: Nem egy medencével szúrják ki az ember szemét. Kényelmes, tágas wellness. Minden tökéletesen tiszta volt. A személyzet messzemenően kedves és segítőkész. Az ételek színvonalasak. Az elhelyezkedés is kiváló. Bad: Kissé kicsik a szobák. Nem értem, miért olyan drága a plussz ital a vacsorához. Irreális... Ennyi vendégre kicsit kevésnek tűnt a 3 lift.

Good: Hôtel bien situé, à 10 min du métro 3 et 3 min de plusieurs lignes de bus. Chambre double très moderne avec eau offerte et petits accessoires de toilettes. Propreté impeccable. Très bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. La piscine ouverte jusqu'à 21h45 avec 3 bassins (26-28°C / 32-34°C / 36-38°C) était très agréable, avec des bulles pour le plus chaud.

Gemütliche Zimmer, moderne Renovierung, viel Licht. Köstliches Essen, wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Good: Die grösse und die Ausstattung des Zimmers. Küche, Küchentisch, zwei WCs, Bidet, das Hauptbett war ziemlich neu, auch dass das Zimmer und das ganze Hotel kam mir wie vor kurzem renoviert vor. Bad: War eigentlich alles gut, dafür das Hotel sicher 30-40 Jahre alt ist. Ich habe die Putzfrau gebeten nochmals Staub zu saugen da ich sehr pingelig bin und wollte da kein Haare auf dem Boden haben.. aber andere würden sagen; es war top sauber, ich habe trotzdem was gefunden..

Good: Meget flotte værelser og omgivelser. Utroligt venligt personale.Rolig beliggenhed ved Donau. Gode badefaciliteter. Bad: Morgenmaden var gennemsnitlig - stort udvalg, men kaffen og juicen var ikke god. Ellers ok værdi for pengene.

Good: Super hôtel très bien équipé et un petit déjeuner gargantuesque.Super piscines et spa hammam et sauna. Le top. Le seul bémol un peu éloigné du centre ville mais cela se fait très bien à pied (environ 40 mn du parlement). Tout était parfait !

Good: Hyvä aamiainen, perus kylpylä, sijainti hyvä Budapestissa samoiluun.

Good: Sve odlicno.

Krásný hotel, vše čisté, bazén k dispozici od rána do večera. Úžasné snídaně, veliký výběr. Není nejblíže k památkám, ale nechá se řešit dopravou, nebo chodit pěšky jako my. Velice děkujeme za skvělý pobyt.

Good: Všetko sa nám páčilo. Boli sme nadmieru spokojní. Bad: Nemáme hotelu čo vytknúť.

Good: À proximité des sites à visiter et des transports en commun qui mènent au centre ville. Installations thermales excellentes.

Good: Огромный плюс что спа работает с 7 утра и до 10 вечера, можно с детьми в любое время. Бассеины большие с температурой воды на любой вкус. Прекрасный отдых для семьи

Good: Hotel je situován na pobřeží Dunaje, některé pokoje s výhledem na Dunaj a Markaretin ostrov. Pokoje po renovaci, jednoduché ale funkčně zařízené s klimatizací, ledničkou, koupelna (sprchový kout) a šatník. Stravováni formou polopenzí bylo vynikající, široký výběr kvalitních jídel. Placené parkování před hotelem. Wellness a fitcentrum dostupný celý den. V blízkosti supermarket, zastávka trolejbusů

Good: Kahvaltıya bayıldık. Her şey çok lezzetli ve yeterliydi. Kahve ve kruvasanları lezizdi. Tesis bir termal tesis gibi. Bir miktar uzak ama toplu taşıma ile rahat gelip gidebildik. Bad: Odamız asansöre yakındı. Özellikle Çocuklar ve düşüncesiz misafirler kata geldiklerinde gürültüleri duyuldu ve biraz rahatsız olduk. Oda kapıları ses geçiriyor. Banyoda da biraz rutubet kokusu vardı. Bunların haricinde her şey güzeldi.

Good: Nagyon tetszik a szálloda, kedvesek a dolgozók, felújított és tiszta a szoba, szeretem a panorámát, elégedett vagyok a reggelivel, és a kedvencem a Yellow Bistro. Kiváló, hogy medence is van a szállodában, szívesen jövök ide legközelebb is. Közlekedésileg is nagyon szerencsés helyen van.
