Flott spa-hotell med store gode rom, veldig variert og god frokost og veldig hjelpsomme ansatte. Praktisk beliggenhet nær Metro, men samtidig stille og rolig. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

We had a great stay at Danubius Hotel Helia. The breakfast and meals were excellent — lots of variety and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel is really nice, very pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are spotless, modern, and newly designed, which we really appreciated. The view of the Danube River from the room was beautiful! On the downside, the balcony wasn’t as clean as we expected, as it was covered with spider webs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it was a big plus that even though we arrived early, they allowed us to leave our luggage and use the hotel’s common areas while waiting for check-in. Overall, a great experience!

Good: The breakfast was perfect, especially on Sunday—pleasant to enjoy a glass of Hungarian sparkling wine. The spa was a nice bonus after a hot day of walking. Very friendly staff, convenient location and affordable parking. Extra plus: locked parking for bicycles if you’re traveling with one.👍

This is a mass market hotel, mainly used by tour groups and airline staff etc. There are 4 pools (very crowded) and the water is hot (38 degrees) and spa with medical services and therapy, river view. We booked the junior suite, and the bed was wonderful and very comfortable (hard matress). Breakfast was extremely crowded, most foods catered for, as expected for a 4 star hotel. Checkout is 11 am. Please bear this in mind, as some hotels have late checkout, but not this one. We were chased from the room with phone calls, knocks on the door, etc. You can open the windows. This is important to mention, as it is nolonger standard in some modern hotels.

Good: Very clean and good location. Room and bathroom was good size and immaculate. Bad: Air con working though I would have rather had it colder as outside between 30/36 degrees daytime. Dinner was not to my liking, meat was dried up and too salty, though breakfast is superb though you pay for coffee, very strange in a 4 star hotel.

Good: Ottima posizione. Davanti all'hotel è presente un negozio e un Rossman. La fermata del 79 del 75 e del 15 a 250m di distanza. Con il 79 e il 75 si arriva alla fermata metro che può essere raggiunta anche a piedi con una camminata di circa 7 minuti a passo lento. In 20 minuti si può arrivare a piedi, lato fiume, al centro. L'hotel si trova davanti al fiume e infatti consiglio camera con vista per ammirare la notte un bellissimo panorama. La colazione ottima, variegata, ben equilibrata tra il dolce e il salato. La cena buona anche se per noi italiani un po troppo "internazionale " con sapori un po confusi. La camera giusta nelle misure anche per più giorni. Il bagno forse un po piccolo ma accettabile. Unico neo le pulizie, fatte nel modo corretto solo ogni 3 giorni, infatti i letti rifatti in modo approssimativo (praticamente appoggiato il piumone); cestini non svuotati e doccia non pulita. Ottimo il servizio piscina, con tre vasche a diverse a differenti temperature hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più confortevole. Abbiamo provato anche il servizio della camera del sale, privata e con un prezzo ottimo (5000 fiorini). Bad: La pulizia approssimativa della camera con letti "sfatti" doccia non pulita giornalmente, cestini non svuotati, non spazzata tutti i giorni.

Good: Tout était très bien. L'accueil, la chambre (en plus nous avons été surclassés), le petit dejeuner avec un très grand choix de qualité, le rapport qualité prix est incontestable, le spa avec ses 3 piscines à différentes températures, le hammam. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le sauna car il fallait être sans maillot. A savoir : l'hôtel est un peu excentré. Mais c'est aussi ce qui fait son calme et la beauté de la vue sur le fleuve. Devant l'hôtel, il y a une station de vélo en libre service ce qui est très pratique pour rejoindre le centre en quelques minutes. Il y a aussi un bus mais nous ne l'avons pas pris. A pied c'est faisable aussi avec une jolie balade le long du Danube (mais c'est un peu long si on doit le faire plusieurs fois). Bad: Rien.

Good: Dejligt med pool/spa på hotellet. God beliggenhed tæt ved Donau, men lidt langt væk fra de mest interessante seværdigheder. God og varieret morgenbuffet. Aftenbuffeten var dog kedelig og dyr ift. at gå på restaurant.

Good: Sve pohvale za kompletno osoblje hotela, ljubazni, nasmijani i uvijek spremni pomoć. Soba i ostali sadržaji su kao i na slikama. Hotel se nalazi u mirnom kvartu a opet dovoljno blizu centru da možete i prošetat.

The hotel has been recently renovated (2025) and therefore the interior and rooms are in a great shape. Also the location is good. With nice views on the danube and the green Margit Island and the beautiful Buda hills. The SPA area is nice and really good with little children , however it would need renovation as well. The staff was also nice and helpful. The only negative thing to mention is that the cleaning staff is not on top of their game. Our suite had some spiderwebs here and there , also they do not seem to vacuum under the bed and sofa.

Bad: Not enough toiletries (toothbrush/paste, body lotion), coffee/tea refills in the room, no Netflix app, lots of kids/families in the hotel - it can be loud.

Hotel čistý, všichni příjemní, měli jsme jen snídaně ale ty byly opravdu super, všeho dost, taková evropská klasika ale výběr rozhodně dostačující. Hotelová restaurace yellow moc fajn jídlo skvělé, dezerty výborné. Poloha velmi dobrá kousek od marketina ostrovu kam doporucuji večerní procházku. Procházkou lze dojít do centra. Bazény a sauna žádný luxus za mě tak za 3 zastarale a hodně chloru. Ale děti to neřešily. Fitko vybavene dostatečně. Příjemné venkovní posezení. Prostě doporučuji

Nous y avons passé un superbe séjour dans l'appartement suite Deluxe. La vue sur le Danube était superbe. Le quartier par contre n'est pas très vivant et impossible de trouver un restaurant ou un café ouvert en semaine aux alentours de l'hôtel. La chambre n'a plus nous être donné qu'une heure après l'heure officielle d'enregistrement; le personnel de réception nous a gentiment offert une boisson pour patienter. Par contre, pour le départ, impossible de différer celui-ci d'une heure....

Good: Das Personal ist absolut top! Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. DANKE Wir hatten die Familiensuite 304 und waren begeistert! Die Suite bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Donau. Sie ist schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Betten sind wirklich bequem. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht – sogar eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine inklusive einiger Kapseln sowie ein großer Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet – es war wirklich alles da, was man sich wünschen kann. Eine grosse Auswahl an frischen Früchten, Brötchen und frisch zubereiteten Omeletts. Der Kaffee war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wer da nichts findet, ist selbst schuld ;-) Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen – nur etwa 150 Meter entfernt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Mit den Linien 75 und 79 ist man in einer Station an der U-Bahn. Wir waren ausschliesslich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs. Wenn man länger als drei Tage bleibt, lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall, eine 72-Stunden-Karte zu kaufen. Bad: Das Einzige, was wir bemängeln würden, ist die Dichtung an der Balkontür, die bei starkem Wind etwas undicht ist – aber das war auch schon alles. Kleine Anmerkung für Raucher 😉: Das Hotel ist ein reines Nichtraucherhotel – auch E-Zigaretten sind im Gebäude nicht erlaubt. Geraucht werden darf nur auf der grossen Terrasse oder vor dem Hoteleingang.

Good: Micul dejun și cina, gustoase și variate Zona de fitness ok, deși unele aparate sunt vechi și ar necesita înlocuirea lor cu unele mai moderne Piscinele au fost curate, cu temperaturi ale apei pt toate gusturile. Locația foarte buna, pe malul Dunării, aproape de punctele de atracție turistică. Bad: Curățenia în cameră, ar putea fi îmbunătățită. Se face zilnic, dar superficial și cu dezinteres din partea personalului. Un hotel de 4 stele, ne așteptam să ofere parcare gratuită, însă nu e așa. Dar prețul este rezonabil.

We came back 1 hour before the regular check-in time. They said the same thing but they offered me early check-in with some amount of money with an email. So actually they had a ready room.

A Relaxing Stay with Everything You Need 🌟 We had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel in Budapest! This hotel truly offers everything you could want for a relaxing getaway — from the beautiful spa area to the comfortable and stylish rooms. The spa and wellness facilities are a highlight: a great mix of indoor and outdoor pools, several types of saunas, and plenty of massage and therapy options. Everything is clean, relaxing, and well organized. The only odd part was that the saunas were separated by gender, which felt a bit limiting — a mixed sauna would be a welcome addition. Our room was perfect — spacious, elegant, and very tastefully decorated. A small suggestion: it would be helpful to add trash bags to the bins, and in our case, the ventilation system wasn't working, which caused an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was overall very good and tasty, with a wide variety to choose from. Just one small thing — the omelet station can be quite slow, so a bit more speed there would make mornings smoother. Also, the coffee from the machines wasn’t great — we wouldn’t recommend it. The location is about 25 minutes walking till the turistic area but is a nice walk near Danube with great views. I prefer this one eaven if before we stayed in the center. Despite a few small details, this hotel is a fantastic choice, especially for those looking to unwind. The pools, spa, and overall atmosphere make it a top pick in Budapest. We’ll definitely return!

Good: Hotel bardzo ładny. Obsługa zarówno na wejściu jak i na śniadaniu bardzo miła. Pokój czysty, lodówka, klimatyzacja, wygodne duże łóżko, prysznic również duży. W łazience suszarka i kosmetyki pod prysznicem. W szafie szlafroki i kapcie. Super baseny, z bardzo ciepłą wodą. Śniadanie różnorodne, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Ogólnie hotel bardzo na plus.

Good: Habitacion limpia, vista al río, no muy grande pero con el espacio justo. El spa muy bien con sus 4 piscinas de distintas temperaturas. Bad: La cocina del lounge cierra temprano y el personal no te lo comunica de manera muy cordial. Es como que le molesta si uno llega cerca del horario de cierre que no es el mismo que el lounge.

Good: Este un hotel bun, camera cu pat confortabil si taote utilitatile ; aer conditionat, frigider, halate pentru piscina (deschisa pana la 22.00), balcon cu vedere la Dunare. Bad: Check out ar putea finla 12.00. A fost o alarma falsa seara târziu, am fost evacuati si nu am primit lamuriri decat la check out.

Good: Allas osasto kiva. Aamupala erinomainen. Siisti hotelli. Bad: Piha-aluetta voisi vähän kehittää.
